It is also incredibly convenient and is operational very quickly. Does the job very well, and is very sustainable since the mop heads are machine washable. Huge win!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use the mop on the tile flooring in our house. It does an effective job of cleaning. I have only used the new mop twice, but I had the same model for about four years, before it just died. Previous to that I had a different Hoover steam mop, but it lasted only a year before mineral build up killed it. Since that time I have always used distilled water in it. The new one appears to be exactly the same as the previous one, with the same drawbacks: finicky (sticks easily during a pivot, if not just at the angle it likes), water container cap is substandard (not robust enough and washer is finicky --- one on previous model cracked about 1 1/2 years in and I had to glue it together to avoid waiting for a replacement order) and the final drawback is that the air freshener discs come in small quantities at a sky high price (that price is before shipping, as I haven't seen any stocked in local stores).

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried my steam mop for the first time today and absolutely loved it. My floors feel so clean, and actually look brighter. The steam mop was so easy to guide around the floors and there wasn't any scrubbing necessary. The cord was long enough that it allowed me to do a tremendous area before having to plug it in elsewhere. I used the distilled water as advised.

I have only used the Bissell steam mop twice and was shocked to see how dirty the pads got since the floors were steam mopped only 2 weeks before with the Shark steam mop. The Bissell steam mop obviously does a MUCH better job than the Shark! I have several different Shark mop heads and mop head covers but they have NEVER gotten as dirty as the 2 Bissell mop covers I just used. I have 2 suggestions. Please add a handle to the top of the water tank as it is very difficult to pry it up and out to fill. In addition, since the mop covers are not reversible, like the Shark mop heads, please include more regular mop head covers with the mop. I purchased 2 additional covers but only one of the covers is a regular cover. The other is a scrubby cover, which I do not need.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We can rinse the cloth - need to about 2 times in 1177 sq ft home. It is super easy to use. We only use water or something gentle or natural on the floor- tons of allergies. Then we wash the cloth in the laundry after each use -- love that there is a smoother cloth and a rougher one. Would prefer the same with a small dirty dump reservoir to ensure we aren't smearing dirt/mud back on even better, but works pretty well as is - very convenient, just a bit less hygenic than pulling up all the dirty water for sure. (We have tile.)
