When my old LG washer reached the point where repairing it was no longer an option, I purchased this Front Load LG Washer and the performance, quality and features exceeded my expectations. Doing laundry is so much easier and doing laundry with this washer is very exonomical.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this washer with the matching dryer. The versatility is very fascinating with cycles for just about every imaginable situation. My only complaint is that communication with the app is not always reliable. It does not always alert me when a cycle is done. One little bit of advice on placement - the washer door opens to the left, the dryer door to the right (but can be switched). If possible, place the dryer to the right of the washer for easy transfer of your load.

If you use the app you can get alert for when it finishes...almost a must a the signal sound is extremely weak and you won't hear it if you not already in front of it.

The only problem I had was they were unable to hook up the machine because my valves were bad and I have to replace them. Other than that it's great. I haven't had them to long, but so far so good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This LG 4000 is my third washer in 9 months. I had 2 new Whirlpools that stopped working 3 months each time. UGH!! Bought this one May 25....and it works and is QUIET. Love the turbo wash cycle. It cleans your clothes in 40 minutes. Bought the pedestal as well. If you need a washer, then buy LG.

Washer was purchased in December 2020. A sensor that is attached to the motor went out about 3 years later. I was glad that the motor was still under warranty, but if it goes out again in another 3 years, it will not be under warranty and I'll have to pay for a new motor. I expect appliances to last more than 3 years. We'll see how things go with the new motor.

I am amazed by the efficiency of this washing machine. It is much faster and appears to me to be overall a much better washer than the one I loved from 8 years ago. I recommend 100%. I have not had time to use all the freatures yet, but I don't anticipate issues.

Great cleaning ablity with use of less soap, bleach and softener. I purchased this washer as it was the best available of the stock on hand at my dealer. Only problem is the operation of the machine requires some one who is extremely versed in operating a computer. It should be pointed out that I am 81 and my Grandson would love the operational aspect of this machine only problem he is 2300 miles away and can not give any assistance.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had the washer for two weeks. Uses a minimal amount of water and detergent but gets the cloths really clean! Much cleaner than the top loader it replaced. The controls are a bit intimidating and you really need to download the operators manual to get the most out of the machine. Overall well pleased with the purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far we’ve had these a month and they’re great. The washing machine has more features than we could possibly use. We mostly use the speed wash and it’s comes in at 15 min and the spin cycle is very quiet. The only noise you hear is in the beginning when the jets are spraying. Those were louder than expected but not loud enough to be annoying. The troubleshooting feature with the app is amazing. We bought these after having Whirlpool Duets for 8 years and couldn’t get away from them fast enough. Both machines are very quiet and look great which was a factor to us since our laundry room is in the house.
