[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First one I had less than 6 months the steamer stopped working, went through all the troubleshooting nothing. I bought a new one I've had this one less than a year. Leaking nothing is cracked all seals in place. Went through troubleshooting nothing worked.

I bought this unit to replace an older steam mop (which I really liked and thought did a good job). I started looking online and realized my old steamer didn't get the best reviews. More research. Decided to buy this model based on many, many great customer reviews. I am VERY happy with this Bissell Powerfresh Steam Mop! The water tank is easy to remove to refill (some folks said the tank was a bit small, but I only use this steam mop for my kitchen, dining room and laundry room so the tank is fine for me). The microfiber pads fit over the steam head so easily! The steam mop heats up very quickly and powers through any muddy or sticky mess I gave it! My old steam mop only gave steam if a trigger by the main handle was squeezed, so my hand would get tired of holding the darned thing down. My Bissell steam mop gives constant steam, and just the right amount to remove dirt without leaving the floor too wet. The unit is lightweight and swivels to move nicely around corners. Last (but certainly not least) I was amazed at how much cleaner my floors looked after using my Bissell steam mop. I thought my old steam mop did a good job. I was wrong. Believe the reviews, get this Powerfresh Steam Mop!

I've used a few different steam mops, and this one is the absolute BEST! It heats quickly; uses a good amount of steam; user friendly; easy settings - on/off - 3 steam settings....easy! Easy placement & removal of cleaning pads, and the cleaning brush attached to the back is very helpful. Just a Great, Overall product. I have one in each of our homes and HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

My father purchased this for me a year and a half before he died, so it's very sentimental to me. It stopped working last week, zero steam and with no warning at all. I've had it about 6 years. Only use distilled water. Now it just makes a clicking sound and water drips out. I'm hesitant to get another Bissell product. Not sure what this cleanaholic will do, but I'm not happy. Thought a Bissell would last longer than 6 years.

I have been using another product that put water on the floor scrubs and picks up. However, I noticed I always had some water left and how clean I don't know. So I tried the Power Fresh Steam Mop and I am one happy camper. No standing water left on the wood floor and the dirt is on the mop head. My floors were clean and shinny, Now the real question how will the mop heads wash and what will be the cost of replacing mop heads? The first wash and it came out clean the second wash and it came out clean I guess only time will tell. All I can say is I feel better with no water left on the floor, and a hot steam to kill germs. I already know for the price I did not go wrong.

Had tile floors installed three years ago. I used a mop once a week with a cleaner but the grout never got clean. Using this model 1040 cleaned both the tile a grout it took me two time cleaning and after i got done and the floor and grout dried it was like new .

Sorry that it took me so long to leave a review after winning this item. First let me say it is very easy to put together and very light weight. With the operation of the product very easy to handle and heats up in no time. With any hard to remove spots the easy drop down scrub brush is the key. One of the best features is that there is no chemicals needed. Just straight distilled water and the job is complete.

I've used the steam mop several times and love it. I've always mopped my floor weekly but it still didn't feel clean. The first time I used the steam mop, I was appalled at the dirt it picked up. My kitchen floor now feels totally clean and great on bare feet, no gritty dust. It's a little hard to push across the floor but nothing that's a problem.

We have primarily hardwood floors, and have been using this mop for a couple of years now. By far the best steam mop I have used. Doesn't need chemicals, just add water and go. It was really handy when we had a dog to clean up those messy paw prints. Now with kids, it seems to be just the thing to clean up dried up messy food spills and all the other stuff that makes the floors look dirty. Sometimes if the mop is turned up to high stream, there are streaks after cleaning the floor, but not while using the low setting. really happy with this mop and how it makes the floors go from dirty to clean. Plus the mop heads are washable or you can buy new ones when they have gone past their usefulness.

I used this per the instructions and the steam stripped the finish on the hardwood in my bedroom. I thought, oh no, this is not ideal for hardwood. So, my second attempt was the linoleum in the kitchen. I've got white almost like burn marks left behind that I can seem to remove and this also stripped the finish. Such a disappointment.
