Smelly but clothes get clean
Our Wrilpool broke and we needed a replacement. The LG is great. One problem is that our laundry room really smells. It’s like walking into a laundry mat with a dozen machines.
Design flaw
The washer and dryer set has a design flaw that you cannot see until the units are installed. The black touch pad is not backlit - so the majority of the words printed on the touch pad are difficult to read without the assistance of a flashlight.... if you don't have a brightly lit laundry area.

I just bought an LG washing machine and I've barely started using it, but it's working very well. I hope it continues to work like this for many more years. It's good quality. My dryer is the same brand and I've never had any problems with it for several years.

Experience with this washer for almost 5 years
I have this washing machine for almost 5 years. It works very well. One of my favorite features is the pre-wash cycle. If you have really dirty clothes, you can use the pre-wash before it goes to the main wash. The drain filter is excellent to have. I checked this every month and I clean it out every month and I love the tub clean cycle. I use it every month with a alfresh tablets. The washer never let us down my brother trusts this washer then the laundry mat

Ruins all your clothes
The spin cycle knots all of the clothes into one big knot. All of my clothes get completely stretched out. LP’s warranty is useless. They say it sounds like there is nothing to repair pick a different cycle. I am already using the delicate cycle. Horrible product and support.

The deal isn't worth it. Buy elsewhere.
This has been an absolute nightmare. Do NOT buy through Sam's Club. The free installation/haul away might seem like a deal, but it isn't worth it. It's a subcontracted nightmare. Sam's Club subcontracts to LG. LG subcontracts to a delivery/install service called LX Pantos. None of the three know what the other ones are doing, and it's impossible to get a straight answer out of anyone. I placed my order 4/2, and before I did I chatted with a Sam's Club representative to confirm they'd deliver to my area, and the install would include the install kits. I'd done a bunch of research and this was my first big purchase of this scale, and I thought the free delivery/haul away/install was worth becoming a member for. I did think it was weird that I didn't have the option to choose a delivery date, but he said they would reach out to me once it was delivered to set that up. I asked if he meant it had to get delivered to their warehouse first and he said yes. On 4/3 I got five separate phone calls from LG to confirm my phone number and email. The first two were a minute apart, and I called back and spoke with a representative, and then I got 3 more calls throughout the day, like they couldn't even tell someone had spoken with me. This LG rep again said I'd have someone call me to schedule an install once the item had arrived to the warehouse. On 4/8 I received a text message from LX Pantos with a completely different order number than my Sam's purchase, saying my order "has been requested for delivery on . " (written exactly like that, with no date, only a dot), and asking me to click a link to confirm it. I reached out to a Sam's club rep to see if they contracted with this group or if it was a scam, and he said he hadn't heard of them and I should be cautious. I did some research and saw LG sometimes uses them for shipping, so I followed the link, but there's almost nothing on the webpage and it still had a blank delivery date. I emailed their customer support and she said I had to change the delivery date myself, so I set it to the first available, 4/14. I emailed customer support asking how delivery time windows were scheduled and they never answered. On 4/14, I took off work and waited. Since they weren't answering emails, at 2 pm I called the LX Pantos 800 number to ask about the status of my delivery. At first she sounded like she couldn't find my order, which was unnerving, but then she said it was scheduled to be delivered that day. I asked if she knew when and she put me on hold to call the truck, then said they weren't answering but she'd left a message for them to call me. At 4:40 pm on 4/14, I called the 800 number again and this time rep said they were delivering my washer the next day, on 4/15. I said they couldn't, I had work, and I'd already taken vacation for the 14th, she said the delivery van had already returned to the warehouse for the day and the warehouse was closed. I asked what their normal delivery hours were and she said 8am-6pm, but that specific day they were just closed then. I asked how I was supposed to know they'd given up on the delivery, and she said I should get a text message the night before, and when I told her I'd never received anything she said "Oh, that's too bad." She offered to schedule an 8am-11am window the following day, and I asked why I hadn't been offered a 3 hour window the first time around, she said this wasn't a scheduled window, this was an email to ask the drivers to use that window if they saw the email before they left that morning. It should be noted that through all this, the ONLY information displayed on their website for tracking was this: Schedule Delivery Date: 04/14/2025 Total Stops: 4 My Order: 1 In Progress: I asked her to reschedule for a week out and it still hasn't updated. I don't think LX Pantos has any idea what they're doing. I don't think LG has any idea what LX Pantos is doing. And I don't think Sam's Club cares in the slightest. I am genuinely concerned I will never get my washer.
