I haven't gotten a new unit for several years and after reading several reviews online it seems like this was a great model to get. I'm really impressed with the SenseClean and other technologies. It intuits well the size and needs of a specific load of laundry and adjusts the cycles accordingly. The TrueBalance system ensures that even oddly sized loads don't get off kilter. The ThinQ technology is pretty cool... I don't need to start my laundry over an app when I'm away or be notified of my laundry status by my phone but it's very convenient nonetheless. I suppose the most important way to evaluate a washing machine is by how clean one's clothes, towels, bedding, etc. is and I've again been very impressed with the job it's done. I highly recommend it if you can afford it!

Oh side note: remove shipping bolts before use. We are a family of four and use our washer for clothes, bedding, towels, stuffed animals, anything that can be washed and when it comes out of the drum, it’s clean. This is a great machine. Me gusta mucho.

I am delighted it does not shake at all, even when i washed bathroom area rugs. Before we could tell when the washer was on by how the house shook. However, not all combinations work together. I wish I could choose each option separately (water temp, extra rinse, etc.).I especially want extra rinse on normal loads.

My washer is in the basement so getting a notification that a load is done saves me so much time and also saves me money and energy as I'm not rewashing all the time! All my clothes, including cloth diapers, come out so clean!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've had ours for about a month now, and the short impression is we are not overly impressed, but not overly dissatisfied either. On the pro side, it seems to clean well, and hasn't let us down yet in terms of not doing it's stated job well. I had one very large load of heavily soiled clothes that it thoroughly cleaned to the point of not being a concern anymore. On the con side, there are a few. The number of specific cycles for special situations or laundry types is lacking compared to our ten year old former washer that had a plethora of them to cover most any case. Both the direct drive motor AND the water pump are noticeably noisier than our old model as well, despite the product being labeled as "quiet." Finally the wifi connectivity, as other have mentioned, is somewhat of a laughable feature when it refuses to connect or stay connected to my network, this despite having a very strong and stable signal extender located right next to the machine. In this day and technological age, this is inexcusable.

High maintenance laundry days and poor cleaning overall. When the machine was brand new the only issue was figuring out which cycles could get enough water in the machine to actually clean. We are fastidious about care for the machine - gasket wiped down every single time, door left wide open, running tub clean on a regular routine, cleaning the filter, using HE detergent carefully measured and borax in with the clothes. I am constantly rewashing things and have gone back to handwashing because the delicate cycle is simply trash - leaves clothes smelling worse and is hard on delicates anyway. What in earth is happening in there?! Not even three years into owning it that sour smell in laundry is persistent - it recedes a little after a tub clean but comes back quickly. And it makes anything with a nap (flannel, corduroy) flat and pilled (plus smelling bad). I guess we will pay for a technician to pull this thing apart and clean it. Making this not at all a good bargain. Will eventually replace with a SQ or find a rebuilt older top loader from a higher quality brand.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have only had our LG Frontload washer for 2 weeks. Wish we would have bought one sooner. Our previous washer, a 20 year old Hotpoint was ready to be replaced. And though we waited a month for delivery, it has been a dream. Easy to use (sure there are lots of controls, but very self-explanatory.) Almost makes doing the laundry enjoyable. The app is a nice feature, only use to notify me when the load is finished. So worth it.

But most important, we are really happy with the wash — so much better than our prior top loader. Haven’t explored all the features yet but given the Normal wash is so effective, we may never need to do so!

I am thrilled and overwhelmed with this washer, although I have not used all the functions, they are just waiting for me to try them. So far, I love this washer. The extra clean function gets out stains and the extra rinse function is great as I am sensitive to soapy film left by my old washer. I would but this product again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Washer works great… does everything you need and more. My only issue is the wifi does not 5Ghz routers. If you have a multiband (2.4ghz and 5Ghz) router, you have to trick the washer into connecting by leveraging another device.
