There was a slight learning curve coming from a simpler washer but once you get the hang of it, it's simple to use. Even my 10 year old helps us with our wash. Here are a few benefit/features that stand out about this LG washer. 1. Alerts me when the wash is done, so no more wet clothes forgotten in the washer 2. Uses very little detergent 3. Machine runs very quiet 4. Very nice simple design, the rose gold trim is a nice touch. 5. Bunch of preset cycle to make things easier. If you don't see a wash cycle for your clothes you could even download one from the app. 6. The most important thing, clothes comes out clean and fresh.

Love the size and look and function of this machine. It requires extra effort to keep the door and its seal dry and prevent a musty odor in the drum. We are currently drying the door’s window and seal with a towel and leaving the door wide open overnight each time we wash. We weren’t expecting this inconvenience. Really like the way it pairs with the dryer to automatically select a dry setting.

I was unhappy with this washer at first due to the amount of soap it leaves in the clothes when only one rinse cycle is used (the default, likely a requirement for the 'Energy Star Most Efficient' rating), Fortunately, it has a dedicated button that lets you add rinse cycles. Some programs allow 2 extra, and others 3. When extra rinses are selected, there is a mini spin cycle between rinses, and the turbo water jet feature is used to wet the load. Sometimes a small amount of suds are left after the extra cycles, but it is minimal.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was not expecting to purchase a washer, but when my washer of 17 tears decided to die, I was left to researching for a replacement. I’m extremely pleased with this replacement. I actually feel that the clothes are cleaner. There are features that I’ll never use that the younger folks will enjoy. I’m quite pleased with this front load washer.

Love how many features this has and working it from my phone uses low amounts of water and rings the clothes out till they practically dry dry. It will also handle two full sets of king bedsheets pillowcases if only our installation crew that delivered had been better.

First day with new LG washer and dryer, replacing my 16 year old cobalt blue set. I am very happy! Did 3 loads in less time that it used to take me to do 1 load! Quiet wash cycle AND spin cycle. The spin cycle on my old machine made the house vibrate! Controls easy to use and easy to see. Bigger opening and drum than last washer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Old top loader was just not doing it's job anymore. Spin cycle left clothes sopping wet. This new front loader does an excellent job on wash AND spin. An added feature is the wifi which alerts your phone when the cycle is finished. No more running to basement to check on cycle only to find it's not. It even gives a 5 minute heads up (can be turned off). Would I buy again? YES! In a heartbeat.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A replacement for our overworked 10 year old that needed costly repairs. Cyclea cycles shorter run times, yea! It does have an industrial sounding motor which is a bit concerning, so we're monitoring that. Otherwise happy with our replacement.

I did extensive research before purchasing and went with this model because of the great reviews. That was a mistake. I have had the washer for less than a month. The clothes are soaking wet at the end of the cycle. I have to run a separate spin cycle after every load and they are still too wet to put in the dryer. Often times there is standing water in the bottom of of tub. The unit was professionally installed less than a month ago so I do not believe it is an issue with the drain hose. I have followed all of the trouble shooting steps and the issue persists. I do like the app and some of the features, but I regret not sticking with the brand I used to own.
