The Little Green HydroSteam Pet was super easy to set up. When you took it out of the box, there was an intuitive quick start guide and instruction manual to help you learn the different functions of the cleaner. The experience with getting the vacuum ready to clean is seamless. Right away you notice the convenience of tool storage directly on the cleaner itself-a practical touch. Filling the water tank is also a simple process: unlatch it, add water, and some detergent, and you're good to go. The cleaner offers three settings: wash, steam, and a combination of both. The included instructions highlight which mode is ideal for different fabrics. The overall design of the product impressed me, with thoughtful placement of buttons and an optimal weight for ease of use. In steam mode, a small red indicator light informs you of when the steam was ready (about 30 seconds) which provides a helpful visual cue. I tested the wash mode on my front entrance area rug, which had some stubborn, embedded dirt. While it did make a noticeable difference, it's worth noting that this cleaner isn't intended for deep carpet cleaning. Covering an entire rug would require a significant amount of effort. Additionally, I tried the combination steam and wash mode on a section of our couch where our dog frequently rests. While the cleaner left the couch feeling fresh, it struggled to pick up pet hair. This was somewhat disappointing, considering the product's branding as a pet-specific cleaner. In summary, I would rate this product a 3 out of 5. It performs well for surface cleaning, but falls short in dealing with pet hair and isn't practical for anything beyond spot cleaning. As such, I'm uncertain how often I would take it out of the closet just for spot cleaning.

This machine looks really nice coming out of the box. It comes with 3 different heads and a bottle of solution. I found it easy to figure out with quick start guide and manual. The tank has lines on it for water and solution so it's very easy with no measuring. I tried it on the upholstery of a dining chair. I had given up on it due to it being so stained but I was very impressed. I watched the stains disappear before my eyes! It definitely worked. I did find it hard to hold down the steam button for after awhile. It might be hard to use for someone with arthritis. Otherwise it was very easy to use and satisfying because I could see it working in real time. After I was done with the chair I was looking for more things to clean! What was also satisfying was looking at the dirty water tank (yes it separates dirty water!) and seeing the amount of dirt it took out of just one chair cushion. Wow! I tried the multi surface tool on my floor tile and I don't think it's the best tool for that as it's hard to get leverage. I didn't notice a big difference on tile. It performed very well on fabrics and would be great to use on all kinds of upholstery, couches, and area rugs. I wish I had this item when my baby kept spitting up on the couch. It's perfect for those surface stains. It's also pretty compact and not too heavy. I can see using it upstairs and downstairs without a problem. Both the power cord and the hose stow away safely on the unit, making it very portable and easy to store. Because of this it is a great item for car upholstery and trunks as well. It's very versatile.

I used it mostly on carpet and upholstery and was amazed at how quickly and easily this machine got the stains out. The HydroSteam machine was super easy to set up, and the quick start guide was simple to understand. I was able to use the product right away with ease. Not only did I use this product to remove stains from my carpet and furniture, I used the steam only feature to steam clean my toddler's toys, which was probably my favorite part! I love the versatility of the Little Green HydroSteam Pet, and I think it is a great product for households with pets, kids, or both! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I try my best to keep a neat and tidy home with two toddlers and two dogs - plus doggie visitors on the regular! Thank you to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this portable carpet cleaner, it has been an amazing addition to my house. It was super easy to setup and figure out how to use. My first item I tackled was an ottoman we've had in my son's room for three years. There was a mysterious stain I wasn't sure how I was going to get out, but the Little Green HydroSteam Pet did the trick! In like five minutes! I've also tackled throw pillows that are spot clean only, chairs, and more. Of course my dog threw up on my brand new rug - I immediately went to get the cleaner and the throw up was gone - and the smell! My office is in an exterior building, so it was so handy to be able to carry this to my office to clean up quickly. I only wish it had a bigger adapter for a large area rug. And somewhere to store the adapters that are not attached to the hose.

I have two dogs at home who occassionally leave messes on the carpet. This product is nice because I can focus just on the stains without having to use a large cleaner, meant for the entire room. There were two pet stains in my family room that had been sitting for a couple weeks. The Little Green Hydrosteam Pet cleaner was able to break through those stains with just a couple passovers. Each stain took less than a minute to clean. The cleaning solution that came with the product smelled great and did not discolor the carpet. I am definitely looking forward to tackling some upholstery stains on my dining room chairs to get out years of stains and grime. Overall, I'm satisfied with the cleaning power and portability of the machine. I no longer have to pull out my fullsize carpet cleaner simply to clean up a small pet stain!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We recently received the Little Green HydroSteam Pet from Stellar Product Testing Panel to try out. We own an 60 lb dog that sheds constantly. The cleaner did an amazing job in removing dirt, fur, and other stains from my cars fabric seats. We also had some stains that were there for years that the cleaner was able to remove. It's not 100% gone but at least 80-90% which is incredible especially since we didn't pre-treat the area beforehand. The cleaner itself was easy to set up. It came with enough cleaning liquid to completely clean my car seats with a little bit left over.

Our house is full of mess makers-a 2-yo, a dog, two cats and a husband-and this machine does wonders. I used this to clean up spots on our couch and play room rug. The machine was easy and quick to use. My favorite part-the machine is so easy to clean out. Most carpet cleaners leave you a small opening to dump the dirty water from. This one opens completely! While this cleaner wouldn't be my go-to for a larger area rug, it's a definite YES for smaller areas. I even tried this out on a stain that I can tell you even how long it's been there. Voila! Took it right out. The spots on our couch dried quicker than I expected. It's compact, lightweight and effective!

I'm in the automotive detailing business and this product is fantastic it extracts really tough stains and seats carpets headliners side panels does a fabulous job I can only endorse it everyone that's a detailer out there for automobiles get this product it's fantastic and I only run distilled water in it so it doesn't build up any calcium buildup in the unit just a reminder great product this will makes the best product cleaning products out there today I couldn't be happier thank you Bissell and engineers of doing this wonderful fantastic powerful product. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the best carpet cleaner that I've used. It is super easy to use, multiple cleaning settings, lightweight and powerful! I've had hard to get out pet stains that I've spent months trying to remove. This did it within 5 minutes. My carpet no longer smells like cat urine and I feel safe to let my kids play on that area of the carpet again. It is very easy to set up and very user friendly to know which setting to use on what type of fabric type. I'm super impressed with the easy of use and powerfulness of this product. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After receiving the "Little Green Hydrosteam Pet"from Stellar Product Testing Panel, I was waiting for the perfect opportunity to present itself to use my new cleaning machine. I finally gave up waiting for a stain to appear and decided to use it on my stairs. Until receiving this product, I've only been able to spot treat stains on my stairs with spray cleaner and a cloth as my upright carpet shampooer is too wide to effectively clean them. The size of this machine is perfect to move up and down the stairs with. It is big enough to hold plenty of water to clean my whole set of stairs (8 steps), yet light enough to not be too weighted down. This machine is very compact and is not bulky or cumbersome. All features were designed to be very user-friendly. The hose is long enough to be able to shampoo at least 3 stairs before having to move it up/down. The hose and cord wrap up onto the machine for orderly storage. It is small enough to keep on a storage shelf and doesn't take up much more room than a slow cooker. All lids and caps are connected to the machine and just flip up/down, so there are no extra lids or pieces to keep track of. Two different hose attachments, are included, one is wider and used to clean a larger surface area, and the other is narrow (same width as the hose) to allow access to smaller/tighter spaces. After I began using the machine and throughly read the instructions, I realized I had many different uses for this little machine. The steam setting is great for cleaning new/superficial stains or sanitizing tile/grout floors. I actually gave this a shot and was able to pull a stain from a grout line in my bathroom that had been there for years. I had an oil based stain on my stairs and used the steam setting first to see how it did, and it appears to have completely removed the stain before ever adding the cleaning formula and cleaning the whole set of stairs. I'm so glad to add this machine to my cleaning arsenal.
