Customer reviews for LG 22 cu. ft. French Door Refrigerator forBest fridge we've owned with one small nuisance
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love this fridge overall. It's, by far, the best fridge we have ever owned. It fits in our kitchen perfectly and the styling is excellent. The water service is in constant use in our house, and, because there is no ice dispenser in the door, there is much more room on the upper left area compared to other models we looked at. Ice service is perfectly convenient in the top left section of the freezer section so what some people might see as a deficit, we view as a clear, everyday benefit. The one nuisance we found and would recommend that LG address is the height adjustments of the fridge shelves. If you place the shelves at a level that look as if they will allow you to store US half-gallon milk cartons in the bottom you will find that the tops of the milk cartons bump into the shelves. We have to bend over the tops of the milk cartons (cow milk, soy milk, almond milk, etc) in order to get them in and out easily. If you move the shelf above the cartons up one level then there is a lot of wasted space above the cartons and the space on the shelves above them are far less usable.
Water run slow
I’m bought this 2 years ago and thought maybe after someTime of using it or changing filter the water would come out faster but NOPE. You have to stand their for 3 min just to get 10 oz. my kids hate having to stand to wait for water so it discourages them from drinking water.

Solid choice for a smaller space
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought a 22 cu ft. after owning a 28 cu ft. for many years. It is a French door refrigerator. Overall, it is great. Only two issues. The side storage container space options are limited, so you cannot store many tall items, especially at the top shelves. Also, the guide on the left hand door (that helps the doord seal upon closing) often opens in a "half open" position, so when you close the left door, it hits the right hand door. You should not have to even think about it, but I do now so I don't damage the guide.
Thank you for your thoughtful feedback Bill Davies! We’re thrilled to hear you’re enjoying your new 22 cu ft French door refrigerator overall! We appreciate your insights on the side storage and the guide issue. Your feedback helps us improve, and we’ll definitely keep it in mind for future updates. Not worth the money
If I can give it a -50 I would how does a refrigerator only last 6 years and you will not back up your product. I will never buy another LG again and believe me I work on the public so yep work of mouth does a lot when I would tell someone never to buy one.

Very Disappointed
I purchased the product based upon the assurances I received that the installation was complete. They would bring everything they needed to install the ice maker and the refrigerator. When they arrived I was told that since I did not have a fitting in the refrigerator location they were unable to hook it up. They said they run into this problem all the time. When I had scheduled the installation, I was assured several times by RXO, their installation organization, it was no problem, they would bring everything needed. Their idea of everything is a 4' hose They also said they could not route it to under the sink.

very poor design
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've now had this fridge for 6+ months. I didn't choose it; the previous owner bought it to make the kitchen look updated and fancy prior to putting the house on the market. I dislike this fridge and wish I could justify replacing a brand-new fridge. I hate that you have to force the doors shut instead of just giving them a push; I hate the stupid little song it plays when a door is left ajar (I like the idea of a sensor, but why can't it be a simple beep instead of this grating melody??); I hate that it doesn't have an ice dispenser on the door; I hate that the water dispenser pours SO SLOWLY; I hate that the freezer is basically just a big drawer to dump things in, with no built-in means to properly organize; I hate that the bottom drawer in the fridge requires that both fridge doors be open if you need to open the drawer all the way; and I hate that the front is not magnetic and I have to find another way to put up important notes that I've always, throughout my entire life, stuck to the fridge with magnets. The only reason I'm giving it 2 stars instead of 1 is that it works fine. I haven't had any problems with the temperature, and it's extremely quiet.

Love It, So Far
This is our first of this style refrigerator, we had our previous old style, freezer on top, two door for 36 years. I can’t find anything at all wrong with this fridge. We are on a well, and the ice maker is working super great. It is the same size as one we had for a long, time, but it seems like there is more room. I find it easier to arrange that the old style we had. I love that the freezer is 0 degrees, and the fridge section is 37 degrees. We do both notice how much colder our food is. And, our grapes have lasted longer than before, staying crisp. I think we are falling in love with our new LG refrigerator.
Hi there, thank you for sharing such a thoughtful review of the LFDS22520S. Moving from a traditional top‑freezer model to a French‑door style is a big change, and it’s wonderful to hear how much you’re enjoying the upgrade. The improved organization, consistent temperatures, and extra‑feeling space can make a real difference day to day. It’s great to know the ice maker is performing well on your well system and that your food — especially those grapes — is staying colder and lasting longer. Love it!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I always wanted a french door refrigerator. When my compressor went out on my old one I purchased an LG. Now my entire home is LG products. Refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, mircrowave and TV. So far no complaints. The refrigerator is not only functional but beautiful.
A lot in a small space!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having only 30” of space is limiting - but not with this refrigerator! Plenty of room for large items and space for condiments galore. Huge feeezer and fantastic ice maker that never runs out. I love the door water feature. We both cook and there is always room for more!
Great second refrigerator for pantry.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this for a second refrigerator and it has been excellent. The French doors give great access to the shelving and the ice maker is a real producer!! So far, we have found this refrigerator to be perfect for it's intended use.
