Just brought my Bissell powerfresh home today. Put it together in no time flat and did my kitchen/dining room ceramic tile with ease. The pad was DISGUSTING, so I know it did a great job....but what really impressed me was the Hardwood. I have used several different steam mops before....and all of them left streaks to some degree. Some less noticeable than others....so I just figured it was a fact of life. NO NO NO! This steam mop not only did NOT leave streaks....but it shined my Floors beyond my wildest dreams! LOVE LOVE LOVE this Mop!!

I've used a few different steam mops, and this one is the absolute BEST! It heats quickly; uses a good amount of steam; user friendly; easy settings - on/off - 3 steam settings....easy! Easy placement & removal of cleaning pads, and the cleaning brush attached to the back is very helpful. Just a Great, Overall product. I have one in each of our homes and HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

This is absolutely worth the money, I used to own a shark but I broke it recently and so I've been looking into steam mops and it came down to this and another type of shark and what made me really love this was the before and after pictures I kept seeing in the reviews, at first I didn't believe them but the price difference wasn't huge so I took a leap and I've owned a bissell carpet cleaner before and lived it so I assumed the brand itself had some good quality! So I got it home and used it right away and I have all old hardwood floors at a house I just purchased and it cleaned these floors right up and they immediately felt 100 times better I even did it in cheaply laid sticky tile and the difference was amazing how clean they all came! Now I do not recommend everyday use on natural hardwood the steam levels if your not careful can be damaging but with the right use this is a number one steam mop in my book!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love how this steams but the only problem is it does not last very long. We have purchased 2 and are thinking about buying another. We just don't understand why it doesn't last for years like a vacuum does.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've been using this thing for years. Works every time like it did when it was brand new. The pads are washable and still get the floor clean after many years of use (just don't bleach them). Very efficient water use. Can clean the kitchen, laundry room and 3 bathrooms and not run out of water. No clue why people have given bad reviews. I guess a lemon is always possible, but I'd totally buy this again.

I replaced my old Bissell Steam Mop after 10 years. I love the features on this new model. The steam level , large mop pad and easy scrubber are all great features. It is light weight and easy to maneuver. Easy to assemble. I highly recommend this Steam Mop .

I used a sponge mop & bucket for over 25 years and never felt that my floors were really clean. I started doing research on steam mops, and this one was the all around best. I have 20+ year old linoleum and wood floors, so I was a little concerned about using a steam mop. However, when I tried it, I was amazed. No, my linoleum doesn't look brand new, but it does look YEARS newer than it did. As for the wood floors, I had read a lady's review saying that the steam mop stripped the finish off of her wood floor, and maybe it did. When I first tested a spot on my wood floor, I thought it was stripping the finish, too. What I soon realized was that it was actually stripping away years of build-up from cleaners, etc. My wood floors now look brand new! My whole family - my husband, daughter, and son - can all see the difference and FEEL the difference on bare feet! The only "negative" thing I can say is that it doesn't work well in corners or tight spaces (like around toilets). Maybe the triangle foot would work better, but I haven't decided to spend the money on it yet. It does work great right up to baseboards and/or toe moldings. I don't know why I waited twenty-five years to get rid of that nasty mop and bucket; I'm just glad I finally did! My floors are finally truly clean!

I was happily using my Bissell steam cleaner on my tile floor today and it stopped working. I use it every other week and have had it for almost 2 yrs. I can't believe it just died. I tried to figure out the problem but the light switch for the steam setting wont even turn on. Any help would be much appreciated. Maybe the Bissell fairy will mail me a new one LOL.

I really, really wanted to love this mop. I've had Bissell devices in the past and I liked them. This mop was easy to assemble, easy to use, but it left streaks all over my floor, which weren't visible until after it dried. My floor now has this mosaic pattern of shiny patches with dull streaks through it. I've tried washing the mop pads, using it with and without the scent discs, but it still streaks. I did not buy this through the Bissell site, but at a local retailer, to which, I will sadly be returning the mop.

I have to replace the reservoir caps frequently. I just replaced yet another cap, (that was installed probably 4 months ago) again today after the entire reservoir dumped water on my floor, and had to use pliers to remove the broken cap that was stuck in steamer. After putting on yet another new cap, water still leaked out. I am now shopping for another steamer. I have bought and used 5 caps now, and I'm not buying anymore.
