I previously had a different type hard floor cleaner and went through 3 Of them in 3 years. I checked all the steam cleaners out and decided on the powerfresh 1940. It is very lightweight and so easy to move around the floor. I am very happy with my clean and fresh ceramic tile floor. Instead Of taking me 30 minutes to do my floor I can do it in about 8 minutes. There is also no mess. You just pull the pad off and throw it in the washer. I am very pleased with this purchase!!!!!

I replaced my old Bissell Steam Mop after 10 years. I love the features on this new model. The steam level , large mop pad and easy scrubber are all great features. It is light weight and easy to maneuver. Easy to assemble. I highly recommend this Steam Mop .

I actually won the PowerFresh Steam Mop which was great since I was shopping for a new one! I love this mop, it's perfect for our needs! It's big enough to do our floors and the swivel head mades it very easy to maneuver. Another great thing is that you can adjust the amount of steam as well as the fact that it comes with a scrubbing pad. I also love the fresh scent disc. I love every Bissell product I own and this one makes one more!

At first I was skeptical, but after using it a few times I was impressed, does a good job. I tried the deodoriser pads on some doggie smelling rugs at it worked well. Then I got the bright idea to try it on the car seats and once again it got the smell out and softened up the stains enough that they cleaned up by just following up with the shop vac. This machine has more than paid for itself in just a few uses. The best part is it's really simple to put away.

I love to buy stuff to clean with, specially when it makes my Life easier and the Steam Mop does it. It is really light weight and easy to handle. It cleaned my kitchen floors really good. I have two dogs and one husband and there all bring enough dirt in the house. So I take the Steam Mop and in a couple of minutes it is clean again. Thanks Bissell.

I purchased this about two weeks ago and the first time I used it I was in love with it. It is easy to use and cleans the floors to a shine. Gets all the dirt and grime off my tile floors. Using this steam cleaner is guick and easy. The greatest thing I have purchased in a long time, I can't say enough great things about it. Everyone needs one.

Purchased model 1940W some 3-4 years ago. ( It is an orange color instead of the blue color shown online). Used mainly in the bathrooms and kitchen. Wonderful machine until the machine made a "click" sound and abruptly stopped. I emailed my problem to Bissell, but so far (4 days) no answer. However, I have been getting ads from Bissell for products to purchase online. As I have all the Bissell special cleaning fluid, cleaning pads, and scent discs, I am reluctant to start up with another steamer that doesn't fit my supplies. Really enjoyed using it, especially since I have broken both arms in the meantime and this steamer is really easy to use and does a pretty good job overall. Not as good as using my regular mop, but my days of mopping that way are over.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love how this steams but the only problem is it does not last very long. We have purchased 2 and are thinking about buying another. We just don't understand why it doesn't last for years like a vacuum does.

I was happily using my Bissell steam cleaner on my tile floor today and it stopped working. I use it every other week and have had it for almost 2 yrs. I can't believe it just died. I tried to figure out the problem but the light switch for the steam setting wont even turn on. Any help would be much appreciated. Maybe the Bissell fairy will mail me a new one LOL.

I absolutely love steam mops. I feel like they clean the best. Bissell is the best brand for a steam mop. its a nice concept with a few flaws. I have tried a shark and it was terrible. Pros: its lightweight, cleans great, disinfects, swivels easily, heats up fast, makes mopping enjoyable, decent size water tank, don't have to touch nasty mop bucket water only to spread it back across the floors again, long cord, supports the pet foundation (which i love fur babies), you don't have to use chemicals and the mop pads are reusable so its not wasteful. Cons: the water tank is kind of hard to get off (especially for arthritic hands), cant see the water level in the tank due to the color and the location, doesn't have a handle like my last one (this help to guide the mop in trouble spots), longevity (they only last about a year, its expensive to replace them yearly but so are buying chemicals all year) and last but the biggest complaint is the mop pads. what a bad design flaw. they have a flimsy elastic band in the front. so when you pull the mop backwards the pad pulls down. I can already tell that these will need replaced soon as the elastic isn't enough to hold them on in the front of the mop. all in all its a great cleaning machine. I doubt I could buy one for my mom though since she struggles with arthritis. I would buy another one but not with the same style mop pad or water tank. I will continue to buy and use Bissell products :)
