It probably would have lasted longer but it has been through a few moves. (Active military family) I love this mop for the simple fact that is kills bacteria naturally! Come on, you can't get better then that! It is safe for my children and pets. It doesn't leave for floor soaked. My Littles ones walk around with me as I mop. Love this mop, and the donation it does for every purchase!

First of all it is so light, it is easy to assemble like 2 minutes! EASY to use, you plug it in and you push ONE button to select the level of heat. It glides easily on my apartment floor which is all tiled. Stain on the floor or caked on spills..NO PROBLEM...you just leave the mop on a few seconds and it comes right up. This is a dream from the my old days of scrubbing my floor on my hands and knees!!! its even good in corners, just let the steam stay on it for more seconds....I recommend this thing and my floors feels so clean under my bare feet....go for it.Lets not forget CHEMICAL FREE, you need no soap, STEAM does the magic..

I use it on all my tile floors. The kitchen floor gets really dirty and does a good job cleaning it. The main thing I don't like is that I can't get the mop pads really clean after cleaning the floors. It's also hard to get in small areas, but over all I really love this little machine. It light weight and handles nicely.

I am an above the knee amputee and so I have to clean in a wheel chair. I love this mop. It allows me to clean my tile and hardwood floors easily. I am no longer able to get on my hands and knees but I am able to get the same results that I did when I could. My grout comes clean and the hardwood is cleaned easily. This means alot to be able to keep my independence and and clean home.

Just received my PowerFresh Steam Mop the other day so today was the first time I had used it. I started with the tile floor in my bathroom. Man, was I impressed. It cleaned right up to the walls and went all under the sink and other areas. Love that swivel feature. Then I headed to the kitchen which is another tile floor. I started going with mop and it just glided to all the areas along the edges and began to clean places that I have been unable to clean because it would require getting down on my hands and knees. Just can't do that anymore. I came all around the cabinets and the mop just hugged the places under the cabinet edges and just was AMAZING!. After I came back around to the beginning I thought, "let's see what it will do in the dining room." This dining room floor has certainly seen its better days but I began. I did notice a difficulty in moving on this floor than with the tile. However, I wasn't to be swayed. I thought I will just turn around and pull it back toward me. Low and behold that was the 'trick'. It began to do some really good cleaning on the 'old' floor. I noticed how good of a job it did when I did the hearth in front of my fireplace. Then I was through. Boy, was that pad filthy! One may think they have gotten their floors clean but the pad tells the tale. Now I have an idea for what I shall do next. Since it is truly Spring it is time to put out the cushions on the outdoor furniture. The porch will need to be swept and cleaned. So, since I have a nice new front porch I am going to use my Steam Mop on the front porch. I thought this will really make it SPARKLE! My only complaint is why didn't I order this much sooner. Thanks for the simple guide to putting it together and also for the additional pad and the two discs. I will try the discs but they will be too expensive to keep refilling probably. I am excited to discover that the on/off switch for the Steam Mop isn't really necessary if the button is selected the 4th time. Then it just sorta 'rests' while I am moving something so that I can mop in that place. I believe that this Steam Mop will truly be a life saver and I can hardly wait to try it on one of the lower levels to see how it does. I used the highest because I wanted to see the mop in ACTION. Sure there was a bit of extra water but on high and the floors really needing a good cleaning I didn't mind. Matter of fact, as I write this note...the floors are already dry. Now that is AWESOME!

I have only used the powerfresh steam mop once on our very large kitchen floor and two bathroom tile floors. I was super-impressed with this product and highly recommend it to anyone who is considering buying it. It is very easy to use and is a powerful mop. I had to wash the mop head as it got so much dirt off our floors (very embarresing) from the first use. I especially appreciate the swivel head and it fits behind and along side the toilet with ease. I live with my 18-year-old son, and our nine-month-old dog. I used other mops, with the bucket of chemical-water, that would leave sticky residue, or dirty streaks. The first time I used my Steam Mop, all I did was sweep, and turned it on high. By the time I was done with the second section of my kitchen, the first section was spotless and dry! I could hardly believe that something this simple, could do such an amazing job! Next job, hard-wood floor in the dining room, and then the laundry room, where the dog has her food and water bowls, and her kennel. Thank you for such an easy and thorough cleaning system! This steam mop is great I have owned two and this one is by far the best I've owned. I use this steam mop on my hardwood floors and tile in my kitchen. I wish my whole house was hardwood or tile it would be so much easier to clean with having this amazing steam mop. This product only takes about 10 seconds to heat up which is a great feature. It's not heavy so it's so easy to push around. The water canister actually holds a lot of water I only have to refill it once. I love that I can add cleaning solution Bissell brand of course but when I use it I get that fresh clean smell throughout my house. The pads that attach to the mop when cleaning are washable and can be reused. I don't dry them after washing just incase they would shrink. I highly recommend this product it's wonderful and a great price

We began using Bissell's steam mops after becoming less then satisfied with a competitor's mop. Our first Bissell mop was the Steam Mop, which we still have and use in small areas; we then purchased the 2 Machines in 1 mop because of the detachable steam pod and large head. Both of these units do an outstanding job. We have used our PowerFresh Steam Mop for the first time today to clean our kitchen and sunroom areas, and find that the variable steam setting feature along with the large incredibly maneuverable mop head makes this unit another outstanding Bissell product. And the fresh scent pad far exceeds our expectation by leaving a long lasting pleasant aroma in the cleaned area...job well done!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love it! I live in an old house and when I moved in, it seemed as though the landlord did not clean the floor too well. I tried everything to scrub and get all the dirt out the tiles in the kitchen and bathroom, and thought this may help loosen the dirt. Never did I think it would pull almost all the dirt! I used the steamshot first, them went over the floor with this. The floors looked amazing!
