I purchased this steam mop for our adult day center, where cleanliness is essential. We have tile floors, and we have tried all kinds of systems in the past three years, and none were satisfactory. In desperation, I finally decided to try this mop. It is wonderful! So easy to use every day, and does a great job. We also purchased the Zing vacuum to use for little pick-ups after mealtime and for daily cleaning, instead of stirring up dust with a broom. For us, this is a winning combination. We use the vacuum, followed by the steam mop every day, and could not be more pleased with the job they do. We highly recommend both the steam mop and the Zing vacuum.

First of all the only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because my tank cap cracked just a month after purchasing. But after just getting off the phone with bissell's C/S they r sending me a new tank and cap and a return label for the bad one. Couldn't have asked for a better outcome there. Now to the mop. I love the two different mop heads and so easy to put on and take off. The pull tab, great idea. The unit heats up very quickly and has 3 different heat settings. I also love the super long cord. You don't have to constantly unplug to move from room to room. And the scrub brush is works great for the tuff stuff. And finally I feel the steam is better distributed through the head. I have had others that were literally one spot. I love this handy easy to use steam mop. I let my sister take it for a test run while she came to visit and she was so impressed that when she returned home she purchased one also.

This mop does a great job and is surprisingly inexpensive for the quality. My mom bought this for me as a gift and we have enjoyed cleaning our hardwood and tile floors with it. We have not had any issues with streaking on our natural hardwood floors. The water reservoir is not hard to remove (do not agree with other posts that said it was hard to remove). Cord is long. We went ahead and ordered an extra set of mop pads to have when/if the ones it comes with tire out.

As I mentioned, I have a very old dog who regularly has accidents on the linoleum. I used other products to mop the floor and it looked clean, but it wasn't. I mopped so much, over and over, but there was always a lingering dog smell. Now, there is no dog smell at all!!!

I used this and it cleaned great and is easy to use. Heats up quick and does a great job. Even my husband was impressed and coming form him, that says a lot. He is old school and wants to use a mop and bucket. I have tile thru-out my house, appx 1700SF. I did fill water container a second time, but only because I wasn't sure the steam would last, but I believe it would have, without refilling water.

I have mostly laminate and hard wood floors. My floors started to look dingy and streaky. After the first use, you should see how much dirt it picked up. The shine is already returning to my floors. I am sure that after one or two more times, my floors will be just as clean and shiny as when I put them in. Thank you for a great product. The only issue is that the water container is difficult to remove. Maybe the next generation of mops should have some type of clip, lip or latch to assist in getting the water cup out. This steamer is excellent for anyone including disabled and elderly. At 84 years of age it was easy to use right away and was NOT too heavy or large. Also was able to do entire apartment with one container of water. Floors were clean and so much easier than a bucket and mop. A plus that it also sanitizers floors -- even in bath. Thank you Bissell.

Stopped steaming after 7 months, did all the trouble shooting, only used distilled water and was told because I didn't buy their cleaner they would not cover the warranty. No where in the manual does it state to use only Bissell cleaner, it recommends using distilled water which is what I did! Worked great while it lasted. Will never purchase a Bissell product again!

This product works well, HOWEVER, when I first turned it on, it was standing on my hardwood floor (original hardwood - approx. 50 years old). Within seconds, I saw steam coming from the bottom. I thought "Yeah! Its working!" but when I lifted the mop, I saw it had lifted/bubbled the surface of the floor! I re-read the instructions and NO WHERE does it caution about this. I emailed Bissell about this, but their only concern was negotiating compensation, which wasn't my concern. I wanted them to warn people about this.

bought the steam mop and two extra mop pads about three weeks ago. I've been using it religiously at least 2x a day. The 90 lb dog with huge paws, leaves prints all over the house. With the mop, his paw prints vanish on both the laminate and tile flooring. I've owned three different well known brands of steam mops. All have quite working for me within two years. Hopefully this one will last. Plus: variable steam output, large mop head, two types of mop pads to choose from, long cord. Just wish the mop had an off button and an easier way to lift off the water receptacle and some type of water proof pad for the mop to sit on when not in use.
