I purchased the power fresh a year ago. Love it!!!!! I gave it a five star review but.... I wish the water dispenser was easier to detach. Kind of hard to get a good grip on. Other that that, I love the cleaning power. The floors are old vinyl but it cleaned all the old accumulated dirt out beautifully. I just purchased two more for family members. BISSELL didn't have stock, they researched and found where I could purchase what I needed, thanks for that. Did I mentioned I loved it!!!!!! Tossed my old mop and I will never go back. Get in more stock cause word of mouth should afford more sales. Thanks again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tile flooring I've had this product for seven years and it works perfectly just like it did on day one. I put distilled water in it as that is when it calls for. Maybe that's why it's lasted so long. I love it.

A product that actually does what the manufacturer says it does and then some. Out of the box, easy to assemble with a quick glance at the directions and ready to use and used in the first 20 minutes after I got it. Does a wonderful job on hardwood and tile floors. Ordered some extra cleaning pads because the tile and grout in two baths and kitchen seem to unravel them a bit but other than that this machine is great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this steamer, had high Hope's for it, and it work for a while but then it started to mess up. It pours out water from the the back, my floors get soaked in water, not from the steam but from the water coming out from behind it.

Many times, I've mopped the floor tiles by my front door, with tiles heading left to the master bedroom and to the right toward the dining room. I came to realize that I was never really cleaning the tiles or grout. I was just making them temporarily shiny on top of a layer of dirt that got down into the tiles' and grout's pores, nooks, and crannies (the tiles are not a flat surface). The PowerFresh Steam Mop lives up to its name. It was steaming as much as I was sweating, but the difference after just one mopping is noticeable (and a bit embarrassing, due to how dirty my floor actually was). Another round with the mop brought up even more dirt and grime, and I need to mop once more to remove the shadows that linger on some tiles. This is not to say the steam mop doesn't do a good job -- it does. But after a decade of never truly cleaning (besides tidying or making shiny) the tiles and grout, I had my work cut out for me. Word to the wise: Don't add any formula or detergent to the mop's fluid holder. Just water, preferably filtered to prevent mineral build-up. I've used both of the scented demineralized waters Bissell sells for the mop. Both smelled good in the bottle. The orange scent didn't linger. The eucalyptus did, but the scent was faint and I don't think anyone visiting would notice. But they are still a good source of water for the mop if you have tap water that's hard.

I actually won this steam mop, and I was so excited to use it.. It works great and is easier for me since I have arthritis and there is no wringing of a rag mop or anything. It cleaned the floor to a squeeking clean.. No more sticky floors. Can't say enough about it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love how this just picked up everything that has been stuck on the tile and hardwood floors. I have to use it on the carpets but I see that it is gonna refresh those carpets nicely. I used a traditional mop system before and this steam mop blew me out of the water. I didn't realize my floors were so dirty. Let me tell you I do mop at least once a week. We sweep two to three times a week.

I was happily using my Bissell steam cleaner on my tile floor today and it stopped working. I use it every other week and have had it for almost 2 yrs. I can't believe it just died. I tried to figure out the problem but the light switch for the steam setting wont even turn on. Any help would be much appreciated. Maybe the Bissell fairy will mail me a new one LOL.

We have primarily hardwood floors, and have been using this mop for a couple of years now. By far the best steam mop I have used. Doesn't need chemicals, just add water and go. It was really handy when we had a dog to clean up those messy paw prints. Now with kids, it seems to be just the thing to clean up dried up messy food spills and all the other stuff that makes the floors look dirty. Sometimes if the mop is turned up to high stream, there are streaks after cleaning the floor, but not while using the low setting. really happy with this mop and how it makes the floors go from dirty to clean. Plus the mop heads are washable or you can buy new ones when they have gone past their usefulness.

I liked this mop when I first bought in. In fact, my daughter bought the same mop upon my recommendation. However, both of our mops have failed in the same place. The flimsy plastic cap on the water bottle cracked and rendered the mop useless. Now that I read other reviews, I can see that this problem occurs with some frequency. I see that I can buy replacement caps, but what a pain! I would not recommend this mop based upon the failure rate of this tiny plastic part. Seems to me that if the part were metal, the mop would be way more reliable.
