I have owned three steam mops in the past 20 years and the Bissell Power Fresh is the best ever! I used to hate my kitchen tile floor which has a non-smooth surface with lots of spots for grime to accumulate. I just used the Bissell for the first time and WOW it cleaned it so well! I would highly recommend this machine!

I like how good it does on my tile. But I HATE how it shuts off and you have to wait to reheat it. I also think the rotating head is bulky and hard to use. Never seems to want to turn the right way, especially when you have the scrubbing pad on. I like to get my kids involved in the cleaning, and compared to the Haan, they do not like it. I consistently hear them grumbling about the way it moves and how it shuts off. If I ever get the energy I will most likely pack it up and return it.

The only reason I did not give this 5 stars was due to it was to replace the old mod and bucket for my mom, but I think this may be tiring for her to push on some surfaces (tiled floor). Not that she cannot but due to her back issues it may be difficult. I can use it with ease and one tank of water allows me to do my kitchen, den, and dining room. I don't know the square footage but it beats the mop and bucket routine hands down. Plus the benefit of the steam killing the germs opposed to hot water in a bucket. Cord is long and the entire unit is light. I hope to get many years of use out of it.

I have a small house cleaning business and I LOVE this steam mop!! before i bought the specific floor soulitions, using just steam myself and my clients were totally amazed at the amount of dirt that would come up even if we moped using something else before hand! Now with the solutions I feel i does even better! I would recommened this to anyone!! Def worth the money!!

I have just gone through my 3rd PowerFresh steam mop. It is absolutely the best thing I have ever used for my tile and laminate wood flooring. The bummer is they last maybe 6 months before problems start with the mop. My latest one has steam dripping out he back and will no longer heat up. I don't want to send it the cut cord again for a new one! I just want one that works properly for more than a year. I'm going to throw this one out with the trash and buy a different brand that gets good reviews. Totally bummed because I literally use this mop daily and now I'm out my favorite cleaning tool!

Okay first, I am NOT a paid review person for Bissel. I purchased these products based on my needs. I needed something quick and easy to use. I first purchased the Bissel 3 in 1 Turbo booster Vacuum. Love it. But will post that review on that product. I had an old H20 Steam mop that I loved, but took it and left it at a place I regularly clean, so I needed a now steam mop. From reading comparisions and reviews, I chose the Bissel Powerfresh 1940 Steam Mop. It was very easy to assemble. Now ready to clean. I vacuumed and steam cleaned 3 rooms in record time. First I shook out my rugs and quickly vacuumed with my 3 in 1 Turbo, now for the steam cleaning. Plugged in my steam mop. Didn't take too long to heat. I used the middle steam setting. Yes, it left a little water on the floor, but so does a mop and bucket water. It cleaned up my hairspray spots with ease. Maneuvered well around the toilet and shower area. It worked so fast and well, I went on to clean another bathroom and the Kitchen floor. (All while the baby was taking a cat nap). In the Kitchen, I loved how it swiveled around in the corners and around the chairs with ease. When used with the sweeper, I was able to clean all 3 rooms in less than 30 minutes. I did not move and do under the kitchen table. But was able to clean and disinfect the main area. I used the fragrance disk, it did not have a powerful smell. Purchasing these same products for my daughter who has 3 toddlers. I used it on Ceramic Tile floor and Linoleum Floor

I bought based on recommendation from a friend on FB. So easy to assemble and does a great job, just with hot steamed water! Simple to use, easily maneuverable in corners and around furniture, pad is easy to put on/off. Love the scented disc. Using just half so far. Great fresh smell in my kitchen and bathroom. Plan to use on dining room wood floor next. The water container is easy to remove and insert. Great product!!!

Bought this machine as a gift for my daughter because of all the good reviews... Everyone was right on with their reviews... She even brought it to my house and cleaned and it was wonderful!!! Highly recommend this machine ... You will not be disappointed. Only negative comment would be that it was hard to clean tight spaces in a small bathroom area.

I do really love this machine....as I mentioned I had the previous version of this mop and had it for more than 7 years....the only reason I had to get a new one is mine fell over and that cracked the tank...but this new one stands and balances on its own so that is a great new improvement....but the old version had a trigger to let the water and steam go...the new one just goes...I prefer the trigger but that is really minor...I still love this for cleaning the floors....I have hardwood, Tile and vinyl and I go right through from one room to the other with no problems. I like the new disc that goes in for perfume smell but you do not need it...and it lasts a long time...so that is good....this one also has a scrub part on the back which is nice for stubborn stains or marks on the floors....I wish it came with more than one of the furry mop heads...I dont really like the other new kind of mop head it has....did not think it did such a good job and I go through at least 2 mops when I do the whole downstairs at once...I really could use 3....also used to get 2 at a time in the refills and not only get one....so I would advise getting some extra mops when you order it but I do really love the mop and it does a great job.

I love this mop. I have an old house that still has rubber tiled flooring. There is a lot of high traffic areas (with pets, kids, etc.). This type of tile really holds the dirt! Both my husband and I had to get on hands and knees to scrub this floor clean. That was usually an all-day project. In 2 hours, my floor was clean! I highly recommend that the instructions that are given with this steam mop are followed! We used distilled water ONLY. Worked GREAT! I am so very happy with this unit. Very easy to use.
