This Little Green Hydrosteam Pet carpet cleaner has been a great addition to my cleaning arsenal. It's very portable (though not the most lightweight) and has different modes depending on the type of cleaning you want to do. I've used it to clean dirt and stains from carpet and drapery, build-up in shower grout, and even my kids' shoes! And I've been impressed with the results every single time. It did take me a bit of time to understand the different settings and how to properly clean the machine after use. It's quite intuitive once you get it, but I did struggle at first with understanding how to detach and reattach the different compartments. It also is quite noisy, despite its small size, so don't expect to use this during nap time. All in all, this is a great little carpet cleaner than I anticipate using regularly in the future. I will say - when I first heard it was arriving - I was ecstatic! I have three kiddos + a dog with multiple surfaces, so things in our household take their serious share of wear + tear. I was especially interested in using on several lighter colored (washable) rugs that are larger in size. The rugs were purchased specifically for their easy clean / maintain feature. Since the rugs are so large (9x12), I thought this little machine would be perfect to clean up some dingy looking areas. What I will say to start is this - directions were extremely straight-forward; the machine required virtually no set-up; it was light weight; + really easy to use. The cord is also pretty long, so I didn't find myself lugging the machine around to clean varying areas of the floor. What I was a little disappointed in was the overall performance. I used all cleaning attachments, tried all settings + I'm not overly impressed with the way my rugs turned out. I will also add - it was easy to clean + worked great on several surfaces (tile, wood). I attempted on upholstery as well - it was sub par. I am willing to give the product a few more uses - and try changing out the cleaning solution to a varying type (I used only what was included in the product package. I will also say it's a nice touch to add two of the cleaning solution bottles, rather than make you purchase in addition up front. All-in-all - I still have some hope + this won't be making it to the corner of the garage where the island of misfit purchases + no longer used products is located just yet.

I love the weight and size of it. I have a standard carpet cleaner as well and this machine is so much easier to carry around and use. I steam cleaned my tile floor in my bathroom and got areas clean that are extremely difficult to clean without using a tiny brush. It also pulled a ton of dirt out of areas I didn't realize were so dirty on my rugs and couches. It handled well with their being pet hair in the way as well. It was extremely easy to use and figure out especially if you have ever used a carpet cleaner before. Everything comes apart so every part can be cleaned after. Overall I would choose this machine over setting up the large, heavy style cleaner. I love the size of this machine and the steam option that you can turn on.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this portable carpet cleaner from the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and I couldn't have been more excited to try it! (Un)luckily for me, I was given the perfect chance to give it a go, when my mom's dog peed on my bed, soaking through to my mattress. Once I noticed the stain, I immediately grabbed my Little Green HydroSteam Pet, and got to work. In a little less than 5 minutes, the pee was gone, and my mattress smelled fresh and clean! I've also used it to clean a food stain from a recliner arm. It was amazing to watch the stain basically disappear as soon as I got the steam and cleaning solution on it! I love how simple it is to set up and use the cleaner. It is super portable, and the wire and hose are cleverly stored on the machine, making it compact and mess free. I'm not always the best at setting up new gadgets, but the instructions provided were very clear, and left no questions unanswered. They even included a handy quick guide attached to the machine itself, which I really appreciated, and found myself referring to a few times when I initially used it. The machine itself is a breeze to use, and I found it weirdly satisfying to watch the dirty water being sucked into the dirty water tank. Once I was finished, clean up was straightforward and took only a few minutes at most. There are three different cleaning modes, depending on the type of stain and object you are using it on, and my favorite feature is the versatility of the items it can clean. It can be used on carpet, upholstery, and even tile and grout! I can't wait to get it working on my shower tile, which definitely is in need of a refresh! I can tell that I will get a ton of use out of this little workhorse, and I will be forever grateful that such a product exists! If I had to improve anything, it would maybe be to make it a bit quieter, as the motor is a bit on the noisy side, and I would be afraid to use it too close to my daughter's room if she was asleep.

I never thought I'd be so lucky to receive such an amazing product from the Stellar Product Testing Panel to review. At first I was quite intimidated to even open the box and try the machine, I was worried it would be too complicated to figure out or even worse what if I mess something up? Straight out of the box quick set up guide made it easy and was super helpful. With 3 dogs, a messy toddler, and even messier husband, oh and a baby on the way the possibilities are endless with this machine and the messes are plentiful. My favorite feature so far has to be the steam feature, I'm all about working smarter not harder, being able to utilize the steam to first loosen the yucky grime or sticky mess before I have to use harmful chemicals to do the same thing is so helpful and of course not having to sit there and scrub just to loosen the mess. You can easily tote this machine from room to room and love that it truly is an all purpose machine and not just another "carpet cleaner". Which of course while we all love a good carpet cleaner and this has been no exception it has worked well on new and old stains it's nice not having to use a full size machine but it would be nice if it had some type of wheels or rolling feature, I have found myself cleaning and set the machine down and get carried away and almost tip it over by stretching to clean. Over all I definitely recommend this product and so excited to have a compact and easy to carry machine to use.

I am a father of two boys - an infant and a toddler - and have two cats. Needless to stay, messes in our house are commonplace! Whether it's the kiddos spilling their drinks or painting the carpet, or the cats coughing up hairballs, there are ALWAYS messes to clean up. Within a few days of getting the product, I put the Little Green to the test on our fabric couch, which sees high traffic / use. To use it on the couch, I retrieved the machine from the closet, filled the water tank, poured in some of the PetPro detergent, plugged the machine in, and turned the machine to SteamWash Max Steam mode. In total, I was up and running in less than a minute! I then held the hand wand a few inches above the couch cushion and pressed/held the trigger, with steam instantly coming out. I moved across the cushion with the steam to make sure I covered the entire cushion, and then let go of the trigger, which activates the suction / vacuum function. Then, I pressed the wand against the couch and slowly dragged it from top to bottom, going from right to left across the couch. Within 3 minutes, I was done. I am providing pictures of the before / after of the cushion, as well as the dirty water reservoir after the 3 minute clean. The results are CRAZY, and the couch looks new and smells great! The pictures don't do the machine justice! Outside of the SteamWash Max Steam mode, there are two other modes - steam and wash. Steam mode is noted to work well on oily messes and beverages while wash mode is more effective for pet and dairy stains. I did test the wash mode on the chocolate milk my son spilled after first trying the steam mode and the wash mode did do a better job getting the stain out through its deeper cleaning functionality. In the end, this is a great machine that I am looking forward to using for years to come. Highly recommended!

The knobs are daily intuitive and as long as you read the QuickStart guide it's easy to set up. The water tanks are sufficient for any small cleaning project. I got this cleaner as part of the stellar testing panel. My dog threw up on my cloth reclining chair so had a great chance to test it out. The hydro steam took care of the spot no problem. I only rated 4 starts because I didn't get the three inch tool. The tools I did get worked great though!

It has a long cord and it doesn't take a long time to heat up for the steam. It does a great job with with little pet stains and is great for cleaning your upholstery on your couch. Having 2 young boys this cleaner never gets put away and has yet to disappoint. I received this product to test through Stella product testing. It really stepped up the game for small cleaners adding the steam feature, allowing for steam only, steam and spray, or just spray cleaning solution.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really liked this portable steam cleaner. It was super easy to set up and had an easy to follow instructions. One thing I would have liked was for it to indicate clearly which of the attachments were included as can very quickly lose track of these things while unpacking. It was pretty lightweight and the tanks were easy to take off and reattach without any spills! The clean tank also had full lines to show how much of the cleaner to water is needed. I like how there are three settings. The steam was really great at removing stains from our couch without soaking the cushions so that they dried quickly. The power wash was super effective at cleaning up pet messes from the carpet. Really felt like it was a deep clean with minimal effort. Favourite feature was most definitely the steam and the instructions made it clear that it will take a little time for the steam to start. I thought that the design features with the little copper touches were a nice added touch and that the hose wraps round to store away in a compact manner. Potty training is no joke with a stubborn 3 year old and spit up with a newborn. This machine has gotten A LOT of use in the last little while. It's light and easy to use. We've used it on rugs, carpet, our couches and pillows. I really love the steam, it comforts me that it's getting super clean not just surface level. I do with the hose was a little longer and if you let it sit for a minute when you use it again a stream of water sometimes shoots out. Overall I would still recommend this and I use it all the time!
