[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this refrigerator when my other one went out. I have really enjoyed the pull out drawer freezer section. The way this unit is designed saves space so that I have more food storage area. I was limited by the space so that was important to me.

This product, this is not a good product. It is very loud, in a buzzy, metallic humming all the time kind of way. No food has spoiled yet, so it keeps food cold as advertised. But it does so at the cost of peace and quiet. The guidelines say not to mention their C.S. department, so I am not sure how to share the companies poor performance in this area. Let's just say that I had to install a switch so that I can turn off the fridge whenever I am in the kitchen.

I have to polish it at least 3 times a day and I the only person in the home in order for it to look clean. The storage space is too small. The entire refrigator sticks out from the counter top by 3 inches.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice looking and has ran great thus far (albeit slightly on the loud side). I am not a fan of the brackets to hold the shelves. You cannot slide an item sitting on the shelf from one side to the other because of these brackets. I didn't think it would matter at the time, but in a smaller width fridge, it really does. The shelves are adjustable up and down but the manufacturer doesn't leave a lot of options for adjustment. The holes in the back of the fridge to insert the shelving brackets only go so far up and down along the back side of the fridge. If these holes went to the top and bottom, there would be a couple more options to adjust the shelves. Unless you want to take a shelf completely out, you cannot fit taller items on any shelf, such as a bottle of wine.

The interior is roomy and well-designed, and the temperatures inside seem uniform. As a vegetarian, I really appreciate the ample produce drawers, which extend the life of produce. The shelves look good, and can be arranged to meet your storage needs: I removed a shelf to accommodate a large beverage jar, and it fits securely and well. The ice maker works like a dream, the chilled water on the door is handy, and there is plenty of room for frozen food. Highly recommended!

I purchased an LG refrigerator in July 2018 and it has been a horrible experience from the operation of the unit to the customer service and the repair. I have only owned a few different refrigerators in my life mostly because of moving, but this is by far the noisiest appliance I have ever owned. A “repair technician” came out three times to service the unit and ended his last visit with “LG isn’t going to do anything”. The repair technician blamed the noise on my kitchen echoing, a broom leaning against the unit, and dog hair. My kitchen didn’t echo the sound of my prior refrigerator and the broom leaned against that unit as well. As for the dog, he was only visiting – we do not own a dog, but had a cat in the house the 12 years prior with our old refrigerator. This guy was nothing but a salesman and he even told me that “sound is a perception” and I’ll give him that, but I guess then my perception of sound changed between refrigerators. The new unit hums, buzzes and whirs constantly and occasionally makes loud noises I compared to shutting down small gasoline powered engines. He did say most old refrigerators had one fan and the unit we bought had many, many fans. Unfortunately, the unit did not make the louder noises when the “technician” was at my house, but I did record them but he refused to listen to them. He said he could keep coming but eventually LG was going to charge me for it and said he was like a dentist and if I couldn’t tell him what tooth hurt, he didn’t know what tooth to pull? Hmmm, any dentist I’ve been to makes an assessment based on x-rays and other diagnostic tests. I even suggested to the guy that maybe the insulation was an issue and he said “that’s impossible, the insulation is blown in”. And the customer service department, well they gave me the service tech’s cell phone number and just told me to contact him directly if I had a problem. LG does not want to deal with anyone or anything after they close the deal. Not a good long-term plan, but I guess it is working for them now. I’ve advised a few people in person that I knew were looking for a new unit, but hoping to reach more people this way. Whatever you can do to steer clear of LG, DO IT. My son posted videos to youtube for customer service. I will get the url and update this post later.

I purchased this model refrigerator in June and have had it installed for 1.5 months. So far it’s been great! I do wish that the freezer top drawer had a higher back as things have a tendency to slide out the back and under the drawer if stacked too high. I also wish it would connect to the trouble shooting app LG has just in case I ever needed it.

I like the frozen food in the bottom drawer. It opens easily and the storage space is large. The ice maker performs well. The French doors open to hold large drink containers and affords more storage space.

I love everything about this refrigerator. I did call customer service once and they were quick to respond. It was user error not the fridge.

We had a pretty old clunker 18 Cu Ft fridge - inherited - and needed something (new) when it gave up one day. We HAD to have something that would fit within the cabinet opening, something that would be a little bigger than what we had (I really didn't want to modify the cabinets to put a bigger fridge in that opening). This fridge did the trick! We gained almost 4 Cu Ft with this unit. They did it by making it a little taller and a little deeper than most fridges. That worked perfectly for our situation. But generally speaking, this model LG has been a perfect refrigerator for us! We love the capacity! It's quiet! It makes ice flawlessly. The snack tray is way cool. It's easy to adjust the temp. Veggies and Fruit last much longer and stay fresher! The door open reminder is great! Only 2 things that bug us: (1) The ice picks up the smell of the food in the freezer, a little. and (2) the snack tray requires both doors to open all the way; there's no getting around it, it's just mildly inconvenient. The Fridge is still far superior to anything in it's category... probably exceeds Samsung equivalent.
