Service came, replaced the part and 2 weeks later,here we are again.same errors. Had my drain and electricity checked and all ok. Machine is a lemon! No one to talk to at LG

My wife is looking for more clothes to wash she likes them that much . I guess I can buy more now 🙂 . We replaced our old pair of LG’s that were 15 years old with this new models and she likes them as well as the originals . Upgraded controls , larger doors and quieter . 5 stars again for LG .

The LG 4000 washing machine is frustrating because I want to quickly select particular water fill amount, temperature, spin speed, amount of time for cycle, etc. and I find myself dialing through all the different cycle options to find out which ones have the temps and options I’m needing. Then once a type of cycle is selected, I can only change a few of the options but not all, and it takes a few minutes after starting to find out the cycle duration- so then I often press stop and start over if it is estimated to take too long (over an hour or so). The washer is also noisy throughout the cycles. Disappointed.

Simple to operate and quiet, making this a great purchase. This is our first front loader and were skeptical, but other family members own LG and are very satisfied. Great buy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently bought a new washer and dryer set and so far I am loving both appliances. They are quiet, there's no leakage, and the cycles are pretty quick! No complaints here. They look nice and sleek on the outside too.

I order both the dryer and the washer and up until last week I thought the washer might be the first LG appliance that was not horrible. Yep in typical LG fashion they didn't let me down by delivering another product that fails. The washer seal started leaking and I had to have the appliance store come out and replace the seal. While replacing the seal the tech had a bunch of issues getting it to work with CL constantly showing. After an hour he finally got it working. Will see how long this product lasts, but if it's like the last 5 LG appliances I owned... it will be dead next year.

Mine was installed as a stackable unit. I absolutely LOVE the way it washes and dry's my clothes. I'm very tech oriented, so the APP functionality is right up my alley. I totally recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought the washer and dryer after our LG dryer stopped working after 6 years. Overall we’re very happy. Everything seems cleaner and softer than our previous model produced. We had smell/build up with previous model and this seems like an improved design. We have a 2nd floor laundry area and there is definitely less vibration! We are having problems setting up the app and WiFi features. Hopefully we’ll troubleshoot that.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Although it runs very quietly and seems to be well made, it is tearing up my clothes. The steam will ruin any elastic in clothes. The normal cycle eats them up. I have to wash all my clothes on bedding or delicate settings in which the machine stops to soak the clothes as part of the wash to keep them from being ate up hopefully. They do not get rinsed and I have to take them out and rinse in two 5 gallon buckets full of water and put them back in to "rinse" and spin them. The machine adds water a little at a time because it weighs the clothes and by the time it is finished it's time to empty the machine! I wish so much I knew this before I bought it. I am so sorry for this bad review but I am trying to keep others from making the same mistake. I have had other LG products that are great and this washer is well made but it is a big mistake.

We've been using it for about a month and couldn't be happier. It's a world away from our ancient top loader. Very quiet, vibration free, so many features we haven't even tried them all out yet. Can't wait to see how much lower our water bill gets! Clothes come out very clean and hardly damp. The app is great and we're still surprise when my phone dings with a message from the washer! My only question: why did we wait so long to upgrade?
