We have a small dog and I washed the floors regularly "the old fashioned way" but this was easier and just as good if not better. I have bought one for my home and my daughters as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the second steamer I have bought. The first one was Symphony with vacuum. The vacuum made it heavy and the floor pad was smaller . It lasted 3 years. I thought I liked it until I purchased the power fresh . Love it. Glad it doesn't have a vacuum much lighter and floor pad wider and swivels. Hopefully it will last longer than the first one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this Bissell steam mop! I use it on my kitchen and hallway tile floors every week. My floors look sparkling clean, with no leftover residue. The steam mop also does a beautiful job on my laminate floors, never leaving streaks. And finally I use the steam mop in my small den to freshen up the carpet. It's the best!!

We have used swifter wet jet in the past and until we used our Bissell Steamer we didn't know what clean was. The floor feels so clean. The swifter left it feeling sticky and like there was a residue in the floor. With the Bissell steamer I feel confident letting my two year old play on the floor. I would let him eat off the floor now!

I use the PowerFresh 1940 on my linoleum kitchen floor, slate entryway, and ceramic bathroom floor. It works great on the ceramic bathroom floor (5 stars), pretty good on the linoleum kitchen floor (4 stars), and not very good on the slate entryway (1). It leaves a white residue streak over parts of my dark colored slate entryway. I think that's because many, many years ago, I put wax on it to add a shine. I would suggest not letting the steamer sit on your floor while you wait for the steam to stop after you turn it off. I'm afraid it may ruin the floor so I have to hold it up in the air until it cools down. Next time, I will have something ready to set the steamer on so I don't have to hold it while I move furniture. I give it 5 stars for drying fast and it is quicker than the way I previously cleaned my floors. After I solve the problem of having to keep holding it up off the floor so the steam doesn't sit on one spot as I move furniture, I'm sure I will give it a much higher rating.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Product works great on my tile, hardwood floors, and vinyl floors. I have children so the steam function is great for getting up tough stuck on food, dirt, and any other things the little rascals get into.

Great little steam machine. Seems to get the floor clean with less effort than using the mop and bucket. Plus no more detergent. It is great to have a clean floor with just water and less work. The product gets 5 stars but having to wait an extra 5 days to get the product was not good. 2 out of three items in the order were wrong, but as I said the product is good the shipping department needs some help.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We use the PowerFresh Steam Mop Hard Floor Steam Cleaner 1940 on all our tile floors -- kitchen, bathrooms, even our entryway. It is easy to set up and the water reservoir has just enough water to steam our rather large kitchen floor. It does an excellent job on the faces of the tile and makes quick work of the occasional shoe mark with just a few seconds of additional steam and the scrub attachment. The only thing it doesn't clean well is the recessed grout between each piece of tile. I expect the steam loosens the discoloration caused by use over time, but the scrub brushes do not reach the grout to sweep the face of the grout. I had hoped I would not have to continue to use a small brush on the grout by hand, but that is the only issue I have with the steam cleaner.
