I got to use my PowerFresh Steam Mop today for the first time, and I love it. The large mop head makes the task go so much quicker. The fresh scent pad leaves the floor with pleasant aroma when finished. The selection of steam settings allows you to make choices based on the amount of soil on the floor.

I dislike, no hate, to mop floors. My back would hurt, etc. This mop is so easy and lightweight that I do not mind this chore so much now. The floors truly are cleaner. I have tile and laminate. I lightly spray wood floor cleaner on the laminate as I glide the mop. This leaves the floor shiny with no streaks. My grout areas on the tile still need work, but I must admit this dirt was built up over time. I hope it is ok to put grout cleaner and then mop. Maybe I will need to replace the mop head more often, but I think it is worth it. I have seven cats, and the washable mop head is fantastic at grabbing the fur. I am now a Bissell fan!

This is so easy to use and with a bad knee I am unable to scrub floors. This takes all the work out of cleaning the floors. It even removes hairspray residue on my bathroom floor. I really like it because it cleans without chemicals, and with a cat, I don't want my pet ingesting cheimicals after walking on the floor. I had another steam mop manufactured by a different company, and it didn't clean as well and it died on me about a year after I purchased it.

I have three dogs and I must say, this is The BEST mop I have ever owned!!!! My floors are clean in a fraction of the time, with impressive results, and without all the chemicals. If you are hesitant, do yourself a favor, make the purchase, you won't be sorry!!!!!! I also purchased the 3-in-1 vac which makes sweeping all that dog hair a breeze!!!

For the past 5 years I have used a Shark steam mop. My 3rd one finally died and I read the reviews for this Bissell 1940 and decided to give it a try. I will NEVER go back to a Shark steam mop again! I love all the features of my Bissell, the carpet glider has helped sanitize my carpet after a family round of the flu hit this past spring. I would love to have a handheld steamer by Bissell because I am sure it would surpass any others on the market. The warranty on this mop is phenomenonal and it proves Bissell stands by their products. The handle on this mop is great for taller people, you don't have to bend over to mop. I highly recommend this steam mop over any other brand out there!

I had a Sharp steam mop and never liked it. Stopped working after a short period. I got on line and saw the Bissell Power Fresh steam mop had a good review. I ordered the Bissell Power Fresh and the first time I used it I loved it. So easy to put the water in, had steam in a few seconds, did not put a puddle of water on floor, like the Sharp, just steam. Clean my tile floors so good. The pads and extra brush attachment are wonderful. Love it, beats Sharp steam mop 100%

I had a first-generation Eureka steamer that I loved but it had reached its end and I needed another. After reading the reviews on all the steamers out there, I opted for the Bissell, a decision I do not regret. It puts down more water than the Eureka did, which means the floors take longer to dry, but it does an excellent job. I especially like that you have two types of cleaning pads. The fragrance disks, though, are way too intense and I will not be using them again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I first bought this steam mop about 3 years ago, it worked for about 1 year and then stopped, but I liked the way it cleaned so well, that I bought another. This model has worked fine for the past 2 years. I like cleaning with steam, not using chemicals and it cleans quickly. But, I struggle to get the container off the mop to fill with the distilled water. I have to pry it off with a butter knife or large spoon and even then it takes quite a while to loosen it. I hope they can improve this going forward.

My husband bought this for me. It does work nicely however after the first use my pad looked like it started to melt/burn. I used it as directed. I also have a hard time pushing things due to a shoulder injury. It is NOT the easiest thing to move around.

I did love this steam mop until I went to use it and it was not working. Unit stopped producing steam but still heats up which could be a fire hazard. We tried all the troubleshooting recommendations on the website but nothing worked. Very disappointed considering we barely used this unit as we normally have a cleaner who uses her own mop. It's products like these that fill up our landfills. Very disappointed
