I have just gone through my 3rd PowerFresh steam mop. It is absolutely the best thing I have ever used for my tile and laminate wood flooring. The bummer is they last maybe 6 months before problems start with the mop. My latest one has steam dripping out he back and will no longer heat up. I don't want to send it the cut cord again for a new one! I just want one that works properly for more than a year. I'm going to throw this one out with the trash and buy a different brand that gets good reviews. Totally bummed because I literally use this mop daily and now I'm out my favorite cleaning tool!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] had shark mops x 2 and they died within a year. this Bissel 1940 has been great. The water tank lid broke so now having to order a replacement, other than that it has been great. i don't use it every day, but for me it has served me well.

I purchased the power fresh a year ago. Love it!!!!! I gave it a five star review but.... I wish the water dispenser was easier to detach. Kind of hard to get a good grip on. Other that that, I love the cleaning power. The floors are old vinyl but it cleaned all the old accumulated dirt out beautifully. I just purchased two more for family members. BISSELL didn't have stock, they researched and found where I could purchase what I needed, thanks for that. Did I mentioned I loved it!!!!!! Tossed my old mop and I will never go back. Get in more stock cause word of mouth should afford more sales. Thanks again.

There is nothing better than stepping on a really clean floor in ones bare feet. The beauty of steam cleaning with distilled water and for me a touch of white vinegar, is there is no residue. I especially like that it kills germs and viruses. I purchased one for my daughter who also loves it.

I love this steam mop! I used to have a Shark steam mop and it died so I got this as a replacement. It heats up super fast and I love that I don't have to pump it like the Shark, which would end up hurting my shoulder by the time I finished cleaning 1000 sq ft of wood floor. This cleans really fast and it is easy to push around. It doesn't leave streaks and gets all the puppy paw prints up quickly.

Bissell PowerFresh Steam Mop where have you been all my life! This product is so easy to put together and use. It cleans up pet messes in a flash. I was able to clean all my floors in less time it used to take me to wash my kitchen floor on my hands and knees and this product had the floors bright and shiny with no film or streaks! The other benefit for me since I do have pets is that the floor is dry almost instantly so no trying to keep the dogs off the floor while it dries! It is so easy to use now I can clean up the wet dog streaks and slobber off the floor at any time! I used to spot clean these messes until I had enough time to wash my floors on the weekend. No more, now I can get this product out and do my whole floor at any time! Which means I have more time on the weekends for other things and who doesn't want that!

Loved my steam mop - I have all hardwood and tile in my house and could always trust that it would get the job done, but after a year it has become temperamental - sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I have not found anything else on the market like it for the money. I am going to call about the two year warranty and hopefully have it serviced at no cost to me - I will write an additional review based on the type of service that I get on the warranty.

I first used it on my bath room that over a number years had become increasingly dirty; I could not remove it with ordinary floor cleaner with and ordinary mop. The Bissell mop achieved what I could not and now my floor is really clean. The vinyl flooring looks just it did when it was installed. My next floor cleaning project with the Bissell mop is my kitchen floor. The years have also left down deep dirt & grime. I predict that it will do the same fantastic job that it did in my bathroom.

I bought this steam mop after the I had the replace the water tank cap on my Bissell Select 4 times in hopes that a better quality mop would eliminate my problem. Unfortunately it did. I've had it about 2 months now and the water tank cap broke yesterday. I am really disheartened by I absolutely love this steam mop, it works wonderfully but I don't want to keep by caps.

I love this mop. I have an old house that still has rubber tiled flooring. There is a lot of high traffic areas (with pets, kids, etc.). This type of tile really holds the dirt! Both my husband and I had to get on hands and knees to scrub this floor clean. That was usually an all-day project. In 2 hours, my floor was clean! I highly recommend that the instructions that are given with this steam mop are followed! We used distilled water ONLY. Worked GREAT! I am so very happy with this unit. Very easy to use.
