I have been wanting to try one of these machines for awhile now. I have white furniture with 2 toddlers and 2 dogs so spills and stains are practically a daily occurrence. I have a large stand up carpet cleaner with hose attachment but I avoid using it because it is big, bulky and takes a lot of effort to use. The Little Green HydroSteam pet has quickly become my favorite cleaning appliance! It's not too heavy, compact and so easy to set up and use. From set up to use only takes about 3 minutes. I used this machine on everything including my bar stools, arm chairs, couch and rug. I was shocked at how effective it was at getting stains out. We're talking anything from marker, chocolate, dirt and strawberries. I mostly used the hydro steam setting. The steam was ready in 15-30 seconds. I was shocked at how much dirt was removed. I really love how versatile this machine is! You can use it on so many types of fabrics and surfaces and it does not damage. I can't recommend this product enough!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First thing I noticed was how simple it was to understand how to set it up and start it up! Second thing I noticed was how easy it was to use! This little steam cleaner was light weight enough to move around easily, and powerful enough to clean our most loved loveseat! The back of the couch is also the only place my cat will sleep these days!! The Little Green HydroSteam Pet was so powerful it made cleaning our comfy, but very dirty, loveseat a breeze! I used all of the attachments provided and was able to tackle the couch in a breeze. This once kinda stinky, kinda messy, kinda stained loveseat proved to be no match for the Little Green HydroSteam!! I was so motivated by the cleaning power, that I decided to try it out on our heavily trafficked area rug and it was just as powerful on those tough spots, as well overall cleaning power. I was, again, compelled to try it on another surface so I tried it on the shower tile. This was a bit disappointing, as I just did not have the smaller attachment to get in the corners. Outside of my failed shower tile cleaning, this has been my favorite home gadget to play with ever! I have tried it out on so many different surfaces - small kitchen rugs, throw pillows, car seats and car floors... this is just such a wonderful little machine! I think my only issue that came up was that the attachment area was so close to the steam button that I accidently kept unhooking the attachment head. After a dozen times doing this, I was able to hold it in a way that I could avoid doing this! I was given this portable carpet cleaner to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cleaner was effective at removing multiple stains on my living room carpet. i had to read the instructions a couple of times to understand all steps, and they could have been clearer - I had a couple of questions during and after that were not present. I liked that there were multiple settings based on the type of stain, and I tried to match my type to those provided in the instructions. The cleaner was lightweight and compact but it still felt study and I liked the design overall. I received this product as part of a Stellar Product Testing panel.

Steam is actually hotter than boiling water, hence the reason it actually chemically separates and goes from a liquid to a gas form. In any case, it's supposed to be hot. Whatever this thing is doing the "steam" is cold and whatever cleaning properties bissell markets it having, it cannot possess. It otherwise functions like their other spot cleaners where you honestly have to massively pretreat old stains and vacuum them several times. Their steam setting is just a gimmick.

The machine itself is very portable, with the cord control feature you don't dread going to the closet to get it out to solve a mess or rejuvenate some drapery or upholstery. The quick guide that comes with the machine is extremely informative and all you need in order to get started with utilizing the machine. My first order of business was to tackle our living room rug. This rug gets the brunt of the household traffic, therefore mystery spots and darker traffic areas show a lot more throughout the week. Following the quick guide, I input the instructed amount of solution/water ratio and got started on spot cleaning the rug. It worked tremendously. We have a cat, therefore you could see the machine working before your eyes while the cat hair was being sucked up and filtered during the cleaning process. The rug looks brand new! The next area I tackled was the couch -- the upholstery needs a bit of a rejuvenation every once in a while and that is exactly what the Little Green HydroSteam Pet was able to provide. I can't wait to make this part of the normal cleaning routine to ensure our furniture lasts many additional years. My favorite feature of the machine is that it is so compact and doesn't take up a lot of storage space. The cord management system and the wrap around hose allows easy storage and ease of grabbing to utilize.

While I don't have any pets, I have hard wood floors with lots of different types of rugs that I wanted to be able to clean as well as it be versatile enough for other upholstery as needed. The machine was super easy to set up and directions were very clear so I could use it right away. Was able to get the purple stain out of my carpet easily and because of its size, can easily store and pull out as needed. This is an absolute must if you have a child, pet or messy husband. I received this item through the Stellar Testing Panel and I'm so glad because I don't think I would have expected to get so much use out of it. I've seen other friends using it with their pets and loving it so I couldn't wait to try it! I was so impressed with how easy it was to set up with the quick guide and the instructions were so clear and easy to understand. It definitely feels like the perfect tool to keep on hand for when we have little messes around the house with three kids and two dogs! I've only had a chance to use it on our rug to the backyard so far but I loved the powerful suction and the steam clean capabilities and the fact that it only takes 30 seconds to start steaming is great for me! I would definitely recommend this product to friends and family with little kids or pets because it will be convenient to store and take out and use in a pinch!

It needs more clearance, I was hoping Bissell had feet or wheels for it but they don't. Although it looks like it has slots for some, maybe in the near future?
