[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this over a month ago and notice that on all settings with the exception of the Highest Spin level or the Sanitary wash cycle, my clothes retain more water than they did with my old LG front load washing machine. I had to replace my 2013 LG front load washer recently and I purchased the equivalent model LG front load washer and am noticing this less than satisfactory issue with water extraction.

I have three teen boys and a husband that gets their clothes really dirty either from working or playing.I didn't think my old washer was cleaning and I was right. It is also easy for the boys to use, making my washing less.

I am dealing with my second LG washer that has failed to perform. The first was purchased in 2018. It required two repairs over its short life. After a third repair that became necessary it was replaced with a new washer in 2021. The first purchase was done without an extended warranty and the cost of repairs was approaching the cost of a new machine. The machine purchased in 2021 was accompanied by the purchase of an extended warranty. The first breakdown came within the first year and a half. the second probably a year after that and now dealing with the third breakdown. This time the repairman has visited four times and each time discovers another part that is required. The length without which I have had working is now slightly longer than three (3) months. This is an untenable by any standard. I bought the same machine twice and both machines had issues. LG does not have the appropriate quality control to provide a decent, purchase worthy, product.

I had a previous LG front load washer that was still going strong after 15 years when we sold the house. After moving into a rental with a top load Whirlpool with agitator plate - I was shocked how terrible it was at washing clothes. The clothes never felt, looked or smelled clean. I Purchased this LG WM4000 front load washer during Labor Day sale and it was delivered & set up within a few days. Ordering was all done online and was a smooth and easy process. This new machine is amazing. Everything comes out CLEAN again!!! Plus it fits my quilts and blankets with ease and they turn out great!! I can't tell you what a difference it is over that horrible top load from Whirlpool. As an FYI - I always wash with warm or hot water with small amount of powdered detergent & Borax. Never had a problem in 15 years with my previous front loader from LG with mold/mildew or smells - I always wiped down inside rubber seal and kept door ajar for drying. Also always removed clothes promptly when done for drying. You will never have a problem if you do this. I highly recommend this LG front load washer.

I am in the process of installing the washer, but the drain hose is much shorter than in the LG product pictures. Be aware, you may need an extension hose. Also, if stacking a dryer on top...the electric cord for the dryer is very short and will only extend 2 feet beyond the bottom of the dryer. If your outlet is low on the wall it may not reach when stacked.

I bought the washer and dryer. And they work great. I had the same brand before and they last lasted years. But moved and needed to get another set there is only one thing I find inferior and that’s the fact there’s no light in the washing machine yet they’ve put one in the dryer. I’ve never had a check and uneven load in the dryer, but I have in the washer and without a light. It’s really difficult to see inside what’s going on.

Since I bought the washer machine in February and after it was installed I use it in less than a month I can't write too many details. So far the machine works quiet and does the work. I hope that it will continue after 1 year of use and after 10 years of use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is our second purchase of an LG cloths washer. We left our previous unit with the home we sold in PA as part of the sale. It was 6 years old was an excellent purchase. Our only disappointment was we had to purchase a more expensive model because the matching dryers were not available, supposedly due to covid. The less expensive model, which is like we left behind, would have served our needs just fine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the many cycles, very quiet pump (way quieter than my old LG washer that we replaced). I really like that it lets me know it is finished with the app. The little song it plays at the end is fun too. Would definitely buy again. I don’t use the steam function as much as I should. I do like that the app reminds me to run a tub clean cycle too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this before Christmas and I have had problems from the first wash. I had a service techician come yesterday and he explained I have a bad drain pump. He order one right away and will put it in next week. We are hoping that is the problem that I am experiencing as the water is not drain out of the washer totally.
