Like how light weight it is and the steam level options are great. So easy to use. The carpet glide I got with it is fabulous and with 4 pets helps me give those little messes the final certain cleaning and deodorizing needed. Like this steam only mop much better than the dual steam and vac. I put a couple drops of tea tree oil inside the fabric cover for fresh smell.

I have used the Steam Mop - 1940 on my hardwood floors and on our basement tile floor. The machine is very easy to use. It is quiet, lightweight, and does a nice job on the floor. The removable/washable mop head makes cleanup very convenient and easy.

My neighbor loaned me her Power Steam Mop and I was so impressed by the clean floor that I ordered the Bissell Steam Mop the same day on-line and received it from Bissell two days later. I had my doubts about my hardwood floors after reading people who said don't use a steam mop on hardwood. It does not get them too wet. It drys fast and the floors are left super clean with no residue.

The only thing I've noticed is that the fabric covers, after washing them, don't clean very well. They still look dirty coming out of the wash. Who knows though, maybe it's removing a lot more grime than my old steam mop and that's why. In the end, I'm pleased with this purchase.

So far, I really like how much dirt is picked up in the pad. It seems to do a very thorough job of cleaning. The water filling system is very easy to use. The scrubbing option could be a bit better.
