Great wash, quiet and love the app!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had our previous LG washer for years and it was extremely reliable, so naturally we wanted to go with LG once again. And we are not disappointed, its works perfectly and it is much quieter than our previous washer. Love the Bluetooth and app features, I will never forget that I have clothes in the washer again with the push notifications that are send to my phone.
Great features but loud
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This machine has a much larger capacity than my previous LG front loader, and actually seems to be too big but it's either that or tiny. Fast regular cycle with Turbowash seems good. Weird loud moaning noises happen during agitation, like a pump trying to do something will require a service call to check it out. Not happy with the noise level overall.
Literally Stinks
Literally stinks - world great, great features. But had a musty, rubbery smell from when the factory wrapping was removed. Twice spent 1/2 hours on Chat with LG and got cut off both times with the no follow up? Both times they said probably hooked up wrong with drain hose, etc. And finally convinced it smelled when unwrapped before even connecting to anything. Then they wanted me to hire a plumber to check out?? Both times communication stopped before a Next Step?
Hey there, thank you for sharing your experience with us. It's great to hear that you appreciate the features of your washer, but we understand the musty smell from the start is not ideal. It appears the odor might be linked to the materials or packaging rather than the installation process. We are here to help you troubleshoot this without unnecessary steps, such as hiring a plumber. There are several cleaning methods and adjustments available that could help eliminate the smell, and we're ready to guide you through them. A rubber or burning smell in an LG washing machine can originate from different sources, including new inlet hoses that can emit a strong rubber odor, a V-shaped pump belt in top load washers that should be inspected, buildup in the detergent and softener dispenser, or moisture accumulation due to inadequate ventilation. To address the musty smell, you can try running a wash cycle with a mixture of ¼ cup baking soda and ¼ cup water in the detergent container, along with four cups of white vinegar for top-load machines or two cups for front-load models, running a high-temperature cycle afterward. Great, with two caveats
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This washer is a lot better than the one I bought 9+ years ago. It cleans better, is quieter, and much more stable (less vibration overall) and I really like it, except for two things (which is why I deducted one star). It's very difficult to read the labels on the display, even in a well-lighted room, so it's hard to see what the little lights mean. The other thing is that I am extremely sensitive to EMF and cannot have wi-fi anywhere in my immediate environment. Before I bought this set (also got the matching dryer), I asked LG via chat if the wi-fi could be disabled and was told it was disabled by default. Not so! This machine gives off a full 4 bars of radiation, unless one opens the machine and disconnects the chip sending the signal, even when the machine is off. I think this is a serious design flaw, and should be rethought. Health should not be sacrificed for convenience and wi-fi is not good for one's health. Otherwise, though, this machine is the best!
Moldy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The worst washing machine I’ve ever had. Got this thinking it wouldn’t mold but everything smells like mold and I can’t get it clean enough on the sealing. It’s so terrible. Nothing smells clean anymore.
Hi there. Thank you for leaving us a review on the 4.5 cu. ft. Ultra Large Capacity Smart wi-fi Enabled Front Load Washer with TurboWash™ 360° and Built-In Intelligence. This is not the experience we would have wanted you to have and we want to ensure that you get the proper clarification towards this. We want to make this right. However, we need to switch to a platform that permits back-and-forth conversation. So far - love it!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great features and works great. It’s also very intuitive to use! I just hope it lasts longer than our last washer! I am trusting the warranty and trying this LG brand based on research, reviews and warranty! So far we LOVE it!
Nice washer with lots of options
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This washer has many choices in the settings. So far we have only used a few. It gets the clothes nice and clean, and seems to be energy and water efficient. Sometimes during the spin cycle the clothes get quite twisted up and I haven't figured out how to change that yet. I really like the WIFI feature to know when the clothes are finished washing as well as having recommendations to clean the washer after the correct interval. Overall, I like the washer and I think we paid a fair price.
It’s loud
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The machine works well but it is so loud during the spin cycle, I had the service tech come out to see if there was an issue they said it’s just like that. Wow I have had better this machine is so loud it sounds like it is an earthquake and I don’t have large lopsided loads either. So buyer beware if you put a load to wash before you go to sleep it will wake you and maybe even the napping baby!

FRONT LOAD VS TOP LOAD!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had my washer for a year and there is always a surprise 1st you have to DRAIN IT or it will do it itself all over your floor, 2nd the MOLD around the rim of the door is RIDICULOUS, constant cleaning after each use NO I'll do it later! 3rd it SHAKES the FOUNDATION to the house causing STRUCTUAL DAMAGE! 4th Now it has ERROzr codes IE if it isn't the water valve then it could be water pressure not enough for the washer to do it's job. Like really I didn't buy it on clearance or a second store "USED". At this time I should have went with a TOP LOADER! Learned from my MISTAKE.

Space Saver
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a retired HVAC technician, and I chose the LG after much research. The feature I was concerned most was the pump cleanout access ,after years of pulling the pump on another name brand. I was a little concerned of noise reviews, but mine is quiet as can be. Wife and I have needed a water softener for a couple years, so decided on the stacking pair .Wife is 5 feet 2 and reaches controls just fine.
