I have used this for 3 weeks now. I can say honestly that it is by far the best steam mop! I have used 3 others on the current market. I have also used the machines with rotation brushes+ vacuums. Nothing compares to the quality and simplicity of this little guy. Very very easy to use. Light weight. And the quality of clean is A+. I have a large house and the entire down stairs is stone tile. I have no pets, but..I have 4 kids running through. I can be quick about my clean ups. I don't have to mess with a bunch gadgets or cleaning products. My floor is always clean now and my house smells wonderful with those little power pods.

This mop worked great for about 8 months and it suddenly stopped working. It still heats up, but the steam isn't coming out fast enough to clean my floors. It won't even dampen the mop cover. I'm really upset that this thing just stopped for no apparent reason. I wouldn't buy it again.

I live in Florida and have my new home in tile and ceramic flooring (1800 sq. ft.). The 1940 steam cleaner is the best thing I have ever used. I have two boxer dogs and this steam is fantastic and keeps the grout clean as well. Actually just had my friend from Canada get one today.

Works VERY well. Lifts stains in linoleum I thought was permanent discoloration. Did not harm linoleum, tiles, or weak crumbling grout. Works even to ends of pad; even clean/not patchy. Fits under low ridges, in tight corners, and holds steady on ground without lifting when turning. Long cord is great, but needs automatic retraction button to save time. Fill container should be bigger and have a way to grab it easily; it's slippery and difficult to pull up. The scrubber on the back seems pointless and difficult to clean if used, just for show; would be better to have on sides or front (press down/up with foot) and easy to remove for clearing collected debris. Works well, but will look for same with aforementioned usefulness and time saving improvements. Would recommend for powerful clean! Bissell products I trust for power and quality. I chose Bissell over other brands because I know they're worth it.

I seldom leave reviews for products, but the Bissell PowerFresh Steam Mop was so good I wanted to tell everyone. I live in an 1889 Victorian home with the original floors. I have always been on a quest to find something that will clean these floors quickly and easily. I finally found the Bissell Power Fresh Steam Mop and have been so impressed with it, I have purchased one for every floor. It cleans even the toughest grime that gets tracked inside quickly and easily. The water reservoir is easy to remove, fill and replace. The mop head works around all of the furniture easily. I absolutely love this steam mop, it has made a tough job so much easier and you don't have to have smooth, pristine floors which is a great thing if you live in a historic home.

I have hardwood floors throughout my 3500 sqft house and it has always been so difficult to get them all clean at the same time. This mop cleans quickly and efficiently. It leaves NO STREAKS (YAY!) and a super clean finish. When the scented pads wore out (they came as a sample with the mop) I started using a few drops of lemon essential oil on the mop pad. It makes the whole house smell good! This mop is compact and easy to store. I can't say enough good things about it. I even steamed the soap scum off of my glass shower doors with it!

Still Loving my Powerfresh 1940 steam mop and I've had it for 2 years! It is easy to use, lightweight enough so my hands can handle it with no problems. My hands have very bad arthritis and carpal tunnel so I can't handle anything heavy. My cleaning lady loved it so much she has bought one for her business as well!

I always dreaded cleaning my tile floors. Using this steam mop makes this job so much easier. I was really impressed at the amount of steam and the way it lifted my spots off the floor. It was so easy to use that I proceeded to clean my wood floors as well on steam level one. Loved the smell of the Eucalyptus water.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love using this mop on my terrazzo floors. It makes cleaning really easy. However, the two piece of molded plastic on the handle come together right where you place your hand to push the mop. It's a very rough seam and as such makes my hand hurt by the time I'm finished mopping. Plus, I'm getting calluses on my palm from using it. And i don't even mop very much! If they fixed this issue, I'd give it five stars.
