I always keep a block of one of Sam's cheeses in the fridge. I prefer to shred my own cheese over buying the shredded stuff; it just melts so much better and doesn't leave a grittiness when using the cheese to make sauces, etc. The price, flavor and texture are perfect.

This extra sharp cheese is my favorite for my home made mac & cheese, & it's half the price of Tillamook, which is my usual choice. It's a bargain as far as I'm concerned!

Good purchase I shred cheese anytime I need it and I know it does not have anything extra in it for the convenience of being shredded already and cheaper, buying in the block

The block format is far better than pre-shredded because you control the thickness, whether you are slicing for sandwiches, cubing for a snack board, or shredding fresh for cooking. Fresh shredded melts cleaner and tastes better than the bagged stuff with anti-caking agents. The size is ideal for a Sam's Club buy and it keeps well in the fridge when wrapped properly. Excellent quality for the price. This is a permanent item on my Sam's list.

We always grab this, almost every visit. It's a staple! With so many wanting to move away from the cellulose coated pre-shredded cheese - this is the one I come for every time. Great flavor, melts great, consistent quality, shreds well! We use for everything!

We use a lot of cheddar cheese in our kitchen. Shredded cheese has additives we don't care to consume plus it doesn't melt as well. The taste is on par with more expensive cheese & is more reasonable.

I have got to where I get this every time I come in Sam's. This is a great price for the amount of product and it is one of our favorite cheeses. We use this a lot in our cooking. This beats even the cheapest grocery chain as far as price per ounce. I purchased it also because I shred my own cheese.

Ok so, this cheese is soft and easy to shred. The flavor is well worth eating melted.
