[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this new washer in May 2024. It has worked flawlessly and it is very dependable. This new washer is an improvement over the other LG washer is have or had as they have correct the issue of water hammer from the fast closing water valves. Great improvement.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was not expecting to purchase a washer, but when my washer of 17 tears decided to die, I was left to researching for a replacement. I’m extremely pleased with this replacement. I actually feel that the clothes are cleaner. There are features that I’ll never use that the younger folks will enjoy. I’m quite pleased with this front load washer.

Love the size and look and function of this machine. It requires extra effort to keep the door and its seal dry and prevent a musty odor in the drum. We are currently drying the door’s window and seal with a towel and leaving the door wide open overnight each time we wash. We weren’t expecting this inconvenience. Really like the way it pairs with the dryer to automatically select a dry setting.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What I like: This machine cleans really well. It spins the clothes quite dry. FIVE STARS for this. What I don't like: (1) The User Interface on this machine is horrid. Turn it on and lights flash around the cycle dial.Distracting, useless 'feature'. The light stops on 'normal' cycle. But then you have to click it once to activate that cycle. And, you must SLOWLY turn it to switch between cycles. Push buttons would be better, faster and more functional for someone doing several loads of laundry. ONE STAR (or ZERO) (2) Downloadable wash cycles. ONE cycle. Only one. And you cannot change the installed cycle programs. Default water temp on Perm Press, Normal, other cycles seesm to be either Cold or Warm. Never tap cold. So I was going to log in and reconfigure the standard cycles to all start at Tap Cold. Not possible. ZERO STARS. This 'feature' is useless. (3) Delay option: I like this. Would like to be able to set for 15 minutes or 30 minutes. Not possible. Only sets at whole hours. Also, not programmable. TWO STARS. (4) No 'soak' cycle. Yes, I can do this by setting a wash cycle, then stopping the machine for a while before rinse. Having 'soak' cycle would not require manual intervention. Also, 'soak' is not a downloadable option. ZERO STARS. (5) The panel on the right for selecting options is hard to read - get rid of the flashing lights on cycle selection knob and backlight the option selection panel. ONE STAR.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great features and works great. It’s also very intuitive to use! I just hope it lasts longer than our last washer! I am trusting the warranty and trying this LG brand based on research, reviews and warranty! So far we LOVE it!

I am in the process of installing the washer, but the drain hose is much shorter than in the LG product pictures. Be aware, you may need an extension hose. Also, if stacking a dryer on top...the electric cord for the dryer is very short and will only extend 2 feet beyond the bottom of the dryer. If your outlet is low on the wall it may not reach when stacked.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've had a LG front loader washer for a few months now and so far we're happy with the product. There was a slight learning curve coming from a simpler washer but once you get the hang of it, it's simple to use. Even my 10 year old helps us with our wash. Here are a few benefit/features that stand out about this LG washer. 1. Alerts me when the wash is done, so no more wet clothes forgotten in the washer 2. Uses very little detergent 3. Machine runs very quiet 4. Very nice simple design, the rose gold trim is a nice touch. 5. Bunch of preset cycle to make things easier. If you don't see a wash cycle for your clothes you could even download one from the app. 6. The most important thing, clothes comes out clean and fresh.

Put an order of LG washer online on April 22, and it was said that it will ne delivered by May 9. Made several to Sams and LG, be told it was delayed and scheduled to deliver on May 29. May 29, no phone call or messages or email tell me the exact time to deliver. Afternoon called LG again and was told it was already delivered. Are you kidding me? I am working out of home, and it was delivered? When back home, a notice from Hub Group told me they tried to deliver at 10:40am, of course, they missed me because i am working. And give a 800 number to call for reschedule. But tried to call this customer service number several times, only Heard music no human. Sams, LG and Hub group kicked ball each other, never solved it till now. DON'T ordered LG washer from Sam's club online. So bad experience.

I was unhappy with this washer at first due to the amount of soap it leaves in the clothes when only one rinse cycle is used (the default, likely a requirement for the 'Energy Star Most Efficient' rating), Fortunately, it has a dedicated button that lets you add rinse cycles. Some programs allow 2 extra, and others 3. When extra rinses are selected, there is a mini spin cycle between rinses, and the turbo water jet feature is used to wet the load. Sometimes a small amount of suds are left after the extra cycles, but it is minimal.
