Could be better
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The fridge shelves are poorly designed for putting anything tall in. I had hoped the water coming out of the dispenser would be cold, but nope, just slightly chilled. It also takes 40 seconds to fill a 20oz glass. Really?!

30” width French door option
I bought this refrigerator several weeks ago. It was one of very few options that offered a water dispenser and ice maker with French doors in a 30”. I only wish there was a Thinq version in this size to have everything connected in the same app and a few other flexible shelf configurations. I am, overall, very happy with my purchase!
Nice Compact French Door Frig
This refrigerator is nice and compact (30") with lots of space inside. Like the triple lower drawer feature, and adjustable shelfs but could use more positions for spacing. It is a little noisy at times but not a game changer. Nice features would buy Lg product again.
Perfect fit
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Since my refrigerator space was limited there were only 2 refrigerators to choose from. We chose this one because there was more food space vs counter depth. Everything works well, it’s quiet, filtered water and ice cubes. Just wish it was fingerprint resistant.
Pretty nice fridge
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this fridge and it was delivered about a month ago. Really like the look and feel of it. However there are a few things I think potential buyers need to be aware of before purchasing. For me two things stood out. 1. It’s a 30” inch fridge and thats all I could fit in my tiny kitchen however the older (same size) top freezer refrigerator I had seemed to fit more in the fridge. The meat/cheese and veggie/fruit drawers are decent size but door compartments as well as shelves (although adjustable) are, in my opinion, only big enough for 2 people’s food items living together. A family of 3 or more is going to be tight. The sleekness and modern design is nice, but it is pretty small in my option. It’s like a modern small suv. It looks like on the outside, and has some good bells and whistles, but when you get inside the legroom and headroom are small. 2. This might just be me cause I’ve never had a bottom freezer but the bottom bun compartments are decent size but I have found in order to get something I want out I have to remove a bunch of items to get to it. Kinda a pain. All in all there are a lot of nice bells and whistles on this fridge. The door alarm and external water dispenser are nice along with external fridge and freezer temp controls. The bright led lights and easy to move fridge shelves are also nice features. All in all it’s a great small fridge. In my opinion. if you have more than 2 people in the household you might want to think of having extra fridge in basement or garage.
Solid choice for a smaller space
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought a 22 cu ft. after owning a 28 cu ft. for many years. It is a French door refrigerator. Overall, it is great. Only two issues. The side storage container space options are limited, so you cannot store many tall items, especially at the top shelves. Also, the guide on the left hand door (that helps the doord seal upon closing) often opens in a "half open" position, so when you close the left door, it hits the right hand door. You should not have to even think about it, but I do now so I don't damage the guide.
Thank you for your thoughtful feedback Bill Davies! We’re thrilled to hear you’re enjoying your new 22 cu ft French door refrigerator overall! We appreciate your insights on the side storage and the guide issue. Your feedback helps us improve, and we’ll definitely keep it in mind for future updates. Great design
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We really love this refrigerator. We were looking for something that could dispense water but not take up too much room on the inside and that is exactly what this is! Since the ice is dispensed in the freezer space below, we don't lose out on any refrigerator space. The water still comes out cold enough to enjoy straight from the tap.
Extremely LOUD!
I purchased an LG refrigerator in July 2018 and it has been a horrible experience from the operation of the unit to the customer service and the repair. I have only owned a few different refrigerators in my life mostly because of moving, but this is by far the noisiest appliance I have ever owned. A “repair technician” came out three times to service the unit and ended his last visit with “LG isn’t going to do anything”. The repair technician blamed the noise on my kitchen echoing, a broom leaning against the unit, and dog hair. My kitchen didn’t echo the sound of my prior refrigerator and the broom leaned against that unit as well. As for the dog, he was only visiting – we do not own a dog, but had a cat in the house the 12 years prior with our old refrigerator. This guy was nothing but a salesman and he even told me that “sound is a perception” and I’ll give him that, but I guess then my perception of sound changed between refrigerators. The new unit hums, buzzes and whirs constantly and occasionally makes loud noises I compared to shutting down small gasoline powered engines. He did say most old refrigerators had one fan and the unit we bought had many, many fans. Unfortunately, the unit did not make the louder noises when the “technician” was at my house, but I did record them but he refused to listen to them. He said he could keep coming but eventually LG was going to charge me for it and said he was like a dentist and if I couldn’t tell him what tooth hurt, he didn’t know what tooth to pull? Hmmm, any dentist I’ve been to makes an assessment based on x-rays and other diagnostic tests. I even suggested to the guy that maybe the insulation was an issue and he said “that’s impossible, the insulation is blown in”. And the customer service department, well they gave me the service tech’s cell phone number and just told me to contact him directly if I had a problem. LG does not want to deal with anyone or anything after they close the deal. Not a good long-term plan, but I guess it is working for them now. I’ve advised a few people in person that I knew were looking for a new unit, but hoping to reach more people this way. Whatever you can do to steer clear of LG, DO IT. My son posted videos to youtube for customer service. I will get the url and update this post later.
We apologize you have had trouble out of your refrigerator. Some noises are normal operation. Good but not great (esp for the price).
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice looking and has ran great thus far (albeit slightly on the loud side). I am not a fan of the brackets to hold the shelves. You cannot slide an item sitting on the shelf from one side to the other because of these brackets. I didn't think it would matter at the time, but in a smaller width fridge, it really does. The shelves are adjustable up and down but the manufacturer doesn't leave a lot of options for adjustment. The holes in the back of the fridge to insert the shelving brackets only go so far up and down along the back side of the fridge. If these holes went to the top and bottom, there would be a couple more options to adjust the shelves. Unless you want to take a shelf completely out, you cannot fit taller items on any shelf, such as a bottle of wine.
No improvement compared to last ; lasted 9 yrs.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i previously had an LG REFRIG: same dimensions. Must say the delivery was a DEBACLE, even tho the store would need to doors had to be removed to gat thru a doorway. After the delivery the Ice Maker didn,t work. After 8 days an excellent LG repair gentleman came. He was right on the MONEY as to the problem. As to the refrig itself, very similar to one removed. I do not like the second shelf in the freezer. Tried yesterday to place a package at the front of the second shelf freezer: DOWN IT WENT! There is a GAP between second shelf and front of freezer. I also have this HUMMING for maybe 3-4 hrs each day, sounds like a FOG HORN. Read my book again, sounds your refrig my make; didn't find this sound: HOPE ALL IS WELL.
