I won this Bissell so that was a big plus... I love the 3 different settings n the fact that it gets hot n stays hot n steamy the entire time. It has a small container in where the water goes in and shocking enought it does hold enough water to clean 2 big rooms. Love the fact that it has a scrubber on the bottom. With 5 kids at home, football, basketball n non stop running in n out of the house only means that i really needed a good steamer. That's for a great product!!!!

I bought the 1940 steam mop for my beachfront condo, and it worked perfectly for a year. Even with my seven grandchildren tracking salt and sand onto the tile floors, the tile and grout look as clean as the day they were new. On the high traffic areas I pretreat with ammonia and water in a spray bottle. It takes six to eight pads to clean 1100 sq feet, and the floors are magnificent. The secret is to go slowly so the steam gets into the grout, and change the pads frequently! Then throw them into the washing machine and you're ready for the next time. The mop stopped working after one year, the electrical connection failed, but I called Bissell customer service and in 10 days had a brand new unit. Thank you, Bissell! I have had a few Shark mops before this, and they don't begin to compare...the grout doesn't get clean, and it strips the finish off wood floors. Bissell is the way to go! I'm a happy Nana!

I have only used this twice and really do like it. Couple of issues in that the mop head keeps wanting to slide off (front). I use that part to try to get to the edge of the floor under cabinets, etc. I checked to see if I have been putting it on correctly and I have. Maybe I am pushing too hard? The floors came out pretty good. I would like to see more direct picked up at the very edge of the floor but guess I will have to figure something else out. They are older linoleum floors. I also ordered extra mop heads to have on hand and they do wash up pretty good. And I don't have to lug a pail of water around which is great.

I first purchased this mop in Nov 2014. It works so well brand new out of the box. Perfect steam, really clean floors. Sadly, it started leaking water out the back valve and "groaning" in Jan 2015, and Bissell sent me a replacement. The second one lasted from Feb 2015 until Summer 2015. Again, I called Bissell and they sent me ANOTHER replacement. I was very careful with this one to keep it clean, use distilled water, etc. but today it, too, started making a horrible whining noise and leaking out the back. 3 dead mops in 16 months. NOT WORTH IT.

I did purchased a second Power Fresh steam mop in case this one quits. It is the best steam mop I have ever used. My floors are totally clean when I am finished mopping. I did find if you have smooth tile which we added to the master bath, it will streak. If you have textured tile which I have all over the bottom floor of our home it does not streak. I highly recommend this steam mop. The Shark I had before was not nearly as good as this one. When you take the cloth off the bottom of this cleaner it is so hot. I know my floors are getting a good cleaning. Maureen B.

Pad falls off constantly, burning hands when trying to replace. Awful. Now after only 2 years of light use, only for kitchen floor no kids and no pets, the machine has failed. A waste of money and when trying to use a constant irritant. Would be interested in what the company has to say about it. I am really upset about this and very unlikely to purchase any more Bissell products.

I have purchased TWO of these machines and within 4 months both machines stopped sending out steam and just poured hot water out of the back! I used only distilled water and used the machine on my tile floor. I only used the first one for 5 months and the second one for 4 months. Horrible quality and I will never purchase another Bissell product. Save yourself some money and DO NOT BUY ONE!

I just bought it today and I cleaned my wood and tile floors. The floors dried quick, no streaking, and I love how much longer the cord is compared to other steam mops. When I notice it had a scent disc I thought to myself I won't be using these, what a waste. But I popped one in and it smelled great. The scent last for a couple of hours.So far so good! I hope this will continue to be a good experience.

I've had the Steam Mop for a couple weeks now and couldn't be more pleased. I thought my floors were clean before so I was surprised to see how dirty the pad was. The mop is very light and the long cord makes it possible to plug it in once and do all my floors. I can move from my hard wood to my tile floors in a split second.

Truly a pleasure to use - and that's said by someone that would rather do anything but clean. Light weight, easy to operate and cleans beautifully. Living in the country, having livestock, dogs and cats - well, you can see that cleaning can be a real chore. The PowerFresh Steam Mop makes that chore easy - thank you Bissell !
