We also have tile and so far everything looks and feels clean. Very simple to use. We use distilled water to extend the life of the product, as prescribed in the manual.

I'm using ONLY distilled water. Please note that. I killed two other steamers (not Bissell) by using tap water. Just don't do it.

I have used it twice now and it does a fine job. I am so happy not to use a mop and a pail. It is very easy to use and for my home I have to fill the reservoir twice to get the job done. I use Publix purified water which apparently is the same as distilled water. I've washed the mop head twice now and I wish it would come out looking cleaner. I like the perfume disks that came with the mop. Overall I'm pleased with this purchase and I hope the product lasts for years.

The effectiveness of steam to kill 99.9% of germs is certainly reassuring. It works quickly, and in the wink of an eye health is accomplished! I also use it on our marble tile, so the kitchen and common areas are their cleanest. Without using a scent disk, our home smells clean and fresh.

The Bissel steam mop does a great job, and is very easy to use. If there was anything I would change on the unit it would be the method of removing the water container. I have arthritis in my hands, and trying to squeeze/grip the container to extract it is extremely difficult.

My floors are spotless. Love that everything is so clean and I didn't have to use chemicals. I have 3 dogs and get very nervous about using chemicals to clean my floors.

The steam feature starts to have malfunctioning issues after only 1-1 1/2 years and I think they should last longer than that. I was skeptical that it would clean as well as stated online but, I am a believer. I get a superior clean on tiles without streaks AND no residue. My floor are much cleaner and when you use the Eucalyptus Mint water your house smells fantastic. It's very easy to use, fairly lightweight and I love that the mop heads are washable. I strongly suggest purchasing extra mop heads to have on hand. They get pretty grungy. I can totally recommend this product.

I owned one of these before & It was fantastic. this new one seems to have some issues with it though. When I'm finished it seems to leak water out at the bottom. My other one, I could leave the water in the machine & it never leaked when I was done. The box was also obliterated, with a huge wide gash on the side & bottom, as if something very heavy had been placed on it in shipping. I'll have to get in touch with Bissell, and see.

We tried using a Swiffer, which was fine for a while. But, the steam clean we get from this Bissel product is much better, especially for the Kitchen and Dining areas. It is as convenient as the Swiffer, but we are not obligated to keep buying the proprietary cleaning pads and spray fluid.
