Had an issue with the detergent drawer quickly after (don't open the drawer with the main door open as it can break). LG sent a replacement drawer within a couple of days of my service request. Been very pleased with the washer features and performance.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this just over two months ago and it's been a good washing machine with one caveat...it almost presses wrinkles into what is being washed. Pros: The wifi/app is nice. I appreciate the notification when loads are done rather than remembering to set a timer elsewhere or listening for the tone It absolutely gets things cleaner than even the last LG washer we had (for 12 years!) It's generally pretty quiet It's larger than the last one and handled a King comforter without issue. Cons: We have noticed that we have to use the absolute lowest spin cycle or even a hand steamer can't always get the wrinkles out. I have to trust that the steam function works because it's not obvious when it's happening. Setting up the wifi took 4 attempts which I think is excessive. I'm a network nerd and it isn't obvious which MAC address is the washer and which is the dryer for me to set a static IP address (this is a personal issue that I just have to deal with, most people won't care). Overall it's a good machine.

Washing pool towels is so quick and easy and we can wash them all in one load. The washer is extremely quiet and a HUGE difference from our previous washer. We love that we can see the timer and know when the load will be done. We feel spoiled with this washer and recommend this to anyone who wants to make life a lot easier!

We did some research on Consumer Reports and decided we wanted to purchase an LG washer/dryer pair. At our local appliance store, we found the model we were most interested in and purchased it during a sale. So far, a great purchase.

Had it now for about 45 days and can't stop being amazed. The download cycles feature allows for unlimited uses for all types of clothes. The capacity is huge and it is much quieter and quieter than our previous unit. The monthly maintenance is easy and not as intimidating as it may seem, but I would recommend a larger bowl than the small one they recommend when performing. Highly recommend this product.

I was afraid that the machines would be too complicated to use, but the controls are intuitive. We made the right choice!

The direct drive is great and the turbo wash is a must have. I do wish there was a way to increase the volume of the notifications. Other than that it’s a great washer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Worth the wait to get this washer. With all the wash features, you can wash all manner of household linens, from delicates and sweaters to bulky bedding and get a superb clean while being gentle on your items.

I can wash a lot more towelry at once, an big improvement from my old washer. Functions well; seems to use the right amount of water (enough). Love the exra-rinse setting, for those times when I use a lot of detergent. I have no interest in the WiFi connection. Wishes for improvement: - would like to be able to turn of the WiFi signal. It's annoying, takes up WiFi bandwidth from my computer setup. - would like a backlight for the display. I had to put an extra light across from the washer/dryer in order to read the displays.

It is easy to use and has many options for wash, rinse, and spin cycles. My washables all seem cleaner and ready for the drier at the end of the cycles. We are really pleased with our choice!
