Fooled me

I will never purchase another HP Printer or peripheral again. With their anti-consumer attitude of off brand toner cartridges affecting the factory warranty, this is the final nail. The printer worked fine initially. Printing clarity and color has disapated steadily over the last year. Doesn't matter what type of connection to the printer that I have. Also, be leary of the firmware updates.

First set up and usage is great

I've only been using for two days but so far everything is working great. Printing, copying and scanning functions all work well. I found the HP software intuitive and easy to use which seems to be a complaint for others but I'm in IT and have lived through multiple generations of HP products.

Incredibly Pleased

Watched this printer for 3 months before ordering. Read reviews on multiple sites. It's up and running around a month now. I couldn't be more satisfied. I've had Epson, Brother and HP printers over the years and only HP has been consistent. My B&W HP laser printer still works like it did on day one: Back in 2008. This printer's instructions leave something to be desired if you're not the least bit familiar with computers. Otherwise it isn't a biggie. People complained about the noise. That's not important to me. It's fast, excellent print quality, big touchscreen that's very responsive, easily connected with Wi-Fi and USB--what can I say other than I LOVE IT! And I got it on sale!!!

Not recommended scan feature is marginal

I bought this printer 6 weeks ago. I do not like the scan feature on it. I continually have to shut the printer down and restart it in order to be able to scan to my computer. Scanning is some thing I frequently do this is very annoying to me. Because of this I do not recommend purchasing this this HP Color Laser Jet Pro MFP3301CDW. It also seems to use a lot more laser ink than my old brother copier. Three stars is very generous overall rating.

Temperamental Printer

The 1st purchase of this printer needed to be returned/exchanged within a week due to multiple "fail" issues that could not be resolved after 90 minutes chatting with HP support. Buy the warranty! I was able to return at no expense & a new one was shipped out using the Sam's Club return process but I lost a week being able to complete tasks in my home office - the only reason I purchased the printer was to not have to commute to the office for basic printing needs. The new printer is printing but I've concluded this model is temperamental. The print quality is great but when you first set the printer up, the set up instructions are extremely basic. Be prepared to "Google" troubleshooting issues such as the printer not printing in full color (even after printing the test page). There's a cumbersome way to change the settings that took a "HP Forum" I found on Google to fix, and I've had to unplug to reset the printer more than once to be back to 100% (including the scan feature). Be sure to have about 1/2 a day to work out the kinks if this printer is your choice,

Locked in to HP

Dynamic security enabled printer - this means you're forever stuck buying HP Toner for this. Its a laser so you should probably never buy OEM toner and just go get refilled ones and save 75% of the cost. This printer isn't worth it.

other options available

Scanned once. The scanning software is the worst I have used. This is like win95 bad. Not worth the effort to replace. Getting a refund and calling it a day.

Constant connection issues and printer failures. So frustrating.
