The onset was not immediate felt like an hour before the pain lessened for me and for him it was about the same. It’s not a significant help that I would feel the need to purchase this specific item again. It does the job but so does any other item I’d say. It contains caffeine so if that’s something you don’t want from medicine avoid this. Overall it works so it’s fine.
