I bought one for my daughter for her Birthday and she loves it! She was very impressed with how easy it was to clean her floors with the Power Fresh Steam Mop.

It dries the floor quickly, and does a very good job washing them. I am extremely happy with the product - it has made life much easier for me!

Our home has Spanish tile floors throughout with thick grout lines. Add that with two large dogs going in and out makes for difficult floors to clean. Those Swiffer items just don't work for us. I also had a Shark but that didn't seem to work either. This one fits the bill.

Smells so fresh and really does a deep clean on my floors! with 3 kids, 2 big dogs, and living on a farm this mop was a life saver! I was nervous about purchasing but so glad I did, makes my floors look amazing and no sticky feel to the floor like how they were when I used a swiffer.

However, water is hard and it is difficult to know how to keep minerals from building up and blocking steam. This is a problem with most steamers I have purchased and this Bissell remains my favorite despite its down sides. I haven't used the demineralizated water yet but overall, it is too expensive. There must be a more effective cheaper way.

I keep going back to them because they do clean well and there really isn't anyone else making a reasonably priced steam mop besides Shark. I clean for a living and have learned a lot through trial and error. First of all, only use distilled water in the mop. If you don't, it will last just passed the one-year warranty. Secondly, be aware they are not for all wood floors. Also, they are not recommended for wood floors that were sealed in a factory. This is because steam can get between the boards where there may not be a good amount of poly to protect the wood. Do not leave a hot mop sitting on linoleum. It will turn it white and this may not ever go away. The mop is great for tile surfaces , but it doesn't really clean the grout very well. Also, some grout becomes discolored and turns white. Finally, don't plug in the mop, leave it standing up right, and walk away. I had one that turned on by itself, and ruined a floor.

I had waited and had researched quite a while for a steam cleaner (about 2 years) looking at the various brands and the reviews of the products available. One of the major pros to why I purchased one now: the ability to remove the water cartridge to empty it! Other pros include I had read about and also since I have used it: it is lightweight, has variable steam settings, the water lasts quite a while to cover a large area before it needs to be refilled, its swivel head, it stands upright locked in place until ready to use, and it is a USA company (still run by a family member). I own two other Bissell products and although I always try to buy from an American company, this would not be the only reason I purchased from this company - it was because of the reviews I had read about this steam cleaner before buying it, and again, their products are always quality made and designed with the user in mind!
