Although I have only had this particular washer for a few months, I am pleased with the overall functionality of the machine. My previous machine was also an LG front loader and I had that one for over 10 years without an issue. I highly recommend LG products.

I have not been disappointed. Runs beautifully, has more cycle options than I need, the steam, turbo and speed wash features are great. Less "run" time than my previous front load. No issues with noise while on spin cycle as some reviewers left comments about.

At my previous residence I had a LG washer and dryer for years and let be them so much that I truly wanted No other brand for my new place. LG is dependable and has great feature choices to choose from ni matter what you are washing.

Only thing I don't like is the AI, it tends to shorten loads and some cloths, particularly cotton workout items do not get totally clean. Turbo Wash is nice addition and with AI for not soe dirty items is OK. AI can be turned off by selecting highest soil level but wash cycle is very long. I don't mind that as long as cloths get clean. Hopefully a firmware update will allow better disable of AI. Even so, a great quiet machine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After dumping two washers made by other companies LOVE my LG! The LG has wash cycles to fit every laundry need. It is very quiet with very little vibration even though it is located on a second story floor. I highly recommend!!

To begin, I wasn't planning on purchasing this washer; I had one that seemed to be working just fine. But overnight the motor seized up and here we are. My previous washing machine was also a LG but it lasted 13+ years, so I'm OK with replacing it. It worked hard for a long time. I love all the features this machine comes with, but there is a low-grade musty smell that I can't quite get rid of - I've run tub clean, added bleach, wiped down the drum, leave the door and detergent tray open, but it's still there.... I still have few more things to try, but this should not be an issue with a BRAND NEW washer! Also, I cannot get it to pair with the ThinQ app. I've tried multiple times, looked up YouTube videos to follow the process and still it won't connect. Nothing major but if I have the feature, I would like to use it! I own quite a few LG appliances and am very happy overall, but this takes away from what could be a great experience. To be fair, the washer does a great job washing. The clothes are almost dry when I take them out and it has reduced my dryer time considerably. I haven't tried the steam settings on the washer, but I probably will purchase the matching dryer when the old one gives out. The steam feature of the dryer will be helpful for the household. Oh, and there appears to be no volume control like my old washer. My laundry is right outside my son's bedroom and I like to run a load of clothes early in the morning and feel like it's loud enough to wake him up. Both my washer and dryer allowed me to turn the sound very low or even off. This might be a feature that is available, but if so, it's not easy to find! If I could clear up the musty smell, I would be willing to give it 5 stars.

We bought it to replace our 14 year old LG and knew we wanted to stay with LG because our first set was wonderful. This machine does not disappoint! It’s got so many features. I love the delayed start. I set a timer at night and my first load is washed when I wake up in the morning. I love the Turbo wash feature that speeds up the cycle on a load. I’ve used the delicate cycle to wash a shower curtain and it came out perfectly. Best of all? My comforters no longer have to go to the dry cleaner! What more can you ask for?

I have been using my new washer for over a month and can’t describe how I love it. Best washer I have ever had. The large stainless steel drum is amazing. Short cycles, extreme cleaning capabilities and so quiet even with the spin cycle. Couldn’t be more pleased.

It's very simple to use and I love having all my LG appliances synced with the app for timely notifications (cycle complete, etc.).

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I swore I wouldn't buy another front load machine, but I have been very happy with this machine. Clothes seem clean and everything is working well. My only reason for not giving it 5 stars is that the wring cycle is so aggressive that the clothes are very, very wrinkly when they come out of the washer. I do a lot of line drying and I now either have to do a ton more ironing or wear more wrinkly shirts/tops.
