This product uses less water than a traditional mops, dries fast and cleans perfectly. . As Im 62 yrs with a bad back; it light weigh with less bending & twisting. Best purchase I have made in a very long time.

So my Bissell Steam mop recently died a quiet death. Rather than replace it with the same one, I upgraded to PowerFresh Steam Mop. Am I glad I did! I have several cats and dogs and tile floors. Both are bound to have accidents and this mop really cleans it up. I love the attachments. They work just about anywhere in the house and are super easy to use. Super happy with my purchase!

I researched this product type for a while and hands down I made the right choice. The water tank lasted a long time and the mop covers are very durable. Don't let them dry out...put in washer when you're done and DON'T dry in dryer. Absolutely works great on my hardwood and tile floors. Great product! Thanks Bissell.

This is my first mop steam cleaner. Good features such as; smart set steam control panel, easy refill water tank with no spill feature, swivel maneuverability, easy pad remover, cord wrap, and assembling. Even though there is no power switch to cut off power supply to the unit the heating element does shut off if you touch the steam control panel back to steam level, the steamer will cool down until ready to use it again. To be on the safe side unplug the cord when not in use. The only feature that doesn't seem to be effective is the removable easy scrubber. It may do the job if the grouts are sealed. If not it's almost impossible to clean like new. To Bissell Consumer Care, please follow up on this. It would be nice to know how hot the water reaches its operating temperature. I know boiling point is 212 degrees but it is unlikely for a consumer product to be that hot. My guess would be 140 degrees. On the product box and manual instructions it doesn't state how hot the steamer gets. Its rarely published by the manufactures the operating temperature level. For the record I would like to know what is the maximum temperature of this unit when it gets hot. Some units operated at lower or higher temperatures then this unit. Over all, model 1940 is a great mop steam cleaner for household consumer use. As for longevity of this product that will be evaluated over time. I hope it will give me many years of good use. Two year limited warranty is pretty good. Most only offer one year. Good job Bissell!

I never new I could be in love with a steam mop! This makes cleaning floors a whole new experience, it was super quick and easy, and very effective. I will be telling all my friends and family about this excellent product, it's a must-have for floors.

I fought my daughter for years over buying a steam cleaner. I did not think they were worth the money. I have changed my mind, but it took our swiffer wet jet dying to change my mind. My daughter went online a bought the steam cleaner and once it got here, she unpacked it and put it to work, It cleans great! It goes into spaces that I did not think it would, like between the toilet and the wall...It heats up quickly - less than 15 seconds. The only thing I do NOT like is that the water that goes in it must be distilled water...another thing to buy... I love that you can change the pads out and wash them - not having to buy new ones every time you use it. Bottom line is I am very satisfied with this purchase...

I bought this in Sep. 2015. Used for less than 10 times, the cap of the water tank broke. Contacted Bissell, a replacement was sent to me at no cost in Nov. 2016. After another 10 uses, the cap of the water tank broke. Looks like the water tank has about the same life span as the mop pad. Very disappointed with the quality. When the cap is good, the mop cleans my hardwood floor in the kitchen well. 2 star for Bissell's service and the cleaning result.

I am using the Bissell Steam cleaner on my new home which has all white tile throughout. I am a Senior citizen and cannot get on my hands and Knees to clean floors. This cleaner works great and even gets close to the baseboards. I especially like the fragrance discs So happy with my purchase.

I have only used it once and I really like it. It did and excellent job, quick and easy. I have used it on both tile and hardwood and it does both equally well. I like the idea that without a lot of prep work you can just pull it out load it with water and in 10 minutes do touch-up from a spill. Excellent product.

I've had this mop for 2 years. It started leaking about 6 months ago from a little port on the back of the unit so I contacted Bissell. They advised cleaning it a certain way, which we tried. Didn't work, so my husband cleaned it with his air compressor which released a lot of calcium deposits (we do not have hard water and have a whole house filter). Worked ok for about one more time and then leaked again. We don't use this often as we have hardwoods in most of the house and primarily use it in our large tile bathroom. Now I'm having trouble with another Bissell product that I've had a little over a year. I may never purchase another Bissell product as they have such a short life expectancy for the money.
