I live on a dirt road, so enough said. Received the product today, and after vacuuming, I used the scrubby mop head on my old linoleum kitchen floor and newer vinyl in the hall. Cannot believe how well the floors cleaned up and have not seen them looking that good in years. The steam gets to all corners of the mop head and I was surprised how well it cleaned right up to the edge of the baseboards and carpet transition strip. When the mop pad got dirty, I took it off and rinsed it well with hot water and kept on going. The house smells great with the scent disc and I'm so proud of how great the floors look. No regular mop could clean this well. I might even consider having guests over now ...

Over the years, I've tried every kind of mop and floor cleaning product that has come along. Hated most...tolerated others. It was such a messy, unsatisfactory chore that I didn't mop for weeks. I would just spot clean. I've only had my steam mop for a few weeks, but now mopping is actually fun. It's so easy and the results are so satisfying. Plus, I don't need those special cleaning solutions just a little vinegar if I want to add some extra punch. Thanks for a great product!

I purchased the Bissell Power Fresh steam mop from your website and that was a mistake, because if I return it I will have to pay shipping, get a new box, etc...and I notice the smell after my 30 day return policy...because I was using the free scented water...I got the steam mop because of the reviews, and to replace my old one from another company which I still prefer, I used that one for long time until I guess died on me. Even if I don't want to, I have to compare both of them, the Bissell mop takes forever to start making steam, even if you turn it on and set it to the best steam, is not fast enough, the other thing is the container where the water goes is so hard to take it out, my question is who designed this?? Should have a little handle to pull it out...the microban mop gets really stain and smelly and when I use it still has that bad smell of wet-dirt even after one day on Clorox.. When I used it on my kitchen floor or house entrance I can smell that bad odor for a little while ...I have a dog and that didn't happened with my other steam mop...maybe I was expecting something better from Bissell and yes, I'm disappointed, now I will have to put something else on the floor to get that smell out every time I used the mop. I tried the discs and the scented water but that only covers the smell, I have a clean house and I know is not my floor, is something with the mop, maybe is not hot enough or something like that...

I've only used this item a few times, but it did a great job of cleaning. It left my 5 year old floors looking like new! As a test, I mopped the floor first the way I usually do. After they dried I went over them again with my new Bissell 1940. I couldn't believe how dirty the cleaning pad was when I finished! I threw the filthy cleaning in the washing machine and it came out looking new.

As I mentioned, I have a very old dog who regularly has accidents on the linoleum. I used other products to mop the floor and it looked clean, but it wasn't. I mopped so much, over and over, but there was always a lingering dog smell. Now, there is no dog smell at all!!!

I am in love with this steam mop! It's by far the best one I've ever used and I've tried 3 other brands. This is why I was so sad when it stopped working a few days ago. I called customer service today to see what I could do about it. I spoke to an awesome lady (who's name I should have asked!) who helped troubleshoot with me. After she realized it wasn't a fixable problem she told me a shipping label for the power cord was on its way and that they'd send out a replacement! I really don't expect customer service like this anymore so it really made my day and has made me a loyal bissell customer! You really can't go wrong with this mop.

I absolutely love my Bissell steam cleaner. It is light, very easy to use, and my wood floor does not get so wet, as with other cleaners. I tried another brand of steam cleaner that lasted only 3 months. I have had my Bissell power fresh cleaner over a year. Very reasonably priced. Over all it is a great machine!

I bought this steam mop based upon the reviews it received and I have to say I'm not sorry that I bought it. It does its job and then some and I LOVE the little scent disks that you can place in the pads. This is my second steam mop and the 4th brand that I've dealt with and this one is by far the best. I have several Bissell products.

The only reason why I'm giving this a 4 Star is because mine finally died on me. I did use it often, but had it for just under 3 years... Not sure what the average life for these are.. BUT!! I absolutely love it and am going to order a new one. It cleans the floors really nice! I was given a shark and I do not like it!

Love it on my laminate floors, but I have a small area of hardwood and when I used it, the next day I saw it left a small white streak. :( I've heard this is a problem for a few others on here and you mentioned to use water and vinegar. What kind of vinegar should i use? And I have one more minor issue. After using it, my mop pad was filthy (which is good#, but when i washed it on the gentle cycle with laundry detergent #not bleach), I noticed it didn't really get the dirt out really well. I know there's nothing wrong with my washer? Do I need to let it soak in hot water/detergent 1st before I put in washer? Please help!
