We bought it based on the recommendation of the person who put in our hard wood floors. It worked great at first and then after a year (yes past the warranty period) it stopped putting out steam to the floor. I went through all the steps suggested in another review and still no steam. We purchased Bissell as we expected high quality and quality to last. Very disappointed.

I JUST RECEIVED POWER FRESH STEAM MOP LAST WEEK. I USE IT FOR THE FIRST TIME THIS WEEK END. I COULDN'T BELIEVE MY EYES IT TOOK AWAY ALL OF THE DIRT AND MORE! I HAVE BEEN USING SWIFFER WET JET FRO ABOUT A YEAR AND I HAD TO REPLACE THE WHOLE ITEM AS THE HANDLER BROKE. ALL IT DID WAS PUSH ALL OF THE DIRT IN THE CORNER AND SIDE OF THE WALL. POWER FRESH STEAM MOP REMOVE ALL OF THE DIRT IN THE CORNER AND SIDE. IT DONE WHAT SWIFFER JET MOP COULDN'T DO! AFTER USING POWER FRESH STEAM MOP FOR THE FIRST TIME MY FLOOR LOOK GREAT LIKE NEW! ONLY THING I WISH IT HAD A SHUT OFF SWITCH ON THE HANDLE AND A LONGER CORD LIKE 30 FOOT. OTHER WISE I'M VERY PLEASE AND WOULD BUY OTHER ONE WHEN THIS ONE WEAR OUT (HOPE NOT SOON) THANK YOU BISSELL SAM

This product works well, HOWEVER, when I first turned it on, it was standing on my hardwood floor (original hardwood - approx. 50 years old). Within seconds, I saw steam coming from the bottom. I thought "Yeah! Its working!" but when I lifted the mop, I saw it had lifted/bubbled the surface of the floor! I re-read the instructions and NO WHERE does it caution about this. I emailed Bissell about this, but their only concern was negotiating compensation, which wasn't my concern. I wanted them to warn people about this.

We have only hard floors in our house, including porcelain tile and 65 year old oak flooring. I was very dissatisfied with the squirt and mop approach suggested by the floor refinishers - the oak floors were just not clean. (We have dogs, big ones.) A friend was using a steam mop on her wooden floors and liked it. I researched a few products and bought the Power Fresh mop 4 months ago. It's great, that's all I can say. Easy to use, no chemicals and the floors are actually clean now. They just look much better. I am very satisfied with this product.

I was using a swiffer wet jet to clean my wood floors, and they never seemed clean afterwards. I purchased this mop, and wow!!! It cleans my floors so much better. As an experiment I used the swiffer and then went over it with the steam mop and the mop cloth was brown after just cleaning it. I love it!!

Vast improvement over the old Shark cleaner I hated to use ! Requires minimal refills for approx. 1100 square feet of ceramic tile flooring, and is a pleasure to use. Cleans surprisingly well with little effort. I am pleased with this purchase; it actually motivates me to clean more often ! Money well spent. I can't truthfully comment on reliability since I've only used it twice since the purchase. Hopefully, it will perform to Bissell standards for a reasonable (2 years ?) time.

5 stars for customer service. 3 stars for the steam mop due to reliability issue. The steam mop could have been a 5-star if it did not break down less than 18 months. Luckily I'm still within the 2-yr warranty. So the jury is still out on the reliability issue. With that said, the steam mop cleans very well, especially on tiles. I also have used on laminated hardwood floor (on medium setting thou). Overall, it reduces the cleaning time from 30 mins to 15 mins compared to the traditional mop. I highly recommend this steam mop to anyone out there. Register your steam mop so you can take advantage of the warranty. Customer service is great. Just one phone call and Bissell is sending me a new steam mop. I did buy the mop directly from bissell.com.

I love this mop! It's light and easy to use. I love that it has constant steam at a level you choose. No more pumping for steam! I wish the water tank was bigger but it's a normal size, I just have a lot of area to clean. After I steamed my floors I wiped a clean white rag over the floor and there was NO dirt on the rag. It cleans very well and dries without streaking. Love the size of the cleaning pad too, it's larger than other steam mops I've used. For the very reasonable price, it's a great mop! (This is my first Bissell product)

I am in a wheelchair and have a hard time with the bigger cleaning equipment, with this machine it is so easy to use even my 6 year old loves it. The water tank is so light weight that even filled it's easy to change/add water. Works excellent on bamoo flooring without stripping vaneer so still looking like new

Cleans tile floor, wood flooring too, leaves it completely spotless. My mom borrowed it, she said it was a waste of money, she used it, she loves it and now wants to buy one for herself. Her floor gets dirty so easily, smudgy, black stains, she has white tile flooring. She used it and all the dirt comes off easily. Buy it, makes cleaning much easier and faster. Even my husband "mops", easy to use even he can do it without complaining.
