A Big 30"!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are delighted with the space and layout of of this 30" refrigerator. Didn't have a lot of choice due to our narrow entry way to the house but we couldn't have been more pleased. The water stream is a bit slow and not that cold but the ice drawer is always full, and the filtered water tastes great. No more plastic water bottles! It is quiet and compact, more than serves our needs and actually is quite a beauty!

Excellent and Fit Perfectly

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Several month looking for the right French door refrigerator, I select this model because it fit really well, it has the largest capacity in the market for this kind. LG offers a top notch warranty. It is quiet and works really well. The apartments this days offer small space available for the refrigerator, most of the time the developers choose two doors fridges. This offers the best side with only 30"wide. I recommend this model.

"Great Fridge"

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I luuuuuv the look of my LG 3-door with water dispenser refrigerator. It keeps the food nice and cold, the inside is very spacious, alarms you when the door is left open, and you can get water from the dispenser on the door. I love everything about my refrigerator!

Best fridge we've owned with one small nuisance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love this fridge overall. It's, by far, the best fridge we have ever owned. It fits in our kitchen perfectly and the styling is excellent. The water service is in constant use in our house, and, because there is no ice dispenser in the door, there is much more room on the upper left area compared to other models we looked at. Ice service is perfectly convenient in the top left section of the freezer section so what some people might see as a deficit, we view as a clear, everyday benefit. The one nuisance we found and would recommend that LG address is the height adjustments of the fridge shelves. If you place the shelves at a level that look as if they will allow you to store US half-gallon milk cartons in the bottom you will find that the tops of the milk cartons bump into the shelves. We have to bend over the tops of the milk cartons (cow milk, soy milk, almond milk, etc) in order to get them in and out easily. If you move the shelf above the cartons up one level then there is a lot of wasted space above the cartons and the space on the shelves above them are far less usable.

Great Fridge

The Fridge is great we had a very specific size that we needed to get and it fit perfectly. We are coming from a 17 year old no frills fridge, so this was a major upgrade for us. As of right now, the only thing that we are not happy with, and it has been mentioned before, the fingerprints!! LG really needs to upgrade this.

This product, this is not a good product. It is very loud, in a buzzy, metallic humming all the time kind of way. No food has spoiled yet, so it keeps food cold as advertised. But it does so at the cost of peace and quiet. The guidelines say not to mention their C.S. department, so I am not sure how to share the companies poor performance in this area. Let's just say that I had to install a switch so that I can turn off the fridge whenever I am in the kitchen.

Love it and hate the noise

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The inverter compressor is supposed to be quiet. The reviews on this model was mostly good and many remarked on the quiet. However, the fact that the refrigerator noise is continuous and hardly ever stops (fan probably), makes any noise intolerable. Hence some of the reviews also said that, but I wanted to believe it wasn't true. It is true...hardly ever stops!! So that is way too noisy. I work from home and hear it most all the time. Also when I put a decibel meter on the refrigerator it measures between 56 and 60 when write up says it would be at 40. Only time it is at 40 is when fan is off...almost never. I'm only debating whether or not to return to Lowes because I really like the refrigerator in most every other way.

Extremely LOUD!

I purchased an LG refrigerator in July 2018 and it has been a horrible experience from the operation of the unit to the customer service and the repair. I have only owned a few different refrigerators in my life mostly because of moving, but this is by far the noisiest appliance I have ever owned. A “repair technician” came out three times to service the unit and ended his last visit with “LG isn’t going to do anything”. The repair technician blamed the noise on my kitchen echoing, a broom leaning against the unit, and dog hair. My kitchen didn’t echo the sound of my prior refrigerator and the broom leaned against that unit as well. As for the dog, he was only visiting – we do not own a dog, but had a cat in the house the 12 years prior with our old refrigerator. This guy was nothing but a salesman and he even told me that “sound is a perception” and I’ll give him that, but I guess then my perception of sound changed between refrigerators. The new unit hums, buzzes and whirs constantly and occasionally makes loud noises I compared to shutting down small gasoline powered engines. He did say most old refrigerators had one fan and the unit we bought had many, many fans. Unfortunately, the unit did not make the louder noises when the “technician” was at my house, but I did record them but he refused to listen to them. He said he could keep coming but eventually LG was going to charge me for it and said he was like a dentist and if I couldn’t tell him what tooth hurt, he didn’t know what tooth to pull? Hmmm, any dentist I’ve been to makes an assessment based on x-rays and other diagnostic tests. I even suggested to the guy that maybe the insulation was an issue and he said “that’s impossible, the insulation is blown in”. And the customer service department, well they gave me the service tech’s cell phone number and just told me to contact him directly if I had a problem. LG does not want to deal with anyone or anything after they close the deal. Not a good long-term plan, but I guess it is working for them now. I’ve advised a few people in person that I knew were looking for a new unit, but hoping to reach more people this way. Whatever you can do to steer clear of LG, DO IT. My son posted videos to youtube for customer service. I will get the url and update this post later.

works, but poor shelf design

OK but . . . if you notice the photos of an open model, with food in it, you will see that there are no bottles of milk or cartons of orange juice. Why? Because they don't fit!! To get them to fit you have to remove one of the shelves. So to repeat, an OK model, but limited shelf space because you can only use three of the four shelves provided (one on one side, two on the other).

Great buy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this in December, worried it might be a little small, but was I surprised!! My old fridge was the same size, upper freezer. When I started putting everything in this one, there is so much more room! The stainless steel looks very nice, is easy to care for, and I couldn't be happier with this LG!
