after having a hand held, (for only one week) and being very frustrated at the lack of cleaning I bought this one and have been putting off using it, afraid I would be disappointed. I was not. I have a small bath with white tile and white grout. dirty all the time. I started using it and thought this is not working, and about that time, It is white again. Maybe next time it will be easier. I was wondering if I could pretreat my floors with a cleaner, and steam the cleaner? I think it would work faster, but don't want to harm the cleaner. does anyone know?

This is my first steam mop and I'm in love with it. The chord is long enough to clean my entire living room without having to plug it out. (I have a big living room) I really like the settings, the first setting that is low, I use to clean my hard wood floor, the 2nd medium heat I use for tile. The 3rd hottest setting tends to let the floor take longer to dry because it leaves a wet streak, the brush on the cleaner is a big plus, it get rids of hard on food on kitchen floor. For 2 years I was using swifter and it cost a lot in the long run. I needed 3 of the wet wipes just to clean my living room. Now one full tank of water cleans both my living room and kitchen. This is a great investment that cleans and sanitize my whole house. No more paying for cleaners. Very happy owner.

I've tried 2 other steam cleaners and this absolutely surpasses both of them. A neighbor told me about the Bissell Power Fresh and I totally ignored her until I stopped using a house cleaning company. The neighbor had a minor problem with their steam mop and they raved about the incredible customer service. So, I now have my own, and with a large amount of tile, I love it! The water tank is larger than the others and the power cord is much longer. You don't have to stop everything to add water - easy and quick - plus it takes only 60 seconds or less to heat the water. The floor is so clean, I love to walk barefoot on it1 Amazing!

The designers at Bissell Corp. must not have arthritis and have never had to remove the water container with arthritic fingers. It's very painful; it has also removed the shine on my vinyl floor in areas, if you let it sit in one spot too long. therefore, I have only used my PowerFresh about 4 times since I received it as a Christmas gift from my grandchildren last year. I use a sponge mop. It would have been nice to have a handle on it, so it could be easily pulled straight up. Of course if it were made of plastic, the handle would eventually break off, I'm sure. I have a Bissell Featherweight sweeper, and I love it.

I have had two other steam mops and this one is head over heals above the others. I can get between things, it has great temperature range, and a cord that is long enough to get to the other end of my kitchen,so sweet. The water tank can be removed which makes it easy to add the water and dump it out when you are finished and It gets the floors clean without leaving them to wet. It was easy to put together .This one is 100% women friendly.

I bought this steam mop with high hopes that it would work on the linoleum/vinyl(I'm not sure which it is) floors in the house we recently purchased. I'm pretty sure the floors are original from when the house was built in 1985 and they were looking pretty rough. I'd tried scrubbing on my hands and knees, tried mopping EVERY DAY with a wet pad mop, tried just about everything and the floors still looked dull and aged and dirty. This steam mop has infused them with new life! I AM SO IMPRESSED! I mopped 3 times the first day I brought it home because after the first use I could see the floor starting to try to shine again! It was super easy to use and it is coaxing my floors back to life. I feel like I can live with this linoleum now whereas before I frowned and grumbled every time I walked down the hall and through the kitchen. The pattern is dated but this steam mop has made them shine! Made them happy! Most importantly it's made ME happy! I love that it's just steam, no chemicals or cleaners needed, I love that my old, original linoleum/vinyl is shining and LOOKS CLEAN and FEELS CLEAN. The only problem is the mop pad seems to slide out of the seating and then the mop is a little difficult to push straight on, I just turn it sideways and it moves around the floor quite easily. I can live with that because this thing CLEANS, easy to operate, I'm happy, my floors are happy, it's everything I wanted and needed!

Wonderful product! It heats as promised; within 30 seconds. It thoroughly cleans my small kitchen and two bathrooms within 20 minutes. Be sure to always sweep before steam cleaning. It used to take a lot longer with a bucket, mop, cleaner, rinsing, etc. Now all I use is filtered water from the faucet and after 30 sec. of heating, I set the steamer on its highest setting (there are three), and off I go. The steamer is light, maneuvers easily, and cleans superbly. My daughter foster kittens/cats and she has a dog and her own cat. Now I never have to worry about the cleaning solution left on the floor while drying. Not only does the steamer clean very well, it dry's quicker than anything I have ever used. Buy it! You will never use another product again. It will also, in the long term, save a lot of money given you now never have to buy another cleaning solution for the floors.

The Bissell PowerFresh™ Steam Mop is impressive. Although we have only uses the mop on two occasions, we are amazed at the results. We used the mop on our 'pergo' type kitchen floor, bathroom ceramic tiles and on our living room's sealed 'manufactured wood' floors. We had been using "Swifter Products" and we never felt our floors were ever really cleaned. The first time we used the Bissell mop on our kitchen floor we were amazed at how much dirt was removed and how sparkly clean it became. After mopping the bathroom, the tiles shone as bright as the day they were installed. We were nervous when mopping the manufactured wood surface but it turned out beautifully. We are glad we didn't buy a lower priced product from another manufacturer. Trust the reviews this is a top product.

I bought this steam mop and it leaked so Bissell replaced it. I won't buy another one because of the following: 1) The water reservoir is hard to remove from the mop. I have broken several fingernails removing it. 2) The pads become saturated very quickly. I operate mine on low and by the time I do my short galley kitchen the pad is soaked which then leaves a lot of water on the floor. 3) I left water in the reservoir and stored it. When I returned, the water had leaked out. 4) It does not stand well on its own without leaning against something.

I used it for the first time and was very impressed. I like the light tells me it I ready. The feature to be able to control the amount of steam is awesome. I couldn't believe how well it cleaned and was very easy to use. I am looking forward to it preforming as well with each use.
