I just bought this steam mop and was thrilled with the way that it cleaned my tile. You can actually tell the difference as to its cleanliness when you walk barefoot on the tile. My husband even noticed and stated that he had never seen the floor look this good. I love this product. I would recommend it to everyone.

I have tried many floor steamers because they all quit working after a year or less of use. (in my case I only had mine for 10-12 months) Unfortunately the Bissell Power Fresh was no different! So do yourself a favor and DON'T purchase any replacement mop pads until you are sure it will keep working. I was so pleased with the steamer and bought more mop pads thinking I had found one that would continue working! So sorry this steamer was no better than all the others!

I asked my son for this for Christmas and couldn't be happier with it. The swivel head allows me to get in tight corners and edges. This couldn't be simpler to use.

I've used the steam mop several times and love it. I've always mopped my floor weekly but it still didn't feel clean. The first time I used the steam mop, I was appalled at the dirt it picked up. My kitchen floor now feels totally clean and great on bare feet, no gritty dust. It's a little hard to push across the floor but nothing that's a problem.

We have primarily hardwood floors, and have been using this mop for a couple of years now. By far the best steam mop I have used. Doesn't need chemicals, just add water and go. It was really handy when we had a dog to clean up those messy paw prints. Now with kids, it seems to be just the thing to clean up dried up messy food spills and all the other stuff that makes the floors look dirty. Sometimes if the mop is turned up to high stream, there are streaks after cleaning the floor, but not while using the low setting. really happy with this mop and how it makes the floors go from dirty to clean. Plus the mop heads are washable or you can buy new ones when they have gone past their usefulness.

I have both the 1940 steamer and then went back and bought the CrossWave. I am not normally impressed but you have won me over on these products. The only thing I would like to see changed is an adapter and a pad for the steamer than you sit it on rather than have to fit the pad around the bottom of the machine,,, both these products are stellar, the pad is my only gripe! I wish so much that I had bought a bissell vacuum last time. Can't wait for a chance to win one sometime since hubbie is going to throw a fit if I buy another vacuum HA... thanks for 2 great products!

I previously had a different type hard floor cleaner and went through 3 Of them in 3 years. I checked all the steam cleaners out and decided on the powerfresh 1940. It is very lightweight and so easy to move around the floor. I am very happy with my clean and fresh ceramic tile floor. Instead Of taking me 30 minutes to do my floor I can do it in about 8 minutes. There is also no mess. You just pull the pad off and throw it in the washer. I am very pleased with this purchase!!!!!

Very happy with this mop. I researched to see what would best serve my needs and this is the clear winner. It was affordable, lightweight, easy to assemble, and had a two year warranty. I have two dogs, one of which is a messy eater. The mop cleans the tile with no streaking. I have not tried it on the engineered hardwood floor yet but I will. I did clean a couple of small rugs and it worked well without leaving them soaking wet. The fact that it uses distilled water only and disinfects while it cleans, is a bonus. I dislike using commercial floor cleaners that are full of chemicals. I would recommend this handy appliance to all.

I have a cleaning service & absolutely love this steam mop ! It is so easy to use & the floors come out much cleaner than the mop & bucket of water mess. You must use distilled water only ! I have 5 big dogs at home & use this steam mop on my bare floors.....it is a life saver !

I have had this mop for a little over a year and my mom has always asked to borrow it. I purchased one for her and she is thrilled by how easy it is to use and how clean it gets her tile and hard wood floors. Would recommend to anyone looking for something to get their floors cleaner with less of a hassle!
