For shorter people like myself, you may want a single step stool to help reach the bottom of the drum— yes it is THAT BIG! Everything comes out smelling clean and with just one tide pod or minimal liquid detergent. The pet care features do a great job as well.

I haven't had it long enough, but there hasn't been any issues with it. I've use the normal, bedding, and quick wash feature with no issues or concerns.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using the Samsung 5.4 cu. ft. Pet Care top-load washer for a while now, and I'm really impressed. I have pets that shed constantly, and this washer actually lives up to its “Pet Care” name. The dedicated pet hair cycle and built-in filters do a great job catching fur and lint so it doesn't end up on my clothes or in the dryer. I used to have to lint-roll everything after washing, but not anymore. The washer is huge — 5.4 cubic feet makes it easy to wash large comforters, blankets, and pet bedding all in one load instead of doing multiple smaller ones. It's also surprisingly quiet for its size, and I like that the lid closes softly instead of slamming shut. I really like the SmartThings app integration, too. I can start a cycle, check progress, or get a notification when it's done right from my phone. It's one of those features I didn't think I'd use much but now really appreciate. The brushed navy color looks great in person — it's a nice change from basic white and gives my laundry area a modern look. The only small downside is that the drum is deep, so if you're shorter it might take a little stretch to reach the bottom. Some of the cycles also run a bit long, especially when using the pet care or deep clean options, but the cleaning results make up for it. Overall, I'm really happy with this purchase. It's stylish, easy to use, and most importantly, it keeps pet hair under control. If you have pets or just want a powerful, smart washer with plenty of room, I highly recommend this one!

Maybe the cycle didn't start? No! Just working so effectively. Rinse and spin out moisture was minimal. Love the capacity. Extra large on sale for almost same as large. Comforters fit nicely. The sleek color is extra special. My laundry closet is black, and the navy blends right in. Actually creates a bluish hue. So glad I choose something out of the ordinary. Price made it possible to buy both washer, and dryer. Love Samsung anyway. My fridge, microwave, old, and new washer, 3 TV's and my cell phone all bare that name. 😏

It was also one of the most highly rated and expensive units but the pet-hair removal feature was especially attractive to us and it makes a huge difference in dealing with our pets and a cleaner home. Contract design is simple and intuitive to for quick selections.

I bought the washing less than a year ago and I'm really not satisfied with the machine. I tried to get adjusted to it and learn it but in 40 years owning a machine it is the worst machine I ever had. Here's why: The worst one is my clothes gets all tangled, twisted and stretched, knots with the sleeve of my shirts whatever which cycle I choose. Which makes my clothes all wrinkled and it damaged some of them. I thinks it is because it doesn't fill with enough water. The pet care filter doesn't work at all which I check every time I use the machine hoping it will have some hair but not.. I have 4 hairy Border collies, and it is always empty, but my dryer filter is filled with hair even when I use the pet care cycle. The softener/soap distributor is difficult to access with the bottle or the cup which brings the other flaw is if you put just a little bit, just slightly too much of softener it completely emptied itself on my clothes right away. Waist of product Also it is very deep. I'm 5'2" and can barely reach the bottom. But that I knew before buying it by reading the review. If I could I would return it.
