[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this portable carpet cleaner to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. The Little Green HydroSteam Pet was super easy to set up. When you took it out of the box, there was an intuitive quick start guide and instruction manual to help you learn the different functions of the cleaner. The experience with getting the vacuum ready to clean is seamless. Right away you notice the convenience of tool storage directly on the cleaner itself-a practical touch. Filling the water tank is also a simple process: unlatch it, add water, and some detergent, and you're good to go. The cleaner offers three settings: wash, steam, and a combination of both. The included instructions highlight which mode is ideal for different fabrics. The overall design of the product impressed me, with thoughtful placement of buttons and an optimal weight for ease of use. In steam mode, a small red indicator light informs you of when the steam was ready (about 30 seconds) which provides a helpful visual cue. I tested the wash mode on my front entrance area rug, which had some stubborn, embedded dirt. While it did make a noticeable difference, it's worth noting that this cleaner isn't intended for deep carpet cleaning. Covering an entire rug would require a significant amount of effort. Additionally, I tried the combination steam and wash mode on a section of our couch where our dog frequently rests. While the cleaner left the couch feeling fresh, it struggled to pick up pet hair. This was somewhat disappointing, considering the product's branding as a pet-specific cleaner. In summary, I would rate this product a 3 out of 5. It performs well for surface cleaning, but falls short in dealing with pet hair and isn't practical for anything beyond spot cleaning. As such, I'm uncertain how often I would take it out of the closet just for spot cleaning.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works so well on set in stains as well as pet accidents! The steam setting is great for getting those pesky annoying stains out. The only con is that pet hair clumps up and is left behind, it doesn't get vacuumed up. So easy to use and lightweight.

With a house that's mostly hardwood we have multiple area rugs that I normally just throw in the washer. I was excited to use the Little Green Hydrosteam Pet as an alternative to my normal method along with the new addition of finally being able to clean the carpet on my basement stairs! They were the first things I cleaned upon my Little Green Hydrosteam Pet's arrival. After trying it on various surfaces- carpet, area rugs, grout and tile, even pillows, I found it to be a little disappointing. While it took a recent red wine stain right out of my throw pillow and area rug, it did not lift set in dirt as I had hoped. Especially on the carpet of my stairs. I was hoping for more than just a surface level cleaning and one that provided a "like new" appearance.Because of that I will not be implementing this into my cleaning routine as I had hoped but it will be the first thing I reach for when a stain occurs. As a stain remover it's fantastic but as a cleaner I do not recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been a Bissell customer for 20+ years with a background in technology. This is not a well designed product. The Dirty tank is poorly designed and placed and leaks when handled. It does not clean better than the Green Machine despite saying it is 40% better. I really wanted this to be a great machine. I only used it once and will never use it again. So this became an expensive door stop. I read all the instructions and I do think the idea is a great idea but poorly executed. If Dyson ever gets into this market, Bissell beware, a well engineered product is all it will take to hurt your business. I am so sorry to write this because I do love Bissell products and how you love saving animals but you guys really have to pay attention to your quality control.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been on the market for an upholstery cleaner since I have two dogs and a cat. The dogs are definitely the messy ones so I have been in the marlet for something that can clean and sanitize be ause I can be OCD about cleaning and this was the answer. I was so impressed with the results! My boyfriend had a casper mattress that is probably 4-5 years old and it got out all the stains in the mattress. I also used it on my couches and it also dod an amazing job! The steam helps my OCD since I can't throw a KING mattress in a washer machine lol, this is definitely the next best thing. My boyfriend and I can are germaphobes so this machines is the answer and must have in the home. Product does the job, simply AMAZING!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used this steam cleaner a few times a week since I got it and I have loved it. It is perfect for spills on tile and carpet. I have a Newfoundland dog and 3 small kids and somehow no one has had any potty accidents since I got the cleaner, but I imagine it will be great for that too. We have had another small BISSELL portable carpet cleaner since we got our dog 6.5 years ago, so I was so excited to upgrade and I received the Little Green as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. We have used it on couches, rugs, carpet and in the bathroom on the tile around the toilet. It has worked wonderfully on all of those surfaces. There are no remnants of mess and it is pretty quick to clean small areas. I wouldn't recommend it for cleaning carpet or rugs as it is really meant for cleaning messes and cleaning a large area takes too long. The biggest things it works well for are couches and car interiors. I'm not stressed about messes because of this little machine. It was intuitive to set up and isn't intimidating to learn or use. 10/10 for me.

THIS MACHINE HAS A LOT OF HYPE ON YOUTUBE ABOUT HOW GOOD IT IS? RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX, THIS HAS NO STEAM, JUST SPITS WATER, NO SUCTION. IT DIDN'T EVEN SUCK ANY DIRTY WATER INTO THE TANK!! BISSELL WANTS TO REBUILD THIS PIECE OF JUNK FOR YOU, BUT I AM RETURNING MINE FOR A REFUND. VERY DISAPPOINTED AND SO WILL YOU BE! **GARBAGE**

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this portable carpet cleaner from the Stellar Product Testing Panel and was amazed how easy it was to spot clean my carpets and clean my sofa and lazy boy chair upholstery. This machine is the perfect size and weight for the job at hand. Opening the box, everything was neatly packaged and easy to set up. I didn't read the owner manual, instead I used the Quick Start guide to set up the machine and use it. The quick start guide has everything you need to begin cleaning. The Little Green Hydrosteam machine did an amazing job cleaning our sofa. The sofa is a light grey material and hadn't been cleaned in over 7 years. Using the Steam only mode, I was able to clean the sofa quickly and once done it look almost brand new. I was amazed how quickly the sofa dried. We had just one small stain on the carpet, red wine, and it was no match for the Little Green machine. Switching to Steam Wash mode, in less than 30 seconds the wine stain was gone. After use, clean up was very simple and straight forward with just a few parts to clean. Once dry, I reassembled the Little Green Machine and stored it away. Anybody with pets should own one of these as it does an amazing job of cleaning up spots quickly and efficiently.

I've gotten stains out of attached couch cushions and am truly disgusted by the color of the water. I also was able to save a fairly new area rug that my dog had diarrhea on. After vacuuming in wash mode I truly couldn't tell where she had pooped! There's a few things that would take this from really good to great. The steam could be hotter and have a wider spray area. This is really only good for very small areas/spot cleaning. Even doing something like a whole 5x7 rug would be very tedious (but not impossible). The attachments are an improvement on the original little green, but still kind of flimsy and feel like they will break within a few more uses. One big improvement they've made though is that you can more easily clean the attachments by taking them apart. Overall I recommend this product and I think they have been listening to customer feedback in product development. It does its job adequately and they are very close to making a 5 star product.

This is not the first Little Green Machine that I have used, and it likely won't be the last, but it might be my favorite of those I've used. For background, I have two kids that are six and three, two dogs, and a husband. Stains and spills are a typical occurrence in my life. My two favorite features of this steam cleaner are not cleaning related, but important because this machine gets a lot of use. The first thing I noticed about this machine is how light-weight it was. I would not say that I spend an ample amount of time weightlifting, so was appreciative that my noodle arms could easily lift and maneuver this machine. The second thing that I fell in love with was how QUIET this machine was. I can clean and still have a conversation with my husband without even raising my voice. I was able to set up the machine with ease. I appreciated the quick guide, but I didn't even need it. It was that easy. I used the machine in a variety of locations: basement carpet, rugs, stairs, and plush bedroom carpet. I found the steam feature to be extremely helpful in getting some of my tougher stains out, but found the water only feature to be most handy on set in stains. The only place I wanted to try the machine on that I ran out of time before needing to review was tile grout. I would be extremely interested to see how it would work for that application. I gave the Little Green Machine 4 stars only because I didn't find that it removed stains that well. That said, some of my stains were very set in, so I am willing to give it the benefit of the doubt. All-in-all, I was extremely pleased with the versatility, ease of use, and cleaning ability of this machine. I would definitely recommend it to my friends!
