This is a great machine. I ditched the mop for a while thanks to this machine. Downfall is you cannot get under furniture like you can with a small mop. Other than that I love it. I'm sorry I didn't try it out any sooner. Too bad for me. I have told all my friends about it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very excited to get my steam mop I've only used it a few times and it does heat up in 30 seconds or so And I like that I can take out and fill the tank which is quite large with distilled water tho it goes through it quickly Quite frankly I thought the steam would be stronger -more "steamy "if that makes sense ? even on highest level which I did try and would dry a bit faster than it does I have used a Hoover steamer of my mother in laws and hers definatly seems to create stronger steam and dries quicker but I don't care for Hoover brands after having an issue with a Hoover brand vac so would never buy one

My floors all feel so much cleaner and now cleaning my hard floors is so much less daunting than getting out the old mop and bucket. I actually enjoy cleaning the floors now --- really!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Recently had wood floors sanded and coated. Concern was amount of dirt on new floors. Used a mop several times with mixed results. I used the steamer lightly on the refinished floors and saw the amount of dirt already. This steamer revealed what we thought. More maintenance to our wood floors for protection. Also used it on marble floors and had a similar result. This product works as advertised. Very pleased

I would have given 5 stars but had a couple of small issues that I would love to see changed in future models. First was the instructions to put together the unit were lacking....thankfully we have YouTube, there seemed to be an extra piece in our package and we couldnt understand why it wasnt mentioned, its the part you set the unit in when not using, but took us a while to come to that conclusion not even YouTube addressed that. Also there was vague instruction to find the snap in area to make it click together. We finally succeeded by watching a video. Lastly, the size of the fluid holder on the unit is really small, I have a 2600 sq ft house all tiled we had to refill often, for one or two hard floor rooms though this size is fine. Would be nice to have another model for larger work areas. On the positives side, this Bissell is the best ive used in the 6 years ive owned this completely tiled home (ive used many brands so far). I use this machine to do the entire house once a week completely and then a few times a week in the heavy traffic areas that get dirty quickly. This PowerFresh model scrubs the floor really well with the scrubbing pad on, it also doesnt flood the floor with moisture it produces more steam than other ive used and that is the secret to cleaner floors and faster drying time, we can walk on the floor just minutes after cleaning them (that impressed me the most!). The unit is lightweight and easy to use, easy ro change the pads and has a pocket for the discs that smell wonderful! When I wash the cleaning pads with other cleaning cloths the smell of the discs goes through the laundry and that was an added bonus for me. The other pad that comes with the unit, I use on a daily basis since its usually to just wipe up spills or shoe debris. The machine heats very fast. We are happy with this purchase. I like it a lot. Very easy to use, good long cord, good pivot. Heats quickly. More than one steam option. I have reserved one star as I haven't used it long and right now I wish the (more textured) mop head (not sure what it's called; the cloth), wouldn't get so dirty so fast. I sweep the floor before steaming, of course and will wash it. I am hoping it doesn't shrink. I understand it is supposed to be washable. So we'll see how long it last being washed frequently (I rescue cats and have to clean often to keep animals healthy). I haven't use fragrance or other options to speak to that.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works great right out of the box. I do use distilled water to help the unit last that much longer. Stubborn dirt is no match, I just let the steam mop sit a second over the stain and the muddy paw prints are gone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After purchasing and using two 31N1 steam mops over the last 8 -9 years, the last one began to fail. I ordered the Bissell Power Fresh Steam Mop. I've used the new one now for about a month and generally 2 - 3 times a week. On the positive, I can say I like the larger mop head and the speed at which it heats. Additionally, the three steam settings is a nice feature. On the negative, the electrical cord quick release feature doesn't seem well constructed and may not last. I also find the mop head more difficult to put on. I ordered the scent discs but quit using them as they are very strongly scented.
