When I bought this, I was a little skeptical about it, but it far exceeded my expectations! It is very fast and very easy to use. The floors shine after using, and if you use the "smelly" stuff your house smells great! I really like using the fragrance discs. And it can also convert to a carpet cleaner too, so that's a plus in my eyes.

Lightweight easy to operate but does a superb job at cleaning! I had a Shark Steam Cleaner but this one out-performed it handily. Wish I had a video of the floors before cleaning and one to show how much better they look after using the Bissell. You have Consumer Reports to thank for my purchasing this brand...and I am happy I did.

Steam Mop Model 1940 works as I expected, very well. Pros: When received it was easy to setup and ready to use in 10 minutes or less. Removing canister and filling with H20 was simple. After plugging it in ( will discuss this later) a short time about 30 seconds it was ready to use. Swivel head makes it easy to get in close quarters for cleaning. A great feature. All & all I would rate this portion 10 stars Cons: In order to turn off the mop you must yank the cord from the electrical outlet from across the room you just finished cleaning. Why no switch on the mop ? Bad bad bad design. This was a big disappointment. Overall rating only 5 stars.

This mop has made cleaning easy and dare I say enjoyable. It heats up quickly and gets the tough dirt and grime off my tile floors. Having two small boys and pets this mop is a breeze to pull out and go. I love the fresh discs and find that a quarter of the disc freshens the house perfectly. I tried a half disc and the scent was a bit too powerful.

My sister gave me the Bissell Powerfresh steam mop as a Xmas present in 2014. I have used it on my laminate flooring probably 20 times and I've made sure I did the following: 1. I've always used Distilled water. 2. I didn't concentrate on one spot. 3. I always moved at a fast pace while on my laminate flooring. Now, my floor is buckling in spots as if it's been mopped with a soaking wet mop over time.. I don't think your company should say that this particular item is safe to use on laminate flooring.

Within three weeks of purchase and use, this vacuum/steamer could not keep up with our 15 x 22 kitchen floor. Steaming the floor after food prep and meals at the end of the day - this product failed. No longer putting out steam, the 'trigger' only works part of the time. So disappointed as the Vacuum store recommended. I have not even filled out the warranty card!! Purchased the 'pet clean up' as we now have a 2 year old living with us - constant clean up.

This is hands down the BEST cleaning product that I have ever used! I just cleaned my limestone kitchen floor and it transformed it from 15 years of blackened grout back to the original beige! My family even commented on how smooth and how different the tiles feel under our feet now. (The professional cleaners I have used over the years did not even achieve this result!!) I didn't realize how dirty the floor was until I used this simple tool. It took me several hours because my kitchen is on the large side, but I went above and beyond since the results were satisfying. It's the perfect task during quarantine.

Just bought it today. Easy set up! Used highest steam for my tile floors, dries up quickly. My steamer left a wet to the touch feeling, which is normal, and it dried up quickly. I used the low steam on my wood floor and it did not leave streaks or residues. I was afraid it would drenched my wood floor if it got too wet but it did not. Love the constant steams it provided. Will give an update! Love my new steamer! :)

This steam mop is a dream come true. I really, really love a clean house, as the old saying goes, a place for everything and everything in its place! I had another brand of steam mop that gave up on me, it was one of those trigger mops. I did some research and found the Bissell Power Fresh Steam Mop. It soon became my new best friend. We will be BFF. The ability to choose the amount of steam you need is a real winner, Not having to constantly squeeze the trigger is certainly a plus. The brush attachment to remove stubborn spots only adds icing to the cake. The water container is easy to remove and fill. The pads are big enough to speed up the job and some genius put scrubby wavelike things on one of the pads to make it simple to clean up a dirtiest floor. The water heats up very fast and the job is completed in no time. The long cord lets you do a large room without having to stop and move the plug. I am extremely happy with my decision.

Product works and steams for cleaning as claimed. I did find the water canister extremely difficult to grasp and remove from the main unit as the sides are indented slightly however there is nothing to actually grasp hold of. This is not a good product for an older person or anyone with large hands. I used it and it worked but because it is all made of plastic it wont last you long. Sure you can buy replacement parts but with the frequency of the parts breaking and the shipping might as well buy a different unit. I wont but again and can not recommend.
