I can’t say enough about both LG Washer and Dryer combination. So many wash cycles to choose from when using the LG app. Thus is my second set, one for home, and one for vacation home. Both get used frequently with constant visitors and I’ve never had any issues. I love that my dryer has a steam cycle to assist in removing any wrinkles that remain in clothing. The pedestal accessory is great, extra laundry basket inside can hold washed or dried clothing or use for storage for cleaning products. Engineers thought of everything. Thank you, you’ve made my life so much easier

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used for a month so far, it's still pretty efficient. I like how it connects with the app to notify me when a load is done. I like the different wash options and the built-in intelligence to make sure the load is washed thoroughly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Although it runs very quietly and seems to be well made, it is tearing up my clothes. The steam will ruin any elastic in clothes. The normal cycle eats them up. I have to wash all my clothes on bedding or delicate settings in which the machine stops to soak the clothes as part of the wash to keep them from being ate up hopefully. They do not get rinsed and I have to take them out and rinse in two 5 gallon buckets full of water and put them back in to "rinse" and spin them. The machine adds water a little at a time because it weighs the clothes and by the time it is finished it's time to empty the machine! I wish so much I knew this before I bought it. I am so sorry for this bad review but I am trying to keep others from making the same mistake. I have had other LG products that are great and this washer is well made but it is a big mistake.

I've had this washer for just 2 months, but discovered it will leak (a lot) if too much detergent is used, and "too much" is less than the amount indicated as "max." If it's this fussy about the amount of detergent, then the machine should be doing the measuring; I shouldn't have to guess.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this unit to replace a GE Pro top loading washer which was only 6 years old and the internals imploded resulting in gravel like pieces inside the wash basin. Costs to repair this item were extremely high and given age, we decided to bite the bullet and replace the broken GE washer and its companion dryer We had prior experience with LG washers in our prior residence and knew their quality and reliability. Hence LG was a logical choice to replace the GE product. We really appreciated the counsel and advise of the sales consultant at Rosner's Appliances (West Palm Beach, FL) which reviewed with us the options for LG, Samsung, and other washers. We decided on LG based on the features and various selection options available. We particularly liked its feature for remote diagnostics as well as the ability to design and download custom wash cycles to meet our needs. The appliance was delivered in just a few days and the installers took care in setting the equipment up including mounting it on the pedestal, leveling device, checking it worked, etc. We have really enjoyed using the machine which seems to handle large loads without resistance. the manual which accompanies the machine is simplistic and for more details you can download a much more comprehensive manual online from the LG website.

I am very pleased with WH400HWA washer I does what is says. The deliver company lied that we were not home. So we sat home for three days not a great start. The soap dispenser has a faulty design. Need to remember not to open it all the way. We have the cleanest floor for all the messes I cleaned up it because it dumps all the soap on the floor I have saved much money not using bleach. Not because we don"t need it, when we do we have bleach spots our clothes. We love our washer I just need some learning

The door lock feature is highly annoying. It stays locked far too long. And sometimes, even when you're putting in another load, once you re-close the door, it locks again. Tonight I forgot to put the pod in, did not hit start, just tried to reopen--nope, locked again. The idea that the "fix" for this is to unplug it is unacceptable. I'd have to be a contortionist to the reach the plug in our washer closet. Also the door STAYS locked long after the lock light is out, which if memory serves is in the owner's manual. Not sure why they would ever put out a washer that they know does that.

I purchased this to replace another LG washing machine. Specs were on par. I wish I had read the reviews before purchasing. The drain hose is too short, installers had to completely reconfigure my laundry room in an attempt to connect. I am not happy and advise everyone against purchasing this machine due to false information from LG.
