The majority of our floors are ceramic tile with grout. The PowerFresh Steam Mop for hard floors does a very good job at cleaning them and all with distilled water. It leaves no film on the tile or grout, which is what I like and the fact you can melt away suborn substances is fantastic! I purchased extra scrubby pads, as they are beneficial for cleaning the grout. I do wish the chamber for holding the distilled water was much larger, as to clean all the floor areas we have, I must stop to fill it three times. I think someone there could design an adapter water chamber, that could be snapped in and used on this model, to meet the needs of people like me. Of course, the settings of low, medium and high, will regulate how long the water lasts, and I used the high setting. The kit included floral scented discs, which I found much too strong and disliked them. I would like Bissel to create "green" scents. Overall, I really am happy with my purchase.

Just used it first time last night. I have wood floors and it seemed to get all the salt residue from the snowy weather cleaned up and worked well in the kitchen where there was some baking ickiness on the floor even without the scrubby bit pushed down. I used distilled water.

The company of my old steamer doesn't make that model or one like it anymore, so I was counting on being disappointed when I bought this. If anything, I'm happier with this than my old one!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love our new steamer, just wish the pad came clean. They advertise to just throw it in the wash! Well, it looked just as dirty coming out of the washer as it did going in. The next time, I threw it directly into a bucket of white vinegar first. It didn't seem to help at all. Cleans great, it's just hard to put a filthy looking pad on to clean each time.

That's how I got on to the fact that this steam mopper would heat not only the floor, but my feet as well! I wanted to lie down and coat the floor with me!! But as it was doing its beautiful job, NO WAY! I looked behind me and there was reflections...JOY!! On this over-tramped, musty yellow floor too!! Way to go, Bissell and all the improvisationists at Bissell!! Happy is Thanksgiving this year!!

It works fine but found that I needed to go over my floor a second time with a clean cloth pad as it does leave some streaks.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bissel PowerFresh Steam Mop is perfect for our new tile floor. Our tiles are light cream tones and show dirt and debris easily. I originally planned to use it every 2 weeks, but it is so easy to use that I am using it more often. What makes the mop so easy to use is that it is very lightweight and it heats up so quickly. It really makes mopping the floor fun rather than a heavy chore. The children even think its fun.

I love the scrubby attachment! The only thing I miss is the handle that was on the front of my old Bissell steam mop; the handle made it easier to maneuver. All in all it's the best steam mop I've ever used.
