[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the WM4000HWA washer to replace a Maytag that had failed. I didn't expect this to be such an upgrade but it was. Although, I only have been using it for a short 2 weeks, it has been amazing. The turbo mode is a must have, the cycle is literally minutes, it leave the clothes clean and dry. This is my first LG but won't be my last. If you are on the fence, don't hesitate, this machine is spectacular.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This washer has been in my home since February 2020. I did some research and this washer consistently came in with great reviews. The sales people at two different companies also recommended the washer over others. So far I am very happy with the machine. I had my plumber do the hookup and I immediately noticed a severe water hammer when the machine took water in. It seems the valve in the machine closes quickly thus causing a water hammer and vibration through my plumbing system. Needless to say, no bueno. I researched online and it appears that this is a well known issue. To be honest I was upset. I had just spent major beans and the machine was going to launch my plumbing. The plumber came back, anchored the feed lines better and put water hammer arrestors on the cold and hot feed. Bueno. The water hammer issued resolved. Now I don’t even hear the thing running. So keep this in mind but I got to say they are really nice machines. My clothes and linens have NEVER been this clean. My aunt even bought th3 same model after my purchase.

It is not noisy and even though programs seems to be longer than the old one (old, old washer), it's far most efficient a versatile. I love the App telling me proactively when to clean the tube or the overall sanity check it does. Very helpful !

I absolutely love the fact the I get to adjust every wash to cater to whatever items I’m washing at the time which is super helpful because some clothes need more TLC than others! My best purchase this far!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Although it runs very quietly and seems to be well made, it is tearing up my clothes. The steam will ruin any elastic in clothes. The normal cycle eats them up. I have to wash all my clothes on bedding or delicate settings in which the machine stops to soak the clothes as part of the wash to keep them from being ate up hopefully. They do not get rinsed and I have to take them out and rinse in two 5 gallon buckets full of water and put them back in to "rinse" and spin them. The machine adds water a little at a time because it weighs the clothes and by the time it is finished it's time to empty the machine! I wish so much I knew this before I bought it. I am so sorry for this bad review but I am trying to keep others from making the same mistake. I have had other LG products that are great and this washer is well made but it is a big mistake.

Impressive. I had an LG front loader that was over 16 years old and finally bit the dust. (loved it too) So I replaced like with like that is a bit bigger than the prior one. However, this one does have a musty smell even with leaving the door open. This did not happen with my original but I am still pleased with my purchase

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this unit to replace a GE Pro top loading washer which was only 6 years old and the internals imploded resulting in gravel like pieces inside the wash basin. Costs to repair this item were extremely high and given age, we decided to bite the bullet and replace the broken GE washer and its companion dryer We had prior experience with LG washers in our prior residence and knew their quality and reliability. Hence LG was a logical choice to replace the GE product. We really appreciated the counsel and advise of the sales consultant at Rosner's Appliances (West Palm Beach, FL) which reviewed with us the options for LG, Samsung, and other washers. We decided on LG based on the features and various selection options available. We particularly liked its feature for remote diagnostics as well as the ability to design and download custom wash cycles to meet our needs. The appliance was delivered in just a few days and the installers took care in setting the equipment up including mounting it on the pedestal, leveling device, checking it worked, etc. We have really enjoyed using the machine which seems to handle large loads without resistance. the manual which accompanies the machine is simplistic and for more details you can download a much more comprehensive manual online from the LG website.

Unfortunately it doesn’t include an instruction manual and you need to go online to figure out how to use it. Also if you close the door after your wash is done, it will smell mildewed. Some machines offer a feature that avoids this.

It has been remarkably reliable, devoid of any operational issues. The washing process is remarkably efficient, and the machine operates with minimal noise. The sole exception to this positive experience is the absence of a drum light. This oversight by LG is a notable deficiency. Despite this minor inconvenience, I wholeheartedly recommend this washing machine. Notably, its cleaning capabilities surpass those of my previous top-load Speed Queen washer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We just purchased our Washer & like the Dryer we also purchased, so far so good. It is so quiet that I often forget it is running, we love that! Can't give it a 5-star as of yet but we hope to when we have had it for a while and see. What I would change is the lighting in the display because it is very difficult to read the print, the lighting appears next to your selection but if you can't see what you're selecting it actually defeats the purpose of any lighting.
