Last week I spent 4 hours hand scrubbing my kitchen tile. My tile has tiny little divots which fill with dirt over time. My friend suggested a steam mop. I purchased this Bissell steam mop. I used it on my utility room and bathroom that have the same floor tile. Within two minutes I had cleaned the first 12 x 12in tile. This steam mop is amazing, best purchase I have made in years. I am going to order extra pads because one does need to change them frequently, once a pad gets full of water from the steam and collects dirt it isn't as effective.

Just brought my Bissell powerfresh home today. Put it together in no time flat and did my kitchen/dining room ceramic tile with ease. The pad was DISGUSTING, so I know it did a great job....but what really impressed me was the Hardwood. I have used several different steam mops before....and all of them left streaks to some degree. Some less noticeable than others....so I just figured it was a fact of life. NO NO NO! This steam mop not only did NOT leave streaks....but it shined my Floors beyond my wildest dreams! LOVE LOVE LOVE this Mop!!

Bought this steam mop to replace Bissell Steam and Sweep mop. It works well with little or no streaking. It produces more steam but is harder to push than the Steam and Sweep. Fragrance disks don't fit in the pocket in the mop pads unless they are broken in two and don't have any lasting fragrance. I like the three steam settings but find the mop works best when set to the highest setting. Overall I am pleased with this mop.

I have only used this twice and really do like it. Couple of issues in that the mop head keeps wanting to slide off (front). I use that part to try to get to the edge of the floor under cabinets, etc. I checked to see if I have been putting it on correctly and I have. Maybe I am pushing too hard? The floors came out pretty good. I would like to see more direct picked up at the very edge of the floor but guess I will have to figure something else out. They are older linoleum floors. I also ordered extra mop heads to have on hand and they do wash up pretty good. And I don't have to lug a pail of water around which is great.

I have a cleaning service & absolutely love this steam mop ! It is so easy to use & the floors come out much cleaner than the mop & bucket of water mess. You must use distilled water only ! I have 5 big dogs at home & use this steam mop on my bare floors.....it is a life saver !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've been using this thing for years. Works every time like it did when it was brand new. The pads are washable and still get the floor clean after many years of use (just don't bleach them). Very efficient water use. Can clean the kitchen, laundry room and 3 bathrooms and not run out of water. No clue why people have given bad reviews. I guess a lemon is always possible, but I'd totally buy this again.

I love this mop, too! I did a lot of research and this steam mop seems to be the best of the lot. One problem with steam mops in general? You can't mix a cleaning solution with the water. I get that, I don't do it, but I did manage to solve that problem. I am a big fan of Lysol Clean & Fresh Multi-Purpose Cleaner. I use it on everything. It disinfects and everything smells great. I take an empty spray bottle, mix the Lysol half and half with distilled water, fill the spray bottle with this solution, set the spray bottle nozzle on "Stream" and I'm ready to go. As I clean the floor with the steam mop, I simply spray the Lysol solution onto the floor out ahead of the steam mop. Works perfectly. I'm sure I'm not the first to discover this, but here it is anyway. Good luck and enjoy your Bissell Steam Mop!

I really, really wanted to love this mop. I've had Bissell devices in the past and I liked them. This mop was easy to assemble, easy to use, but it left streaks all over my floor, which weren't visible until after it dried. My floor now has this mosaic pattern of shiny patches with dull streaks through it. I've tried washing the mop pads, using it with and without the scent discs, but it still streaks. I did not buy this through the Bissell site, but at a local retailer, to which, I will sadly be returning the mop.

I have had good experiences with Bissell products I have used. I am sure in fact that this steam mop may be fine for certain applications but not my paver- tile floor. I assembled the steam mop quickly and it was ready to use in minutes. As I began to move the mop back and forth, testing an area of my floor it seemed to be cleaning just fine. However when the floor actually dried I could see visible streaks which required physical attention on my part to eliminate. It was not a good cleaning experience for me but again it may work for you. I contacted Bissell and was authorized to return it for a credit which I am in the process of doing. I was told that the credit will take up to four weeks to hit my account.

I am writing this based on one use. This steam mop worked good, it is easy to glide against the tougher stains on the floor. I must admit for tougher grim you will need to go over that area a couple of times to get it clean, but at will eventually come up. This is much better than a mop that you have to use your hand to squeeze the water out. It comes with an power fresh tab that you put in the mop pad which smells good. Furthermore, I did read that you have to use distilled water so I will try that next time. Overall, it's the best steam cleaner that I've ever had so far.
