This has been a very good machine until the last month. We've had the machine a little over a year. The spin cycle has decided not to work well - a repairman is on his way in a couple of days.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had the washer for a few weeks now and have done several loads. It runs super quiet. Clothes are clean and whites are whiter using less detergent.

These are not as quiet as my previous 14-year-old Whirlpools. The thing that bugs me the most is the black strip on the drawers, which makes them look ajar even when completely closed. In addition, from the side, which is the view I have as I enter my laundry room, you can see the metal brackets that attach the drawers to the dryer. The washer and dryer were on display at a big box, but the drawers were not, and they are poorly designed. I would have never bought this set if I had known. Did I mention that the small Tide bottle doesn't fit in the drawer? If you are stacking or have custom cabinets, then fine, but if you need the drawers, do not buy!!! I wish I could attach a photo. You would be as sad as I am right now. Bad, LG!

I am so disappointed by this washer. Please be aware before you buy: You cannot disable the "turbowash" button on the normal cycle, so your only options are either turbowash, delicate, or bedding/towels. No such thing as just a normal cycle- it won't allow it. I wish I could return this washer. And btw, the door latch is made of plastic and will break soon- I guarantee it. Why don't they make things to last anymore?

My LG Washing Machine - although I was skeptical at first - was the BEST investment of my life. Low water usage - Low Power Consumption - I thought the OLD Auger driven machines (May Tag washer) was better - but after using for nearly 2 months - it's MUCH better. Clothes are CLEANER than the AUGER machine / not damaged too - it takes longer with the time to clean with new technology and approach - but I would NEVER part with this LG product washing machine.

It’s a nice looking machine but only a teeny tiny amount of detergent can be used like a few drops or water leaks out of the bottom. Towels are always needed on the floor at the bottom left corner in front or there’s water ruining floors. Repairman that recommended this machine said it’s not a mechanical issue or hole in the seal but a concentrated detergent issue. Clothes sometimes smell mustier than before they were washed! Only the heavy duty feature doesn’t leak and sometimes that does. Odor if awful even after leaving door open when not in use. I run the tub clean cycle constantly and just bought seal cleaner for the moldy seals around door. It uses very little water so the clothes just keep slopping around in the same dirty water. I want my top load agitator model back!!!
