I used my Powerfresh Steam Mop for the first time today & cannot believe how superior this product is compared to my last 2 mops from another brand. It was so easy to put together. I did not have issues removing the tank as some reviewers indicated. Just grab tightly by the sides & pull upwards. When the tank is empty the mop gives off a loud clicking sound. I cleaned 2000 sq ft in my entire home on 1.5 tanks of Bissell citrus water. My husband did not think our tiled floors were dirty until I showed him the dirt on the high quality mop pad! My floors are spotless! Pad is already machine warm washed & air drying for the next time. I am so happy with is product!

I purchased the Model 1940 on line approximately one year ago. The unit started to leak when in use. I called Bissell to find out what might be the case. Their agent explained that the leak is the result of a clog in the water system. The graciously agreed to the return of the unit with replacement by a new model. Couldn't have been more satisfied. I have had 2 competitor steam mops in the past. Both were disappointments as they had very little steam. The Bissell Steam Mop is superior in performance. I love that I can adjust the amount of steam depending on the floor type. It heats quickly and cleans in one sweep of the mop. I will never scrub a floor on my hands and knees again. This mop was the answer. Thank you for a quality product at a fair price.

First of all the only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because my tank cap cracked just a month after purchasing. But after just getting off the phone with bissell's C/S they r sending me a new tank and cap and a return label for the bad one. Couldn't have asked for a better outcome there. Now to the mop. I love the two different mop heads and so easy to put on and take off. The pull tab, great idea. The unit heats up very quickly and has 3 different heat settings. I also love the super long cord. You don't have to constantly unplug to move from room to room. And the scrub brush is works great for the tuff stuff. And finally I feel the steam is better distributed through the head. I have had others that were literally one spot. I love this handy easy to use steam mop. I let my sister take it for a test run while she came to visit and she was so impressed that when she returned home she purchased one also.

I like how good it does on my tile. But I HATE how it shuts off and you have to wait to reheat it. I also think the rotating head is bulky and hard to use. Never seems to want to turn the right way, especially when you have the scrubbing pad on. I like to get my kids involved in the cleaning, and compared to the Haan, they do not like it. I consistently hear them grumbling about the way it moves and how it shuts off. If I ever get the energy I will most likely pack it up and return it.

I recently purchased the power fresh steam mop after reading many of the reviews. I agree with all of the comments, it is easy to use, i like the swivel head feature. My one complaint is that the floor gets very wet. I have used other steam mops and that never happened. It seems I am the only one that had this problem. Any suggestions.

I live with my 18-year-old son, and our nine-month-old dog. I used other mops, with the bucket of chemical-water, that would leave sticky residue, or dirty streaks. The first time I used my Steam Mop, all I did was sweep, and turned it on high. By the time I was done with the second section of my kitchen, the first section was spotless and dry! I could hardly believe that something this simple, could do such an amazing job! Next job, hard-wood floor in the dining room, and then the laundry room, where the dog has her food and water bowls, and her kennel. Thank you for such an easy and thorough cleaning system! So simple to use it is a pleasure to steam mop tile and vinyl floors (and it does a great job on the tile counter tops in the kitchen and bathrooms, too)! Quick and very effective cleaning results are a vast improvement over the "old way" (hot water and a mop). Twice a week cleaning carries away all the dirt tracking from two large dogs, one old messy cat, and two adult gardeners not known for removing shoes at the door consistently. Liked it so much I bought one for my daughter who also gave me a rave review. Very easy to assemble. Bought an extra set of pads and use distilled water. Glad I spent a little extra $ to get this particular steam mop--worth the investment for this great product.

It is a machine that any pet owner should welcome in their home without pets and humans to the use of harmful chemicals.

Love the steam mop, however after having it for about 3 months it started to leak. After a little investigating I discovered the cap for the water tank has a large crack in it. I read many reviews from various sites about the steam mop prior to making my purchase and noted that some people complained of the cap cracking so I have always been careful not to crank it down too tight. But even after always being careful, mine still cracked, it makes me wonder if it's defective.
