[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've just completed 30 washes, and the reason I know that is the app reminded me that it was time to run a tub clean cycle. After some initial issues getting my washer connected to the WiFi, I was able to connect and that part works great. As far as the washer, I love it. There are a lot of different settings and options. I think I use less detergent and my clothes are cleaner. I also think the regular spin cycle cuts down on my drying time. I switched from a top loading machine to this model and I'm glad I did. There's a little extra maintenance to this machine (wiping it down after I'm finished with laundry). I really like this machine and I really enjoy the app feature. So far, no mildew smells and my clothes come out clean and fresh.
Good cleaning, large capacity
I've only done a few loads, but it seems to be working fine. The door is large, so it is a litfle hard to reach around it to load and unload. (It's against a wall and facing the dryer.) It is quiet and spins the clothing really dry. I prefer analog controls to the computerized, but I no longer have a choice in the matter. The many wash cycle options seem unnecessary when you could just have selection buttons to choose temp, time, spin speed, etc.

No customized settings
You customize a wash cycle on this machine or in the app. It chooses every function for you. It's honestly unbelievable you can't set your own wash cycle. I never would have bought this washer if I knew that. In addition, their app to control the device takes so much personal data including the last website you visited.

Already leaking dE1 code. Repair guy come out.
I have only had my washier since Aug 1 2024. I have only used it 10 times went on vacation until Oct 1.And already stopped working leaking from a hose that has a inch cut. A code dE1 that means my door is open but it's not. The part the teach said is hot to the touch is behind where the door hitch click to tell the machine the door is close. That went bad and was hot to touch. Not cool. LG won't give me a new washier. So that is why I'm give it a 1 star. It's a no star for me. I was told by so many people and family not to buy a LG. They are pieces of poop. But I didn't listen and now I'm having to wait weeks to get parts in. Just give me a new washier please.

Literally Stinks
Literally stinks - world great, great features. But had a musty, rubbery smell from when the factory wrapping was removed. Twice spent 1/2 hours on Chat with LG and got cut off both times with the no follow up? Both times they said probably hooked up wrong with drain hose, etc. And finally convinced it smelled when unwrapped before even connecting to anything. Then they wanted me to hire a plumber to check out?? Both times communication stopped before a Next Step?

It appears the odor might be linked to the materials or packaging rather than the installation process. We are here to help you troubleshoot this without unnecessary steps, such as hiring a plumber. There are several cleaning methods and adjustments available that could help eliminate the smell, and we're ready to guide you through them. A rubber or burning smell in an LG washing machine can originate from different sources, including new inlet hoses that can emit a strong rubber odor, a V-shaped pump belt in top load washers that should be inspected, buildup in the detergent and softener dispenser, or moisture accumulation due to inadequate ventilation. To address the musty smell, you can try running a wash cycle with a mixture of ¼ cup baking soda and ¼ cup water in the detergent container, along with four cups of white vinegar for top-load machines or two cups for front-load models, running a high-temperature cycle afterward. It's quiet, spacious, cleans very well, takes less time than predecessor, isn't too expensive, and it's easy to use. Setup was no problem and we even like its various purring, humming noises. The dark glass front doesn't allow us to view its operation but it doesn't seem to mind. Assuming reliability matches this opening gambit, we think was have a winner. Bravo!
Quality Washer!

Its cleans our clothes efficiently and pretty fast I might add. We love that you can see how much time is left on the app and you can quickly diagnose and fix any problems using the app as well! This washer is a must have if you are looking for a quality washer!!!
So quiet and fast cycle
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have owned an LG washer and dryer for the past 12 years and when I moved to a new place, I left that pair for my son. I knew I would buy another LG washer and dryer based on a long run with the original pair with no issues. I have washed several loads so far with my washer and the first thing I noticed is that it is so quiet. Then I noticed how quickly it runs through a cycle, and I have washed towels and clothes. It rings the clothes very well and it takes my Tide pod with no issues. I just throw the pod in the barrel not in the dispenser (very important). So far, very happy with my purchase. Plus it's a very attractive machine. Haven't used the Wifi yet, but will get that set up soon.
Cleans so well

Lingering perfume and deodorant scents were not left behind, and the clothes really feel clean. I'm looking forward to utilizing all the different cycle options.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The best! I throw everything in. I use to go to the laundry mat with my comforters, pillows, etc.. Not anymore. Everything fits! And washes nice and clean. Very happy with my new LG washer and dryer!! And the WiFi is great too. I can be upstairs and see if the washer, or dryer have finished washing or drying with the LG app on my phone! So cool!
