[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used to replace a very similar 15-year-old LG washer. My old LG washer needed to be replaced. The WM4000HBA was very similar in features and capacity. Have had it about 3 weeks and like it. It is quieter than the old model, and provides a lot more feedback as to what it is doing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are glad we chose this machine. We do lots of loads a week and this machine stands up to the task. Washes really well. Had a small issue day one, and LG sent down a technician to fix right away which was really great.

I hate it!!! Directions aren't specific. Can't see the light which indicates what cycle you are on. Every cycle except a couple indicates it takes 29 minutes. Have to try setting it at least 3 times before a reasonable time comes up. It takes me from 5 - 15 minutes to get a load to start actually washing

This is my second LG laundry set. The engineering in this set is astounding, and it has improved greatly over the set I bought ten years ago. The turbo wash feature makes so much sense, and I have been waiting for this. It solves the problem of the load taking so much time to get completely saturated when it starts; a problem that seems inherent to tilted-axis washers. So now you get the advantage of the tilted axis without the old disadvantage. The direct-drive washing action is well thought-out. The washer is quiet, attractive, and spins so fast that the dryer is almost and afterthought. Buy this washer!

It not only was an amazing washing machine, we had no maintenance problems the entire time. When we did have an issue we decided after 15 years of doing laundry for a family of 8, it was time for a new washer. The new washer is a bit of a learning curve after having a reliable product for so many years. Been pretty happy with the new washer so far, although, I still miss my old machine. These things take time.

At my previous residence I had a LG washer and dryer for years and let be them so much that I truly wanted No other brand for my new place. LG is dependable and has great feature choices to choose from ni matter what you are washing.

Cleans well and has plenty of options for choosing load requirements; water temperature, spin, Rinse and Spin, Turbo Wash, etc. We have not used the Smart Features yet. The Turbo Wash is nice as it cuts down washing time but the clothes still come out clean and are not wrapped and tangled together like a top loading machine. We had to special order this machine and during the time we waited for it to come in, we had to use the local Laundry Mat. We brought the wet clothes/towels home and used our LG dryer to dry them. The lint from the clothes and towels by using this machine (or our previous Samsung front loader that served us well for 11 years) has been easily less then 20X the amount of lint on the lint screen, as compared to what we saw on our dryer lint screen after having used the top loader at the Laundry Mat and then drying those clothes and towels in our home dryer. (Note: The Laundry Mat top loader had been rated the highest as one if the highest for top loaders by Consumer Reports.) Front loaders are so GENTLE on the clothes! I have also washed bulkier items on the bedding cycle and they come out clean and the machine has not jumped around on the floor during the Spin cycle. Do not use too much detergent, especially with bulkier items, or else you will be using the Rinse and Spin Cycle to get the soap residue out of the items and also from inside the door! No complaints so far on this beautiful machine!

Of course I bought another LG set because of their reliability. I sell appliances for a living and this is the brand I tell customer is the best! My wm3600 is quiet and has all the function I need.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've had this unit for about a month and we're still amazed at how quiet it is. The quick wash with an extra rinse does well on quite a few of our loads. I had heard good things about LG's washers from some of my co-workers so we opted to try one when our 11yr old unit disintegrated. We have a large family, so it will get a lot of use. It will be interesting to see how it holds up. The only thing that we wish it had that we miss from our old unit is that it doesn't give an ETA when selecting most cycles. It needs to go through

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Some of the cycles are not clear. In the instruction manual needs to be written more clearly. For example, Steam and Allergiene mean? Also, it needs too much maintenance. I never know if I have dried it sufficiently.
