I have laminate and tile flooring throughout the house and I always disliked using dirty mops and harmful chemicals to clean the house so as soon as I found out about steam mops I got one immediately. It is so much better than any other method of cleaning the floors that exists on the market. Especially if you have small children in the house the steam mop is a must! It cleans and sanitizes without any harmful chemicals to bother anybody. The price was reasonable. It was very easy to assemble. I have been using this steam mop for over a year now and so far had no issues with it. I like that it is lightweight and does not take a lot of space to store. I like that I can change the amount of steam to use depending on the task and I like the size of the floor head which covers decent size area at once. Overall it is a good, solid steam mop, but some improvements would make it much better. Like for example, I wish the cord would be longer because when I steam clean my whole house I have to unplug it too many times to reach all the areas and then every single time I have to wait for it to reach the required temperature to produce the steam. Also I wish the water tank would be bigger so I would not have to add water so often when I am steaming the whole house, but at the same time I really like the fact that water tank is removable because it makes it so much easier to fill it in with water when needed. Another thing would be nice is if the floor head would have many steam holes spread out all over instead of just one in the middle.

My first Bissell. Used this for the first time yesterday. My floors were so wet after using, with regular back and forth passes and not lingering, that I had to get a dry regular mop to get up the water. I had this problem even on the lowest steam setting. I used distilled water as recommended. I'm very disappointed because I had high hopes for this steamer since my Shark steamer quit working.

I love to buy stuff to clean with, specially when it makes my Life easier and the Steam Mop does it. It is really light weight and easy to handle. It cleaned my kitchen floors really good. I have two dogs and one husband and there all bring enough dirt in the house. So I take the Steam Mop and in a couple of minutes it is clean again. Thanks Bissell.

At first I was skeptical, but after using it a few times I was impressed, does a good job. I tried the deodoriser pads on some doggie smelling rugs at it worked well. Then I got the bright idea to try it on the car seats and once again it got the smell out and softened up the stains enough that they cleaned up by just following up with the shop vac. This machine has more than paid for itself in just a few uses. The best part is it's really simple to put away.

I have Pergo.com style floors and I was thinking about getting a Swiffer Wet Jet. Swiffer customer service didn't really help me out, so I found Bissell. Thankfully, I'm happy with my Steam Mop. I think I'm using it correctly and I would recommend this to everyone else. It's easy to set up and very easy to use. There are two things I would wish it would do. One, I wish the Steam function could be combined with a light bleach and or light detergent to just have that additional cleaning power. Two, I wish the water reservoir would be bigger. I find myself going through the demineralized water very quick on the high setting. But, that's about it as of now. I just bought this mop and have used it once. I will edit this review as time goes by if my review changed. Thanks BIssell :)

My father purchased this for me a year and a half before he died, so it's very sentimental to me. It stopped working last week, zero steam and with no warning at all. I've had it about 6 years. Only use distilled water. Now it just makes a clicking sound and water drips out. I'm hesitant to get another Bissell product. Not sure what this cleanaholic will do, but I'm not happy. Thought a Bissell would last longer than 6 years.

This steam mop replaced a unit we had used over this past year from another company. Very pleased with it. It heats up quickly; I like that the head pivots. The scent disks are a nice plus and make the room smell refreshing. The floor pads are easy to put on and remove. The electrical cord is long enough to get around a good sized room. Found out my daughter purchased the same unit and uses for her house cleaning business and she likes it also. We use only distilled water in it in as recommended in hopes to get long use out of it and not get clogged up due to hard water.

I have been using another product that put water on the floor scrubs and picks up. However, I noticed I always had some water left and how clean I don't know. So I tried the Power Fresh Steam Mop and I am one happy camper. No standing water left on the wood floor and the dirt is on the mop head. My floors were clean and shinny, Now the real question how will the mop heads wash and what will be the cost of replacing mop heads? The first wash and it came out clean the second wash and it came out clean I guess only time will tell. All I can say is I feel better with no water left on the floor, and a hot steam to kill germs. I already know for the price I did not go wrong.

I have had good experiences with Bissell products I have used. I am sure in fact that this steam mop may be fine for certain applications but not my paver- tile floor. I assembled the steam mop quickly and it was ready to use in minutes. As I began to move the mop back and forth, testing an area of my floor it seemed to be cleaning just fine. However when the floor actually dried I could see visible streaks which required physical attention on my part to eliminate. It was not a good cleaning experience for me but again it may work for you. I contacted Bissell and was authorized to return it for a credit which I am in the process of doing. I was told that the credit will take up to four weeks to hit my account.

I absolutely love steam mops. I feel like they clean the best. Bissell is the best brand for a steam mop. its a nice concept with a few flaws. I have tried a shark and it was terrible. Pros: its lightweight, cleans great, disinfects, swivels easily, heats up fast, makes mopping enjoyable, decent size water tank, don't have to touch nasty mop bucket water only to spread it back across the floors again, long cord, supports the pet foundation (which i love fur babies), you don't have to use chemicals and the mop pads are reusable so its not wasteful. Cons: the water tank is kind of hard to get off (especially for arthritic hands), cant see the water level in the tank due to the color and the location, doesn't have a handle like my last one (this help to guide the mop in trouble spots), longevity (they only last about a year, its expensive to replace them yearly but so are buying chemicals all year) and last but the biggest complaint is the mop pads. what a bad design flaw. they have a flimsy elastic band in the front. so when you pull the mop backwards the pad pulls down. I can already tell that these will need replaced soon as the elastic isn't enough to hold them on in the front of the mop. all in all its a great cleaning machine. I doubt I could buy one for my mom though since she struggles with arthritis. I would buy another one but not with the same style mop pad or water tank. I will continue to buy and use Bissell products :)
