We did some research on Consumer Reports and decided we wanted to purchase an LG washer/dryer pair. At our local appliance store, we found the model we were most interested in and purchased it during a sale. So far, a great purchase.

So many functions to handle all the different types of loads, i.e. towels, rugs, delicates, permanent press. The dryer also has many features so you can chose temperature to prevent wrinkles.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a front load washer in the past and loved the efficiency, but hated the design of the interior rubber seal that invited mold and mildew. LG has fixed this problem with a great rubber ring design, easy to dry off in between loads. My clothes smell clean and fresh again, not moldy and musty.

I am delighted it does not shake at all, even when i washed bathroom area rugs. Before we could tell when the washer was on by how the house shook. However, not all combinations work together. I wish I could choose each option separately (water temp, extra rinse, etc.).I especially want extra rinse on normal loads.

I love getting notifications on my phone when cycles are finished and the emails reminding me that a cleaning cycle needs to be run is really helpful. Highly recommended!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our old LG washer died so we had to get a replacement. This new washer is awesome. Drum is bigger than the old model but takes up the same amount of floor space. New washer is quieter than the old one. Best feature is the spin cycle. It removes most of the water. Washed items come out feeling damp rather than wet like the old model. Drying time is reduced significantly. We love our new LG Washer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this unit as a replacement for a 10 year old front load LG washer that had a good run but needed to be replaced. This new unit has about 30% better capacity than the old unit for about the same footprint. With the old unit, washing a queen comforter was out of the question but could be easily accomplished in this unit. This new unit is quiet, has a steam feature and the connectivity to the app, while not essential, is useful. Highly recommend.

I have had this washer for 3 weeks now and it works really good. There are lots of settings and it was easy to connect to to the app. I’m still learning all the functions and options that come with the app. I’m sure I’ll like it even more once I really learn what all it can do.

From washing and drying heavy bedding, husbands golf clothes , delicates, even hats , clothing comes out clean and perfect .
