[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this unit as a replacement for a 10 year old front load LG washer that had a good run but needed to be replaced. This new unit has about 30% better capacity than the old unit for about the same footprint. With the old unit, washing a queen comforter was out of the question but could be easily accomplished in this unit. This new unit is quiet, has a steam feature and the connectivity to the app, while not essential, is useful. Highly recommend.

Bought this one May 25....and it works and is QUIET. Love the turbo wash cycle. It cleans your clothes in 40 minutes. Bought the pedestal as well. If you need a washer, then buy LG.

I love the quick load feature and the extra long load feature for sanitizing sheets and towels. It is super quiet and has a cute bell when the load is complete.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought my LG washer a little over a month ago, replacing an almost forty year old machine, and I couldn’t be happier. The new machine has so many different cycles that it is hard to say which I like best. Each one is tailored to a particular type of load, and everything comes out beautifully. I like the way the detergent and softener is added, and how the machine handles everything during the cycles. The water usage is almost negligible, compared with the old machine, and the clothes come out much cleaner. Further, the machine spins the load so much faster, extracting more water from the clothes, with the result that drying time is reduced. The machine has a huge drum, so it can hold more clothes per load than before. And the machine will, if you have downloaded the LG app, tell you when the load is finished. (This is particularly helpful, since the machine is very quiet.) Overall, just an outstanding machine, which I am extremely happy with.

Besides performing the expected cleaning of the laundry, it spins the water out very well, is quiet, and has great features. I especially like the "delay" you can set. I set up laundry before bed and schedule it to run early the next morning so things are ready to go in the dryer before breakfast.

Performance is excellent 5 days later I purchased an LG OLED 65 inch tv. Just set it up. Has a beautiful picture. Just like the washer I’m still getting used to product operation.

This washer beats my clothes to shreds. All clothing, on ANY setting, is packed at the back of the washer when done. Clothes have turned inside out. They come out so wrinkled and mashed that I am washing some by hand while I look for a better washer. My old LG was wonderful. This is awful!

I have been using this for about 3 weeks now, clothes are clean, the spin cycle takes almost all the water out (which saves on dry times), and the notification features are so nice letting me know when the cycle is done! I bought the matching dryer as well, so having a brand new set, that works efficiently is something I haven't had in years! I am looking forward to years of great service!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've only had the WM4000HWA a few weeks, but so far it is quiet, efficient, does a good job cleaning the laundry, and lets us know when the wash cycle is done, even if we aren't at home, via the LG ThinQ app.

Overall I'm very satisfied with this machine. I bought the LG WM4000HWA about a month ago to replace a 13 year old Bosch 500 series wash machine. I really like the 4.5 cu. ft. Large Capacity of the drum. The 12 Wash Programs combined with the Wash Options like Turbo Wash, Steam, Fresh Care, Pre-wash, Extra Rinse, etc. give plenty of options for different needs. The Tub Clean Program is an additional plus. The machine is doing an excellent job getting my clothes clean and smelling fresh. The True Balance Anti-Vibration System is working very well. The only thing which still irritates me is the noise level the machine makes when it starts to turn, spin, calibrates and pumps the water out. It’s very loud compared to my old Bosch machine and almost sounds like an airplane taking off on the run way! Therefore I only give it 4 Stars.
