I have lots of laminate flooring in my new home & I worried that it would be time consuming & difficult to keep them clean . Then a friend lent me her Bissel Steam Mop, and it was love at first swipe !! It is easy to use, and it made short work of cleaning all of my flooring ! I love that it uses steam instead of harsh chemicals, and that the scrubbing pads are washable & reusable!! Good for my pocketbook & the Planet !!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The steamer works great. We had a previous model that went out, so we purchased this one. I would give it a higher rating, almost gave four, but the one issue with this one makes it somewhat of a pain. To add more water, you have to remove the canister as the fill is on the bottom. It may sound like nothing, but with our old one we could fill it easily from the top, which when you're in the middle of cleaning is a huge plus. We will have to see how this plays out as we've only used it a couple times so far. Hopefully it's not as much of a pain as I'm thinking it will be.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The fact that all you need is water to sanitize your floors is wonderful. No harsh chemicals, no lingering odors. The mop is fairly light and super simple to use. I kind of enjoy mopping and seeing the floors shine. It came with 2 scented tablets that sit in the mop head, but I haven't used them yet, and 2 interchangeable mop heads. The water canister is small yet surprisingly you rarely have to refill it. The only three downsides I'd say are that it's a little hard to push on our hardwood floors, it takes a bit more effort which can be tiresome. It would also be nice if it was cordless. The cord is has a generous length so you don't have to continuously plug and unplug as you mop but having to uncoil and coil it gets annoying. Understandably, it would be much more expensive if it were cordless but a thing to consider perhaps as an option. Lastly, the water canister is a little tricky to take out. Overall, I love our purchase, I think it was well worth it.

It does a great job getting into the corners and puts out a lot of steam. Very lightweight. I wish the water supply was larger and the cord longer. I have asthma so was worried about the scent, but since we have dogs, I thought I would give them a try. The scent is just pleasant, not overpowering.

I had heard so much about steam mops lately so I did some searching online and checked out the reviews. This mop had a very good review so I thought I'd try it...I'm so glad I did! It cleans my floor great, with very little effort. That nasty hairspray buildup on the bathroom floor...GONE! I would recommend this steam mop to everyone!

I had waited and had researched quite a while for a steam cleaner (about 2 years) looking at the various brands and the reviews of the products available. One of the major pros to why I purchased one now: the ability to remove the water cartridge to empty it! Other pros include I had read about and also since I have used it: it is lightweight, has variable steam settings, the water lasts quite a while to cover a large area before it needs to be refilled, its swivel head, it stands upright locked in place until ready to use, and it is a USA company (still run by a family member). I own two other Bissell products and although I always try to buy from an American company, this would not be the only reason I purchased from this company - it was because of the reviews I had read about this steam cleaner before buying it, and again, their products are always quality made and designed with the user in mind!
